Something you can sadly conclude is that the liberal states that hold guns accountable over people are more likely to create an environment for the creation of mentally unstable people. There is a reason far left liberal states have the most homeless, least employed people, and most violent crime. Accountability of the individual is almost completely replaced by state control in places like California, Detroit, Chicago, New York, and Washington DC.

Most revisionist racist scientists have a vested interest in claiming there are significant DNA markers in certain people from geographic regions that makes them socially handicapped, but even according to your article, the phenotypes are too varied in populations today to equate people on the basis of phenotypes to any of those DNA markers.
For the layman, a certain shade of skin or a funny nose has zero bearing on your total DNA picture.

The only additional factor I'd really want to include is some sort of subjective assessment via interview. Professional interviewers are capable of discerning quite a lot about a person, and I think that skill-set could be applied towards determining whether or not a potential immigrant is likely to assimilate culturally.
Respect of the law is the most functionally vital metric of assimilation into a culture for stability purposes, because if an immigrant (legal or illegal) does not agree with the law AND does not recognize authority, they are far more likely to simply break the laws at will instead of using the electoral and judicial system to redress the law. Society descends into anarchy and tribal squabbles. This is actually a lot more functionally important to society than being able to speak English. Most of the really desperate immigrants were raised all their lives in a lawless society. You actually have to teach them.

There's nothing I liked about the guy. He wasn't a hero, his ego was larger than his IQ, his hawkish policies were terrible for the country, and he had no idea how to fix any real problem. Smooth with the rhetoric, and lacking on effective policies...reminds me of Obama. His legacy as a Senator is a straight up disaster for the country. Same here...i've worked office jobs, sales, construction work, paralegal, military (Navy), offshore oil rig support vessels, plywood mill work, and finally settled down to teach the real world to brains full of mush. (high schoolers)
