I mean, the damage is already done at this point. No sane politician can ever win an election on open borders, and the SCOTUS is locked up for the rest of my natural life.

At any-rate the point I'm making is that Dershowitz's opinion is not a legal consensus, and that from a legal standpoint there is a good case to be made that Comey's firing was obstruction.
Since the supreme court is already stacked, the consensus won't be in the radical left's favor.

When the special counsel has stopped looking for actual hard evidence like a tape or a smoking gun, and has spent most of last year setting up multiple perjury traps to trap numerous people for lack of actual evidence, you know the justice system has failed the people.
Trump is never going to be impeached over a FBI manufactured perjury trap. Hell even when Clinton had hard evidence against him like the Dress, there was no impeachment over proven perjury. No chance in hell will a supermajority of the Senate impeach Trump- when 57 senators have a (R) by their name over perjury, especially one constructed by the FBI with no corroborating hard evidence.

THE BIGGEST COMPLIMENT YOU CAN GIVE TRUMP is to attack him personally. You can't attack him for starting wars like his predecessors because he hasn't started any. You can't attack him for a tanking economy like his predecessors because the economy is booming. You can't attack him for going on apology tours for the United States like his predecessors because all he does when he goes abroad is fight for us. You can't attack him for raising taxes like Obama did and Hillary would have done because he lowered them. You can't attack him for being soft on national defense and at our borders like his predecessors because we all know how he is with those. You can't attack him for being corrupt and rigging an election because he won DESPITE the election being rigged against him. You can't attack him for not being available to the press because he speaks with the press every single day. And speaking of the press, you can't attack him for not being patient because there is nobody alive with his amount of patience. Not a single one of us would be able to handle all the shit he has to deal with. You can't attack him for any of the actual important things that affect our daily lives because when it comes to those issues, he's doing a superb job. So if all people can attack him on is his personality, I'd say that's a win for him and all of us too. And as far as working for us, he's just barely gotten started. Side note: The reason Trump was elected in the first place was a message to the political and media establishments that we see right through their bullshit and lies, we aren't buying their bullshit and lies, and we won't put up with them anymore. It was a loud and clear message for them but they just don't get it still because they're not just continuing with the same behavior, they're doubling down. They are the epitome of stupid and will not be successful.

It's irrelevant. Even left bias politifact acknowledges most gun crimes are done with unregistered guns. Tracking legal guns isn't going to help.they track the number of new NICS checks, that's where the claim came from, but yeah who's to say since many private sales don't need that check.

That's kind of a bad example though. In rare circumstances, Detroit government has relaxed regulations enough for some people to convert abandoned lots into grazing and farm areas. Socialism actually puts a pretty big halt to runaway industrialization because the government is so inefficient when it is in charge.

@TheDredPriateRoberts
Even if all of that is true, habitat change/depletion is still predicted to continue far past the most dire climate change predictions of any government funded climatologist.
Except it's runaway human population and runaway industrialization that are the unspoken culprits.

I know right? Paying .003% of his total net worth for sex is outrageous. He needs a new accountant with spending habits like that. The great deal maker paid two women $300,000 for two fucks, what a deal maker. Put him in charge of the economy, he'll have everyone paying over the odds for everything.

You call yourself a libertarian so you are probably against ethnic nationalism taking root amongst and between the United States, not supportive of ethnic cleansing. Every culture needs to be afforded the capacity to assimilate to the end of their common cause in relationship through the states.
America has had many decades experimenting with non-assimilation of cultures. One side effect of this policy are social communities using law enforcement and prisons to settle cultural disputes. America now has an exorbitant prison population filled with people who have not assimilated into civilization. The recidivism rate suggests the prison system is completely unable to perform the role of assimilating people. Most schools are forbidden to cite the pledge of allegiance, or teach anything resembling a unifying culture. This diversity has also spilled over into the law, where the law becomes so distorted through conflicting precedents from judges with different cultures that law enforcement can't understand the spirit of any law.
A nation needs a unifying culture. Period. Or that nation will not exist. The sole purpose of having a nation is to protect a culture. Otherwise we will see a civil war, and soon, as states become increasingly tribal and realize they have less and less in common culturally with the other states, especially between the coastal cultures and fly-over cultures.
So to your point, a libertarian ideal is going to encourage secessionism citing the central core tenet of libertarians to have the freedom to associate, but we all know how that would turn out today.

This is a silly sentiment. If global multicultures don't matter and they are all essentially equal, why are there migrants and refugees? Why won't any of the relatively civilized nations in the Middle East take in the Palestines? Obviously some cultures are more prosperous and peaceful and safer than others.
America stopped encouraging assimilation many decades ago when they started teaching the myth that all cultures are essentially equal.

It really doesn't, not to people or even animals. What really matters is habitat change, which may or may not be caused in part by climate change. Climate change may also have a negligible effect on habitats for some plants and animals. The main reason scientists don't talk about habitat change is because that would force scientists to assign a ranking to the factors that cause habitat change. If they were to be honest about the causes of habitat change, they would be forced to admit climate change usually ranks pretty low as a causal factor in most cases.
Examining the vast majority of cases of global habitat change and habitat depletion, the 2 main causes clearly are human overpopulation and human industrialization. If the climate were to remain static, habitats would still disappear. I'm not just talking about animal and plant habitats disappearing. Human habitats are also destroyed from resource depletion from runaway industrialization, and this depletion is then multiplied by runaway overpopulation. While climate change may be a concerning lesser factor toward habitat depletion, the hyperfocus on climate change does little to address the real major causes of habitat depletion.
Considering the world's general apathy toward climate change, it's alarming to note an even greater global apathy toward runaway population and runaway industrialization. So the question is thus: at what point will this apathy abate? How much habitat needs to be destroyed before scientists focus their studies on the effects of overpopulation and over industrialization? Most of it?
The one sure thing is that the planet has built in defenses from overpopulation and resource depletion with the mechanics of starvation and disease. If humans get to that point, which will happen if these 2 problems are not addressed, it will take thousands of years to reverse the damage if no actions are taken now. Population control will take thousands of years to address if it is to be done humanely through birth control policies. While most plants and animals may be able to migrate and adapt to different climates as they have done so throughout Earth's history, they are no match for human overpopulation, which has wiped out many many more habitats and caused the extinction of countless species long before anyone took a look at the effects of "climate change" on habitats.

If anything, Bush Sr might be the least hawkish president since Truman. Certainly less hawkish than Dronebama, 7 war Clinton (Somalia, Rwanda, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Kosovo, Yugoslavia, and Haiti.) and his son, who razed the Iraq power structure of the Middle East into the dust.
