If you cluster diverse tribes into tight cities, you're going to have conflict. Add economic hardship and lack of opportunity and freedom from socialism and you have the perfect storm for violence in places like LA, New York, and Chicago.

This president has had more media exposure than any other president. He also takes massively more questions from the media than any other president before him. He knows that he can use bad questions to his advantage by creating an enemy out of the biased media.

Every successful president needs a foil or an enemy. Traditionally, presidents would use national foils like Russia. Trump has found a foil much closer to home.

Because terminating a pregnancy does not have to involve destroying the fetus in most cases. In fact I doubt there would be any law restricting a termination of any pregnancy that does not destroy the fetus.

I read a depressing article that said making ultrasounds mandatory for people getting abortions had the effect of closing down 6 out of 7 legal abortion clinics in the district of a state due to a severe drop in demand of services.

That's depressing when a simple image causes that many people to rethink the method of terminating a pregnancy.

Or Alternatively the Scotus can confer legal personhood to a fetus to justify the ban on termination of pregnancy by killing a fetus at 24 weeks or some other arbitrary number they want to come up with. Would be nice to have the law applied consistently.

It's a matter of historical fact that it took 4+ more years for Japan to sign a peace treaty with Russia.

No those generals are absolutely correct. Japan would have most certainly surrendered to Russia after Russia invaded Hokkaido and turned Japan into a Russian puppetstate without the nuclear strikes.

Truman wisely told Stalin to Fuckoff, Japan was going to become an American puppet state instead, and he had the nukes to do it.
