Many Brazilians disagree. In fact, if you are a person of color, the USA is the best place to live hands down than anywhere in Latin America.
Nearly all of the race baiting in contemporary American media actually originates from minority leadership, not whites.
Jussee smollett and Nathan Phillips and BLM can tell you that the USA actually rewards minority races simply for making up fake stories about racism that does not exist.
I assure you that is NOT the case ANYWHERE in Latin America. They don't have to make anything up.

I'm old enough where it does not matter anymore to me who gets elected. There will always be states in the union stupid enough to subsidize my decadent, lazy lifestyle where I work 15 hours a week and still have a positive flow into my bank account due mostly to scamming the social safety net by pretending to be a needy person instead of a lazy person.

I mean there's liking a favorite candidate and then being realistic about who the DNC will ultimately allow to be the candidate due to superdelegates and DNC support. There is no evidence so far that this primary will be any different than the Hillary primary. The outrage over the marginalization of Bernie was not enough to reform anything substantial. Every message from the DNC indicates support for an identity politician.

America has the fattest, wealthiest poor on the entire planet. The standard of living for a poor American is astronomical compared to the poor anywhere else on the globe. The "poor" in America live like kings compared to the poor anywhere in Africa.
It's a big reason why people jump the border wall.

The hidden elephant in the room is that the more the planet becomes overpopulated by humans, the less is our ability as a species to adapt to climate changes. Although humans arguably may be the most adaptable species on the planet, the general rule in nature holds true: that when the population of a species is critically high or critically low, the species become less responsive to adapting to a changing environment.
Just about the only point I can agree on in the crazy AOC green deal crowd is that we have too many people on the planet.
Climate change WILL happen with or without human intervention, and our technology is insufficient to terraform the planet and normalize the climate.
The human population won't be able to maintain its current level of population if the planet goes through a major climate shift as scientists have seen in the Earth's past.

Executive branch has the onerous task of enforcing existing laws. If the Congress wanted no barriers on the border, they should not have voted for it. If Congress really wanted to, it could have voted to tear down all existing barriers and repealed the secure fence act while Obama was still president.
