At least he did not demand 10 percent for the Big Guy.
One, that accusation against Biden is a lie.
Two, you’re comparing a fictional attempt to get money, to a coup of the United States government. That itself makes you a moron.
Three, if you have any real proof of criminal or even unethical conduct by Biden related to money making schemes, let’s see it.
Four, Trump’s entire life has been one continuous illegal or unethical scheme to make money, including cheating on his taxes, scamming people like with Trump University and stealing money from “charities” which he and his children are now banned from operating in the state of New York. He continued his schemes even while President, accepting money from foreign officials and selling his hotel services to the U.S. government.

Former President Donald Trump pressured acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen to declare that the election was corrupt in an attempt to help Republican members of Congress try to overturn the election result, according to notes of a December 2020 call Trump held with Rosen and acting deputy attorney general Richard Donoghue.
During the December 27, 2020, call, Trump pressured Rosen and Donoghue to falsely declare the election “illegal” and “corrupt” even after the Justice Department had not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud. The exact quote of Trump was:
“Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen,” Trump said on the call, according to Donoghue’s notes.
Trump also threatened to fire both Rosen and Donoghue and appoint Jeffrey Clark as Attorney General

The statement you made was not relevant to what I was saying is obviously what I meant
Maybe that’s because what you said wasn’t relevant to the OP.
Trump is getting indicted. The subject in that sentence is Trump, but you made a comment on indictments, claiming they are easy to get.

The newspaper can be online. I get several including the Washington Post, NY Times, LA Times, OC Register and Boston Globe. It has nothing to do with age and everything to do with geography. Rural people stop learning when they are about 16
I love how all the conservatives claim to get their news from foreign sources because they don’t want to admit they get their news from FOX and twitter.
You can’t possibly believe the reason rural areas don’t have newspapers is because rural areas are mostly young people. Rural areas are populated by old, uneducated, lower middle class Americans who stopped reading and thinking when they were very young.

@PREZ-HILTON
Irrelevant. The point is indictments are easy to get.
That’s nonsense.
A grand jury must see enough evidence provided by the prosecutor to get an indictment. When you are guilty as hell, there’s a much better chance there is evidence to show the GJ. If the charges are unfounded, the prosecutor will have nothing to show them. Grand juries, even ones that indict Trump, take their responsibility very seriously, and they do have subpoena power and witnesses testify under oath, so they better not lie.
Indictment sounds serious, but it’s really just a declaration of probable cause, but I wouldn’t characterize the process as “easy”

It harmed middle class people in Blue States who get taxed to death already lol.
The 10,000 dollar SALT Capwas a deliberate attempt to raise taxes on states that will never vote Republican for President. You know it and I know it. That’s why I propose a tax increase on landowners i.e. rural people , just to even things out. A federal per acre tax on land over 1 acre.

@ILikePie5
Everyone knows the tax laws will always benefit the rich because they fund politicians. The difference is that the GOP did something to benefit the middle class too with tax cuts, while Dems just sit there arguing their pronouns
Giving the middle class a few dollars while blowing up the deficit with tax cuts for the wealthy does NOT help the middle class. Ending personal exemptions was terrible policy for middle class taxpayers with children, it completely wiped out the doubling of the standard deduction.

Nice read. All the more reason I don't engage those who prioritize criticizing the source rather than the argument/fact.
The source is critically important you idiot. If your source is not credible, like a liar in a jury, or someone who does not have the credentials to speak as an expert, then what to you have? You certainly don’t have facts on your side.

Sure, as soon as you tells us how it was Lincoln who was responsible for freeing the slaves.
So you are sticking with the Congress ratifies their own amendment. Ok dummy.
Lincoln freed the slaves as the Commander in Chief of the U.S. military that defeated the Army of the Confederate States.
Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation and then championed the 13th Amendment, personally involving himself in whipping the votes to its ultimate passage.
Your little book by that idiot makes you a dummy, not more informed on the subject. When you choose a book written by an idiot, published by a company that publishes books by Sarah Palin, it just makes you misinformed in addition to being a dummy.

FDR's tyranny created the 2 term rule. Not Washington.
Lincoln was 3 months into becoming worm food when Slavery officially became illegal and the 13th amendment became the law of the land.
Details matter.
The 13th amendment - Passed by Congress January 31, 1865. Ratified December 6, 1865. Lincoln dies April 15, 1865.
Check your facts bonehead. And what does tyranny mean to a guy who lives with his mother?

You two idiots found another idiot to validate your nonsense. This author, Thomas DeLorenzo, is a quack.
“Writing for biased, Rich Lowry described DiLorenzo's technique in this book as the following: "His scholarship, such as it is, consists of rummaging through the record for anything he can find to damn Lincoln, stripping it of any nuance or context, and piling on pejorative adjectives. In DiLorenzo, the Lincoln-haters have found a champion with the judiciousness and the temperament they deserve."[26]
Reviewing for The Independent Review, a think tank associated with DiLorenzo, Richard M. Gamble called the book a "travesty of historical method and documentation". He said the book was plagued by a "labyrinth of [historical and grammatical] errors", and concluded that DiLorenzo has "earned the ... ridicule of his critics."
In a 2009 review of three newly published books on Lincoln, historian Brian Dirck linked the earlier work of Thomas DiLorenzo with that of Lerone Bennett, another critic of Lincoln. He wrote that "Few Civil War scholars take Bennett and DiLorenzo seriously, pointing to their narrow political agenda and faulty research."[36]
Who would publish this guy?
Regnery Publishing is a politically conservative book publisher based in Washington, D.C. The company was founded by Henry Regnery in 1947,[2][3][4] and is now a division of radio broadcaster Salem Media Group. It is led by President & Publisher Thomas Spence. Regnery has published books by former Republican Party chairman Haley Barbour, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, columnist Michelle Malkin, Robert Spencer, pundit David Horowitz, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and his family, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley, and Barbara Olson.
There is money to be made selling moronic books to morons.

How are you going to claim that I'm wrong, while referencing "various theories." I'm not interested in the academic version of events. Booth was an actor, a.k.a. professional liar. What concerns me most is motive, and if you look at the history of presidential assassinations and attempted presidential assassinations, they coincide well with the involvement of International Banks.
Gee, why don’t you just say “it was all done by the Jews”

@Athias
I'm well aware of the process of amending the constitution. And ratification is completed when the Senate approves the resolutions of state ratification committees.
No you’re not. You said Congress passed the 13th amendment 9 months after Lincoln was assassinated. You said that because you don’t understand the process for amending the Constitution - even if you went and looked it up in the last hour.
Created:

@Athias
No. He was assassinated for opposing the third, correct me if I'm wrong, central bank charter.
Your wrong
There are various theories about Booth's motivations. In a letter to his mother, he wrote of his desire to avenge the South.[14] Doris Kearns Goodwin has endorsed the idea that another factor was Booth's rivalry with his well-known older brother, actor Edwin Booth, who was a loyal Unionist.[15] David S. Reynolds believes that, despite disagreeing with his cause, Booth greatly admired the abolitionist John Brown;[16] Booth's sister Asia Booth Clarke quoted him as saying: "John Brown was a man inspired, the grandest character of the century!"[16][17] On April 11, Booth attended Lincoln's last speech, in which Lincoln promoted voting rights for emancipated slaves;[18] Booth said, "That means nigger citizenship. ... That is the last speech he will ever give."[19]

Exactly. So how was he the person most responsible for getting the 13th amendment through Congress when it was passed by Congress nine months after he died?

What does that matter to the exchange we were having about Lincoln and the Civil War?

40% of voters support Trump. That 40% comes from the half of the country that votes Republican in any given election.
But if we were to form a new White Party, the party of White Grievance/White Supremacy, then the Republican Party would be gutted, and have just 10% of the national vote.
If the Republican Party condemned Trump for, you know, attempting a coup, Trump would leave the Republican Party and take his idiot voters with him and start a new party - the White Party.
Created:

@Athias
Ulysses S. Grant won the war, and the 13th amendment--which Lincoln did not publicly support--was drafted and passed through the senate before the Civil War ended. Go ahead, make this a contest over knowledge of historical events.
Grant won the war? Oh really? Is that how it works. I guess you think the President of the United States is a figurehead. Which General won WWII?
After signing the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, Lincoln championed a Thirteenth Amendment to abolish slavery permanently in the United States. The Emancipation Proclamation freed only those slaves in states still at war.
Please, we don’t need idiots giving their uninformed opinions on US History

Lincoln did not free the slaves. The emancipation proclamation was a tactic used by Lincoln to diminish the confederate army given that it only applied to the slaves in the confederacy over which, at the time, he had no authority. The border states were offered a compromise in that in exchange for their not declaring sides, they would be allowed to practice slavery under the authority of the Union. Try again, sir.
Lincoln freed the slaves by winning the Civil War genius
