meanwhile, in China, there has been a school in which the staff is harassing students, students report about it and the staff are paying hundreds of thousands to keep it(the issue) down.
I think in general if there is a school system with a huge amounts of substitutes in consumption, school staffs tends to get greedy and act irrationally.

Having a higher level than everybody else? Probably add some privileges to the leveling system as well. Also maybe a leaderboard.
I am afraid that RM will be the only member of the top level for months. If that is not the case, then climbing the ladder is too easy and soon people will return to their old interests seeing there is nowhere to go. Unless if we have a point system overall, such as if we win, we gain points. Votes? gain points. Forum post? gain points. etc. The top of the leaderboard is the most contributional person to the site. Tempbans deduct points and permabans reset to 0. What about this?

Well, reading your forum posts make me giggle, so it definitely works in some cases when Reddit is down and I am desperate for laughters.
Ironic roasting aside, I can definitely find fun just by reading debates. It still works, just not in its intended way. Or in my point of view, if I am banned and can no longer do anything here, it just transformed into an automatic self-expanding base of thinking, in my POV, since I don't know any of y'all IRL.

If dead battery is battery: Then dead battery can still be used in other fields, they aren't obsolete nor useless.
If dead battery is not battery: Then dead battery is something else, for example, a fuel source. If you think it is obsolete in every way, then it is something that you don't know what it is. That thing has uses. We just don't have the demand for such thing.

That is because you are assuming the only job for a battery is providing power. Of course, all batteries SHOULD provide power, but they can do other things as well.
Batteries are batteries and it is anything you think is a battery. Are you perhaps saying dead batteries are no longer batteries? Even then, a dead battery just transforms into something else useful that is not useful as a battery. For example, a used racecar wheel becomes a coffee table.

I think more experience generally correlates to better voting. I think the bar of 2 debates is on the right direction. After all, it should not be the case that User_2006 is, in theory, less eligible for voting than the average newcomer.

For forfeiters, those messages of extension would only take like 2 minutes or so for the other side, and what if they come back and actually kick ass with good arguments before the last round? If forfeit = autoloss, then we would lose more opportunities than would time, so I think the net benefit, if we consider opportunity costs, is negative.
We are here to have good arguments, not to be punctual. There are actual people with little time and penalizing others for having a life despite us not knowing how good their argument will be would be pretty harsh, I suppose.
However, if people forfeit over 50% of all rounds, then it should be an autoloss.

I vote No. I had missed out on one argument because I was attending classes. And many of you WORK alright. Imagine just losing because you forgot to tend to your computer because you were too busy at your job, even if you actually do have arguments. I mean, forfeiting definitely disadvantages the forfeiter, but automatically losing because of forfeiture is too harsh in my opinion.

Facts do care about feelings, because in order to make it a fact, you have to feel that it is correct.
And no, facts can be subjective. Put a man on the other end of a 9 statue and put a wall also so he can't go to the other side, and he will say that this is a 6. For a person elsewhere, it is a 9. It is a fact to you because YOU believe it is true.
Gravity? Yeah sure. You jump up, you throw the ball, it goes down. Gravity! That is Proof! If you are born in in 0G and there is no video or proof showing that gravity indeed exists, to you it seems like as if it doesn't exist.
Facts cannot not care about your feelings. If you don't feel this is true, it isn't a fact for you. You could be convinced though, by means that you think is actually "proof".
And for the "perceived fact" thing, no, you think it is a fact because you think you have proof of it being true. The world has no obligation to be true, you are the reason that it exists for you. For others, if they even exist at all, their world may be different. Hallucinations and illusions are just different perceptions of the world.

Acceptance rounds are generally being eliminated due to on this website, debates can have descriptions. Back in DDO, the people who owned the sites never added a description feature so the first round argument served as descriptions. There have been many instances where no arguments are provided on the first round but only descriptions, so it is polite for the acceptor to just say "I accept" as a placeholder to let the instigator start.
Unless the instigator clearly says that the challenger starts first and does not need to say anything the last round. These types of debates are pretty common back in DDO but due to the implementation of the description section it has become almost obsolete.

Also, we should never ever illegalize not yet receiving the vaccine, because you could eventually do it. But since unvaccinated people can't be trusted around, I think it is pretty rational to not let them ride in amusement parks, buses, etc.
