But black people score lower not because they are stupid. It is because they on average receive less education. Still a problem though.

Depends on degrees or radians. For degrees, it is for a 4 degree angle. For radians, it is for the angle corresponding to the arc that is 4 radians long, assuming the radius is 1 radian long.

School systems should include LBTQ+ topics in their history and sex education
-->
@949havoc
Then we should not teach anything that is not maths or science since we don’t necessarily speak English or practice liberalism.

It does affect all of us. Although not all of us are gay, etc., it is up to all of us that they are normal functioning members of society and that we recognize they exist assuming if Mesopotamia and the Cold War were historically as real.

It is a line of story, history. Within the history we accept, we should know that LGBT people exist and fundamentally are the same with everyone else. Teaching merely they exist and are functioning members of society shouldn’t be frowned upon.

A replicated Mona Lisa is a fake Mona Lisa. It is still art, even if it isn’t “the Mona Lisa”. Some people call replicas non-art.

Yes and no. I believe, at least in my experience, Chinese users can only link with Chinese users, and Non-Chinese users can’t link with Chinese users. It is like a wall. Minecraft isn’t banned. The Chinese department is ran by a local game company.

I think using the urinal as a masturbation device is a terrible choice as the holes are small and you would either hurt yourself or get the urinal dysfunctional.

Though, masturbating or “f—king” and emptying semen to the urinal is somewhat plausible, in my opinion.

"Fake art"
-->
@drlebronski
Yes. The real Mona Lisa is of more value than its replicators due to it taking more effort to create. Although it has more intrinsic art value, it is aesthetically the same basically as the replicas and both are art, despite one worth more than the other for being original.

"Fake art"
Is there even "fake art" at all? What is real art, if then?

Sure, you looked at a picture that looks like the real Mona Lisa. Everyone cheers and nobody notices that it is a replica. Is it fake? NO! It is as visually pleasing as the "real" Mona Lisa painting. This picture is basically a replica, and thus would lose in originality for so and thus may be valued less socially(even if we exclude the credits of the artist, in which Da Vinci took years to finish this one), but nevertheless, it is real art. You can look at it, you can appreciate it. It satisfies anything and everything a regular piece of art does. A "replica" of Mona Lisa is nearly as aesthetically pleasing as the real one on its own, and to call it fake art would be disrespecting the artwork's beauty in of itself.

Do we, perhaps, call any book other than the final draft written by the author "fake"? Do we, perhaps, call cars that are produced and assembled in factories systematically instead of handcrafted by car designers as a concept in the ball room exhibited "fake"? Do we, perhaps, call that everything on Art magazines "fake" because they cannot afford to resurrect Van Gogh or Da Vinci to paint one for every copy of it?

Nope. Art can be replicated and replication, if done in the same quality, does not make it fake. If a drawing is of the exact same configuration and quality as "THE Mona Lisa", then what is fake about it, consider no one can tell it apart? Even if one considers it a "fake Mona Lisa", it is still as non-fake art as Mona Lisa itself, aesthetically.

Then, comes modern art, which is still not "fake art". Sure, art people can just splash paint upon crusty canvas and call that a piece of art. Someone could just take a piece of canvas and chop it in half, dip it in oil, and call that art. Yes. That is art. Due to the little effort it takes to create those, it may be less "art" than Mona Lisa, but it can never be non-art, since one can find it expressive and beautiful in of itself, as well as that it is intended to be "art". No matter what, it was meant to be expressive and that is what art is all about, and you don't call a 5-year-old's stick figure drawing non-art just because it is easy to replicate. Those replicas, on the other hands, are as much as "Is art" as the original one, even though it may be lacking in originality, thus being less "arty" than the original.

Unless originality and effort are both extensively required for any given piece of art to be even considered art, there is no "fake art" as we know it here.

Duchamp's Fountain should not be "exhibited" at all. Change my mind if you will.
The thing is: a taped banana is art, but it is "less art" than even a normal banana due to the effort you need to use the banana(eat it) is more than a normal banana. Seeing pretty things is a benefit. Having to do stuff in order to see it is a cost. The benefit doesn't change but the fact you have to peel the tape off from the wall is added cost, which makes the net benefit less than, say, eating a normal banana without tape. Unless you find a banana taped to a wall much more visually appealing than a normal store-bought banana, this has no business worth more than a regular banana.

Don't get me wrong. A normal banana is art. A taped banana should not cost $100,000 just because someone famous did it, at least in my opinion. If the banana actually is net this valuable, it should cost that much. If anything, saying this is worth $100,000 just because the beholder(taper?) said so is not at all the message conveyed by art of this caliber. You should have your own ideas of how much this worth, whether if you like it or not, and not follow the public idea regardless if they say it is good or bad. It is art, it has artistic value, it is a matter of more or less. A realism artist would consider dada art less than an abstract artist, probably. That doesn't mean either one is "true".

Art galleries are for looks. You look at sculptures and look at paintings on the walls. That is their intended purpose. Fountains/urinals, cars, and buildings, these are not only for looks, but also for their purpose. Not being able to use them really subtracts the artistic value of it.

Of course, when using it can easily lead to breaking it, it should still be for looks majorly. Most people nowadays who go on the 1st Benz model would probably yank and crank until the shaft is broken and the car is in pieces, which definitely subtracts its artistic value. All things art galleries or whatever is exhibiting these artforms should aim to maximize artistic values. In this case, looking at paintings is already probably at its max value, and being able to pee in a fountain specifically made for peeing is also of more artistic value than, say, one enclosed in the glass box for looks, because you can touch and use it, which is better than not, and there is little likelihood someone will just barge in and chop the urinals with a sledgehammer. In that case, the fountain is industrially easy to reproduce and replace.

Why do we need to exhibit something we can easily see everyday, especially since it can literally be seen, felt and used a few hundreds of feet away?(museums, especially ones that display "famous" works, like this, should have bathrooms).

This "fountain" is no different than the normal one you use in the bathroom, except for maybe a few signatures. If anything, it is WORSE at being an urinal due to it being an old model and new designers have came up with more ergonomic designs. Why do we have to appreciate this one thing we consider as art when we can see equivalent-artistic things, but more useful, in the bathroom? What more artistic value does this one bring when you can't even use it(you will get fined and get kicked by the guards if you attempt to pee in this one artwork)?

The fact is that most urinals we see in museums qualified enough to exhibit this artwork is as artistic, if not more artistic than Duchamp's fountain. If we are appreciating a certain fountain just because someone signed on it or someone touched on it, aren't we straying away from the message it is trying to convey?

I have seen on DDO that multiple people reason using the same account and use it to train for actual IRL tournaments. No one bats an eye. DDO was as anarchist and as broken as present-day 2b2t when I met them(2019).

Apple looks at you, but does not censor at all.(at least not in my experience). That is why I am ok with it. It only makes me spend a few dozen bucks more and not arrest me for not buying anything. If Apple is as strict as the government, it would have been another story.

Oh, they will indeed throw you in jail. If you even attempted to speak against CCP or even dared research VPNs or anything they don't like, it flags up. I don't know for sure but that's what it's capable of doing.
First off, this is wrong and I don’t like it. It is against Mao’a philosophy prior to his death and his mistakes which the Nation is abiding by in theory. In China’s version of Youtube, Bilibili, not only people has VPN, it is popular and long people has been uploading foreign humor to the site, as long as it isn’t politically offensive. The nation does not bat an eye at VPN users. What is illegal is the selling of VPN for malicious intents, for example, destroy the nation.

As for speaking against the nation, it too is against the founding fathers’ philosophy. The ideal China should not illegalize any speech against the nation. The truth is: nope. Critical recommendations are Ok, but malicious lies are not. What is flawed is the execution: they consider even Uyghur Genocide or 89/6/4 malicious. Dismissing them as conspiracy theories and prove to the public is OK. Deleting anything mentioning them is not. That is the the problem. The structure is Ok, what is inside it needs revision.

To be fair, I don't even care about privacy. They aren't gonna abduct me into space and they most definitely won't throw me in jail. If anything, they will advertise me product that I am more willing to pay and use. Privacy is to be concerned when it is among oppressors(yup, if I am punished for saying this it only becomes more correct). Apple is only trying to get me spend money, not to be a slave to the economy.

Privacy isn't inherently "good". Economical surveillance, for me, isn't "bad" either. I have not purchased expensive products(1000$+) on ads recommended by my phone because young people don't get much money.

My iPhone 7+ I bought two years ago still hasn't broken yet, and for the two years it really isn't a problem. All there is is that ads recommend me products I have searched up or related, cross-platform. Apple has given me not any trouble because they are tracking me.

You are also wrong that Mesmer is stopping, what Mesmer is doing now is dangerous in a different way, Mesmer is experimenting in very similar ways to previous fascists in history, with how to make the propaganda more diluted and palpable for the masses to at least be slightly swayed by, rather than repulsed by.
OK, he is harmful in general. Now there is no need for you to start this because even if he isn't what you claim to be he still deserves to be reported for being harmful, if this statement is true.

@RationalMadman
then all permanently banned users should not be permanently banned, by your logic
I can't believe that someone like you is utilizing the strawman fallacy.

No, absolutely not. If the account is harmful, ban it. If the account continues being harmful, permanently ban it. If the user comes back being constructive in another account, don't ban it. If the account then becomes toxic, ban it.

Creating alts is not the problem. Being generally harmful is. Not permanently banning people is bad, but permanently banning accounts for the sake of just being someone else with no evidence of being harmful is also bad as it restricts the freeflow of ideas. If you just wanna talk but you are banned from talking because you made many harmful comments a year ago, what is that different from the cancel culture of Twitter?

@RationalMadman
Well, harmful people may be harmful on their alts and they deserved to be reported. Once harmful behavior is shown reports will be made and the profile will be banned.

Making alts isn't the bad thing here. The bad thing is to use those alts to make negativity. Many of the willows alts don't try to spread negativity, instead they are just trying to contribute to actual topics and get banned for a few posts.

If there is no reports made and there is no negative behavior, there is no need to even report them and get them banned. Having a profile with 0 negativity despite having a history of being violent is the equivalent of a normal law-abiding user, until the former breaks site-wide rules that of course will get them banned, sooner or later.

Mesmer being MgtowDemon isn't the bad thing here, even if it is true. If you are reporting non-ban-worthy accounts out of bare speculation or reporting random people for no reason, then I don't know who being more detrimental to the site here.

Are most people OK with Mesmer posting things? YES. So even if Mesmer is an illegal alt, it impacts nearly nothing. Concluding that the mods are cowards just for a not-yet ban-worthy account is in itself fallacious.

This is like the 8th time you have made a topic on this. Unlike North Korea, you can leave by just logging off. You have left the site and came back multiple times during the site's 3-year history so I don't get it. Most of us seem to be satisfied with the mods. Your problems have only speculation as proof and yet when they don't have REAL proof you call them cowardly? Please mind your own business. If Mesmer becomes increasingly toxic not only to you but to others and the whole site generally, he WILL get banned regardless if he is an alt or not.
