The fundamental idea that a rich person owning many millions and snowballing their advantage at ridiculous rates at the sake of many starving people isn't 'resisting empathy' of the starving and desperate, it's empathising too much with somebody who'd be just as happy/unhappy without quite as extremely much of a chokehold on their respective level of wealth,
This is an example of an emotional reaction. Both the liberal and conservative want good things for poor people, but the liberal is mad at the rich and will make simplistic policies like the following

Meanwhile your average conservative would do an analysis to see what policies would actually help the poor as opposed to the reaction that merely feels good.
It's the reason why when Reagan left office more people had escaped the poverty level in the United States through his supply side economics than in any time throughout American history.
In fact, Reagan made America so wealthy, the left somehow turned it into an insult that the poor in America no longer had to starve to death and could afford basic comforts. Just look at the Hollywood cope for any movie that takes place during the Reagan era.
That's why Reagan's reelection campaign, he asked Americans if he made their life better, to vote for him so he can do it again. He of course was reelected because he improved the lives of a lot of poor and working class people as evidenced by the fact more people left the poverty level than any preceding time in history

My wife is literally fucking a homeless guy who survives fine and lives well and still manages to get pussy as a homeless guy.

But progressives fail to ask whether "the processes they set in motion" in fact result in their desired outcome. Just because you set processes in motion, and do so with an intent (however noble), there is no way you can know whether you're going to improve the thing you're trying to solve.
Precisely why I believe when policies are created and have had enough time to record results, we should roll back the policies if they failed to accomplish what they set out to.

A little tip for you. I often as scum, simulate actual scum hunting by doctor or cop hunting. You don't really get many tells on me that way, because all my actions do indicate I am hunting.
If you want, you can sometimes do actual TP hunting and your behaviors will largely resemble town behaviors as well. It's hard to get into that head space, when you are in a game like this one, where TPs are unlikely though

Again, you aren't doing anything wrong. Humans have certain psychological tells that are hard to hide. I am not criticizing your actions, so much as pointing out, that you are most likely scum based on things like that. It shows a level of trying to write words just to write words.
I often do something similar, where I write in a flow of consciusness, in fact I am doing it now. Just unfiltered thoughts pouring out. Nothing wrong with that. The issue here is that you are repeating sttements and fluffing, because scum are usually conscious of their activity level. You want to appear active, because you falsely believe that town is more active than what it is.
You also struggle, because scum can't really scum hunt, so they have to simulate, giving a shit about finding scum, and since lying is uncomfortable they often say stuff like . I think Ilike pie is scum because he is buddying up to people, but maybe he is town trying to buddy up so people feel more secure giving him information".
That is the exact type of analysis that comes from scum, trying to simulate actual scum hunting. It is unnatural. Again, you aren't doing anything wrong. You are a human, and imperfect. You have psychological tells, and you have been caught. Maybe the rest of town will see it, but often these are weak players who rarely are privy to the psychological element of the game and you will get off the hook.

I am likely going to be banned for this thread, and I am fine with that. It took me a while to realize what ADOL was talking about in his arguments.
Go ahead and apply his arguments to anything related to pedophilia, and you'll see that they actually apply better to a pro pedophilia argument. The bestiality argument is used as a wedge to get your mind to slowly wrap around the ideal that pedophilia should be legal.

I'd say they definitely shouldn't be trusted. For one thing there is some unnecessary red tape which slows down life saving research from reaching dying patients. We also have the fact that their red tape means it costs companies billions to bring a product to market. That cost means a monopoly of companies who can easily work together, are in charge of making effective medicine, with no incentive to truly create a revolutionary method, due to likely secret clause not to do that, such as how the cable companies used the government to create monopolies in different regions.
We also have the revolving door between government FDA employees and companies rewarding ones who were soft on them by giving them jobs, when their tenure is up at the FDA.
TLDR
This creates
1. Low competitions because the price to bring a drug to market is billions. This is why corporations paid politicians to put the FDA in place. To increase market share
2. Incentives for corruption based on the revolving door between FdA and drug company employees.
3. Slow processes that keep drugs from getting to market fast enough
This is simple to solve. You do it through the following.
1. Cut all unnecessary red tape and keep necessary redtape. Making it so life saving drugs can make it to market faster, and so it is cheaper to bring drugs to market, allowing more companies to attempt to do so, and advancing medicine at a faster exponential rate.
2. Stop the revolving door by making the FDA unable to hire anyone who has ever worked at a drug company

Post 52 should bother everyone. Sc are often very self conscious about their own perceived activity level. Computernerd is announcing he will be inactive because he is going to sleep. Assuming you live everyday in a state of ego death, how has that affected your ability to live normally and thrive against the stresses, pressures, and expectations of modern life?
You can't live in a state of ego death everyday. It explains an occurrence. Ego death can occur several times in somebody's life and is typically an unpleasant experience.
The ego is the part of the personality that protects your inner child. Most people will build these defenses back up again gradually and emerge with a new personality, though I am sure the core self still remains.
Ideally before the ego gets a chance to rebuild itself, you live in pure consciousness sometimes called Christ consciousness.
I don't particularly care about the stresses of modern life or pressures. I don't feel them. The world could burn around me, and I would stay in a state of bliss.
Has it adversely affected your career or relationships? Has it positively affected these things? Or neither?
It's helping me to establish boundaries in my relationship and disregard my tendency to people please. I tend to be more forgiving when I like a person or they like me.
For example the wife has been cheating on me with various men, now and in the past. Before I just kinda hoped she would change and stop continuing to hurt me. Now, I am leaving on April 1st and we are working on a parenting plan.
I would like to salvage the relationship, but it won't happen unless she changes and shows remorse. So I guess in some aspects it has harmed that relationship.
When I am with my son, I am less distracted. If we play a game or watch a movie, I am now 100% in the moment, so it has helped that relationship.
I am not judgemental of people and accept them as they are, so now I do enjoy the presence of a wife variety of people, as before I kept no social network or a very tiny one. So I guess it has improved things in that regard.
I do have a long time close friend, who I stopped biting my tongue around because he is killing himself with alcohol. I don't like seeing him hurt himself, so I don't condone his actions, and if he tells me he is drunk, or was drunk the night before, I will remind him of how that affects people around him. So that has harmed my relationship with him.
So it really is a mixed bag as to whether or not relationships have improved or gotten worse.
Career wise, it has helped. I was job hopping before, to keep getting more money or because I thought my family deserved better. I now realize the role luck plays in building wealth, and just focus on doing the right things now in terms of building wealth and security for my family.
My shift in focus at work has adjusted as well. Prior to this I would get frequent promotions or better opportunities. When I did this my focus was on buying the best I could possibly be.
Now I focus on being as helpful as I can possibly be, so I anticipate the loop of rapid promotions and accolades to slow down or possibly stop.
So I would say it has likely negatively impacted my career.
Can you compare yourself now with the you from before you stumbled across this revelation?
Yes. Prior to becoming enlightened. I was weighed down with the weight of the world. I felt responsible for every bad thing.
Kids starve every day and I donate less than 100% of my income to feed them. I technically could live in a box, and eat in a soup kitchen or off the land and donate 100% and help hundreds of starving people a year eat.
I have not dedicated my life to ending age related diseases. If my lack of devotion to doing that would have cured them one day sooner, we are looking at potentially a million lives saved. So in some respect, by not doing that I have murdered one million people.
By dissolving the ego, I don't feel guilty for these things. I now realize we all have killed millions through our lack of action or in some cases because of action. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
A huge weight was lifted in that regard. I also felt very little emotion other than empathy prior, but now an in a state of bliss.
