After 3 1/2 years John Durham comes up empty on Trump’s claim of a Witch hunt
-->
@Public-Choice
The same thing is true about Sussman. He was acquitted of lying to the FBI.
Gee, Flynn, Manafort and Stone were all convicted of lying and you take that to mean there was no corruption. Then they were pardoned by the guy they were trying to protect with their lying. All perfectly fine for Republicans and their stupid, stupid voters.

Manafort also admitted lying to investigators and under oath before a grand jury about his contact with a Russian associate during the 2016 campaign.

The report isn't even out and you believe some op-ed?
The article is from the Post’s editorial board. They made the point that after 3 1/2 years John Durham took two cases to trial and lost both of them in short order. The FBI was NOT politically motivated in investigating Trump’s connections to Russia during the 2016 election. As you know, it is illegal and a National security concern to have any candidate seek or even accept help from  any foreign source, either a government source or private source. Many of Trump’s campaign staff had contact with Russians during the campaign. Trump fired James Comey when he wouldn’t give Flynn a free pass on his Russian contacts. Paul Manafort gave campaign polling data to a known Russian intelligence operative. There was the welcoming of Russian help indicated in the Trump Tower meeting. There was the Wiki Leaks coordination with Roger Stone. There were intercepted Russian conversations saying Trump was requesting back channel communications with the Kremlin before he was inaugurated. All this certainly warranted an investigation.

But you dummies are like it’s all perfectly normal.

“Ms. Scott’s Fox News — a sanctuary for conservatives where few unpleasant facts intrude and political misinformation has spread — also looms large in a case that threatens Fox’s business, and possibly Ms. Scott herself. She has emerged as one of the central figures in the $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox by Dominion Voting Systems, in which the voting company accuses Fox executives of juicing ratings and profits by repeatedly airing false information about Dominion machines siphoning votes away from former President Donald J. Bullshit. Trump’s 4 years in office was an abortion.

A few? Millions voted for Trump and he is right in the middle of this abortion hypocrisy.

Miller was a senior advisor to Trump. Trump supporters are also hypocrites for not objecting to his prominent position in the Administration.

Walker will still get the votes of thousands of Georgia Republicans. That shows they are hypocrites.

MAGA means Make Americans Get Abortions, when it involves a Republican politician.

Another result of this harebrained investigation, the FBI has now lost a credible intelligence source in Yurievich Danchenko, a Russian citizen who had provided useful information from his contacts in Russia. He was basically blown up for politics.

“Two F.B.I. agents have testified that Igor Danchenko, who became a paid confidential source, had provided the bureau with valuable information“

You dummies

It’s - don’t have babies if your poor. It’s called family planning. Use contraception. If contraception fails, get an abortion as early as possible.

Or, in the case of Herschel Walker, even if you have money, get an abortion anyway.

Also, when Trump’s senior advisor Jason Miller got his mistress pregnant, (she also worked for the Trump campaign), they fired her when she refused to get an abortion. He even tried to slip an abortion pill into her drink. That’s Republican hypocrisy at its finest.

The FBI does not look faultless. Most notably, the agency’s treatment of 2016 Trump adviser Carter Page was scandalous: The FBI provided false information and withheld material detrimental to its case in multiple court applications to surveil the aide.
Even this part is dubious. Carter Page had been surveilled by the FBI and a subject of the FISA Court long before Donald Trump was ever a candidate. So it was not a stretch to authorize surveillance on him again after he ceased being an advisor to the Trump campaign.

That’s because Page did business in Russia and had contact with several  known Russian government operatives.

“Since then, $5.8 million in taxpayer money has fueled a fruitless search for evidence of a hoax or witch hunt that did not exist. Two indictments, both flimsy, have ended in not-guilty verdicts. What has emerged more or less matches what Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz already revealed in his own 2019 report: There remains no reason to believe that the FBI’s 2016 probe was improperly predicated”

“The evidence stubbornly shows that the FBI’s inquiry wasn’t politically motivated, even after Mr. Durham spent so much money and so many months trying to show otherwise”.

So terrible, Congress mandated term limits so there would be no repeat disaster. But he died, and the economy recovered soon after.
That doesn’t change the fact that Americans elected him 4 times. So I guess he was popular unlike one-term Trump.

The economy recovered during FDR’s time. The war resulted in massive government spending. Unemployment was low and business was booming when he died.

The Cato institute is almost as bad as using YouTube podcasts for your news source.

“The Cato Institute is a think tank founded by Charles Koch, It is libertarian in its political philosophy, and advocates a limited role for government in domestic and foreign affairs as well as a strong protection of civil liberties. This includes support for lowering or abolishing most taxes, opposition to the Federal Reserve system and the Affordable Care Act, the privatization of numerous government agencies and programs including Social Security and the United States Postal Service, demilitarization of the police, and adhering to a non-interventionist foreign policy”

Saying the US meddled in Ukraine is a stretch. We let them know who we favored as a replacement for their corrupt leader who’s election was questionable at best. Thinking he was legitimately elected is like saying Putin was legitimately elected.

Also, I'll assume the Roosevelt you want is FDR, the man who literally imprisoned Japanese Americans and Italian Americans and had the same nazi-style crackdown on "dissenters" that Hitler had in Germany.
Oh ya FDR was terrible. That’s why he was elected 4 times. Trump? Just once, a loser for losers.

The Japanese internment was obviously a gross miscarriage of justice… that was upheld by the Supreme Court and had very little opposition from white America. What did your grandparents do about this miscarriage of justice? Anything? I didn’t think so. And Republicans would be the sort to not learn from that mistake and do it again in the future. Because they are dummies. Case in point - the way Trump tried to discourage immigrants and asylum seekers by separating children from their parents at the border.  A crime worse than the internment camps.

Crackdown on dissenters? What nonsense are you talking about now? Now I remember a Nazi-style crackdown in DC just a couple years ago by Trump so he could hold a Bible upside down in front of a church. Do you recall that?

The polio vaccine, including the one the you referred to happened way before 1955.

That is nothing remotely close to your argument that the Nazis had no welfare department.
The Nazis were not in support of welfare, which was your claim. They later decided it was politically untenable to not have any welfare (for certain people) and they discovered they could use welfare as a weapon by denying it to undesirables.

But it’s good that you are reading and from a credible source even. This is real progress for a Republican. I’m glad and give myself credit for steering you away from the rabbit holes.

So let me get this straight, you oppose PPP?
Where did I say I oppose the bailout? The bailout was necessitated when Trump botched the response to Covid.

I’m a supporter of Federal action like the way Roosevelt initiated a strong response to the depression. What I oppose is hypocrite Republicans who call bailouts by Obama socialism, but love them when they come from Trump.

How elitist do you have to be to not appreciate a tax cut when you see one. But oh wait let’s look at Joe. What happened to raising taxes on the rich like Dems have promised for decades.
A $100 tax cut for the poor and a million for millionaires is not a tax cut I would support. Only dummies would - and millionaires. And even with zero support from Republicans, Biden got some tax increases on the rich under the Inflation Reduction Act. Why don’t you know this? It just happened in August.

Republicans have ushered in double digit unemployment 3 times since 1980
Reagan - Deregulation leads to the S&L crisis. Largest bailout to date at the time. A recession that resulted in over 10% unemployment. Record deficits, he triples the National Debt by cutting taxes for the rich.

HW Bush -  A big recession and NAFTA is created which cost millions of American jobs in the coming years.

GW Bush - Deregulation and a lack of new regulation leads to the Great Bush recession and the largest bailout in history. We get over 10% unemployment again. He doubles the National debt from 5.5 to 11 trillion.

Trump - A trillion dollar deficit due to tax cuts for the rich is followed by a poor response to Covid and 16% unemployment. Another massive and even bigger bailout leads to a fiscal year with a 2 trillion dollar deficit. A record 8 trillion will be added to the debt in just his 4 years.

@ILikePie5
Bailout? PPP wasn’t a bailout. And even if it was, every Democrat voted for it to the best of my knowledge.
How is PPP not a bailout? It’s giving businesses money to keep from going bankrupt. That accounted for about 2 trillion of the 5 trillion spent for Covid relief bills in 2020. Trump also did tax breaks for businesses even if they laid off workers. Half a trillion went to the Federal Reserve to lend to corporations at near zero interest rates. The 600 billion went to the unemployed. 250 billion went to aid state and local governments to pay their employees.

“Stimulus bills approved by Congress beginning in 2020 unleashed the largest flood of federal money into the United States economy in recorded history. Roughly $5 trillion went to households, mom-and-pop shops, restaurants, airlines, hospitals, local governments, schools and other institutions around the country grappling with the blow inflicted by Covid-19”

@ILikePie5
False. Around 70-80% of Americans experienced a tax deduction because of the TCJA. Most of the deficit is boosted by non-discretionary spending like social security which we both agree cannot be cut.
This is such a stupid statement. 80% of Americans got a tax cut? And how much did that amount to in total dollars for the working class? So ordinary Americans each get $100, amounting to a fraction of what the wealthy got.

The budget deficits during the Trump years did not swell to 2 trillion a year because of non-discretionary spending you dipshit. It swelled due to the tax cuts, which in terms of dollars went mainly to millionaires and billionaires. Would you rather get the 10% tax cut of a guy making 50K or a a 5% tax cut of a guy making millions.  Trump had a trillion dollar deficit BEFORE anyone even heard the word COVID.

“As draft language of the bill made its way through Congress, lawmakers friendly to billionaires and their lobbyists were able to nip and tuck and stretch the bill to accommodate a variety of special groups. The flurry of midnight deals and last-minute insertions of language resulted in a vast redistribution of wealth into the pockets of a select set of families, siphoning away billions in tax revenue from the nation’s coffers. This story is based on lobbying and campaign finance disclosures, Treasury Department emails and calendars obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, and confidential tax records”

And if giving people money causes inflation, and Trump gave everyone all this money as you claim, then Trump is responsible for the inflation that followed.

Please try. Give the GOP another talking point lol. Fact is that voters care more about inflation and crime than J6. Womp womp
Republicans cheat. You guys have said cheating requires a strong response or you’re “not going to have a country”

Is that black crime? Remember, Jeff Sessions said there are two kinds of crime, regular and black. We would never have inflation during a Republican administration because the economy is always in crisis when they are in charge.

Trump - A trillion dollar deficit due to tax cuts for the rich is followed by a poor response to Covid and 16% unemployment. Another massive bailout (that’s 3 out of 4 for these Republicans) leads to a 2 trillion dollar deficit. A record 8 trillion will be added to the debt in just 4 years.

Obama's new Show “The G Word” Is Big Government Propaganda

The Mueller Report has since been revealed to be an effort to ruin the Trump campaign and his presidency.
That is also a lie.

When Trump asked Comey for loyalty and to let Michael Flynn go after he lied to the FBI about his conversations with Russians, Comey rebuffed Trump. So Trump fired Comey saying it was because he screwed over Hilary. It’s not normal to fire the Director of the FBI before his term is up without cause. Then Trump wanted to fire Christopher Ray too but people around him said that would be political suicide.

Trump is a subversive. Tearing down norms and institutions.

If you are referring to the Russiagate hoax, then that has long been debunked.
No it was not debunked. The Mueller report, the intelligence agencies, all agree Russia meddled in the election to help Trump. Trump welcomed their help. People like Roger Stone and Paul Manafort were working with the Russians. Trump pardon these guys in return for their silence. The meeting in Trump Tower with Russians was part of the process of Trump looking for help from a foreign power.

Russia definitely hacked emails and passed them on to Wikileaks to help Trump get elected and undermine US elections.

Russia funneled foreign money into our election including money to the NRA.

“A spokesman for the NRA and its lobbying arm, the Institute for Legislative Action, which together contributed $30 million to Trump’s presidential campaign, declined to comment on the FEC’s probe”

Eventually, Republicans on the FEC BOARD blocked the investigation. Trump was NOT exoneraged.

“It’s inexcusable that Republican commissioners would block an investigation into whether Russian money was funneled through the National Rifle Association to help President Trump,” Wyden continued, according to Newsweek. “The blatant partisanship is appalling, undermines our democracy and leaves us vulnerable to continued interference in 2020.”

Here you go genius. Your wrong. You should have learned this in the fifth grade. This is from the website Senate.gov.

Burning of Washington, 1814
[U.S. Capitol after burning by the British]
On August 24, 1814, as the War of 1812 raged on, invading British troops marched into Washington and set fire to the U.S. Capitol, the President's Mansion, and other local landmarks. The ensuing fire reduced all but one of the capital city's major public buildings to smoking rubble, and only a torrential rainstorm saved the Capitol from complete destruction. The blaze particularly devastated the Capitol's Senate wing, the oldest part of the building, which was honeycombed with vulnerable wooden floors and housed the valuable but combustible collection of books and manuscripts of the Library of Congress, then located in the Capitol building. Heat from the intense fire reduced the Senate chamber's marble columns to lime, leaving the room, in one description, "a most magnificent ruin." Quickly, President James Madison arranged for Congress to meet temporarily at Blodgett's Hotel when it returned to session in September, and the business of Congress continued uninterrupted. The following year, the Senate moved to the Brick Capitol, a large red-brick structure built to accommodate Congress temporarily. Not until 1819, after a major reconstruction project, did the Senate again meet in the historic Old Senate Chamber in the U.S. Capitol

This is an alternative fact that has never been backed up by any sort of survey, poll, or other statistically sound sampling of the Nazi community. In fact, many Nazis saw Trump as a "goyim" or an outright Jewish person and did not support him at all. Just look at this list of articles that Yandex pulled from neo-nazi and white supremacy sites on Trump:
I’ll believe the report from the Southern Poverty Law Center which has been tracking hate groups for decades. You believe your Russian misinformation site.

President Donald Trump blamed “many sides” for alt-right violence in Charlottesville, and the SPLC report says Trump’s presidency has emboldened white supremacists. “They believed they finally had a sympathizer in the White House and an administration that would enact policies to match their anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim and racist ideas,” the report stated.

Fun history fact, did you know the first polio vaccine was made wrong and 200,000 children took a defective vaccine?
If this was true, which I doubt, the fact you would call this a “fun history fact” shows what a moron you are.

Did you know that vaccines weren’t regulated by the federal government when this happened?

“The Cutter incident had an ambivalent legacy. On the one hand, it led to the effective federal regulation of vaccines, which today enjoy a record of safety `unmatched by any other medical product'. On the other hand, the court ruling that Cutter was liable to pay compensation to those damaged by its polio vaccine—even though it was not found to be negligent in its production—opened the floodgates to a wave of litigation. As a result, `vaccines were among the first medical products almost eliminated by lawsuits'. Indeed, the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program was introduced in 1986 to protect vaccine manufacturers from litigation on a scale that threatened the continuing production of vaccines. Still, many companies have opted out of this low-profit, high-risk field, leaving only a handful of firms to meet a growing demand (resulting in recent shortages of flu and other vaccines).“

Your comment about the Cutter incident makes Republicans look bad. They are all about deregulation and no new regulation. And without the federal government’s involvement in producing vaccines, the drug industry would not risk producing necessary vaccines. Ah Republicans, rife with ignorance.

You are so stupid you can’t understand the things you are reading.

There's at least 30 studies on vaccines that show certain types of vaccines are associated with Autism?
