@PREZ-HILTON
Does it really make sense to you that the POTUS spends his time thinking about and deciding which items are classified and what should be declassified?

Or do you think that is delegated to personnel in the intelligence agencies. Do you think Trump or any other President is an intelligence expert? Would it make sense for the President to declassify classified documents with no discussion, procedure, or even telling anyone else in the government? Does that seem likely to you? A system where the President declassifies top secret documents on his own and doesn’t even tell anyone. Do you believe that is the current system we have under Executive order? Or is this the likely system in place -

The legal basis for the classification system comes from the president’s constitutional authority as commander in chief. Presidents have established and developed it through a series of executive orders dating to the era encompassing World War II and the early Cold War. The current directive, Executive Order 13526, was issued by President Barack Obama in 2009.

The article is inadequate for the question you are trying to answer. Here is a link with a much more complete answer.

Apart from whether there is any evidence that such an order actually existed, the notion has been greeted with disdain by national security legal specialists. Glenn S. Gerstell, the top lawyer for the National Security Agency from 2015 to 2020, pronounced the idea that whatever Mr. Trump happened to take upstairs each evening automatically became declassified — without logging what it was and notifying the agencies that used that information — “preposterous.”

James Risch, R-Idaho. According to CNN, he told reporters, "The minute the president speaks about it to someone, he has the ability to declassify anything at any time without any process."

You dummy - they are reporting a quote from this dummy Senator. That doesn’t make it true.

That's the day of his firing. Four months after quid pro quo.
JC you idiot, the article by The NY Times was published the day he got fired. The article reports how Shokin was believed to be corrupt since he was appointed back in 2015.

You do know that the president can just declassify stuff on a whim. This came up previously when a president accidentally stated confidential information out loud, so it is really stupid to think he didn't just on a whim declassify the files he took as he left office. He doesn't have to do a stroke of a pen or anything like that, the president can just declassify whatever the hell he wants whenever he wants to.
That’s a lie. There is a process that has to be followed and it has to be documented. Don’t be an idiot.

Exercise your critical thinking skills. Read and be careful about where you get your information.

Why did they want him gone and when?
Since his appointment a year ago, (2015) Mr. Shokin had been criticized for not prosecuting officials, businessmen and members of Parliament for their roles in corrupt schemes during the government of former President Viktor F. Yanukovych. He also did not press cases for sniping by the police and opposition activists during the street protests in 2014 that killed more than 100 people and wounded about 1,000.

The United States and other Western nations had for months called for the ousting of Mr. Shokin, who was widely criticized for turning a blind eye to corrupt practices and for defending the interests of a venal and entrenched elite. He was one of several political figures in Kiev whom reformers and Western diplomats saw as a worrying indicator of a return to past corrupt practices, two years after a revolution that was supposed to put a stop to self-dealing by those in power.

NY Times, 3/29/16

In July 2015, shortly after his appointment, reformist minority member Yehor Soboliev advanced a motion to dismiss Shokin for corruption, gaining 127 of the required 150 signatures including several members of the ruling parties.[56] Representatives of the EU and the United States pressed Poroshenko for his removal,[2] as did the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.[3]

They did not, they asked for reform in the office he headed 2 months after the quid pro quo. Don't exaggerate. They did not mention him by name, for all you know they didn't even know his name. Senators don't have their own private intelligence agencies, they eat reports given to them by the likes of the US ambassador to Ukraine?
Bullshit. The U.S. State Department, the bi-partisan committee of 8 Senators, and our allies in Europe all wanted Shokin gone. It was not some plot by Biden. Read the newspapers dummy!

Him- She was specifically talking about the racists and the misogynists
You- that's not who she was referencing and you know it
Speaking at a fundraiser in New York City on Friday, Hillary Clinton said half of Donald Trump’s supporters belong in a “basket of deplorables”characterized by “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic” views. The quote was:

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton said. “The racist, sexist, homophobics, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”

Grey Parrot you are a poorly informed citizen. A typical. Trump supporter - dumb and proud to be so. Of course liberals look down on Trump supporters.
How can we not? You are racist, stupid, uneducated, incurious, and bigoted people.

In reality, she was probably being generous when she said it was only half of Trump supporters are deplorable. It’s probably more like 80%. And she left out stupid.

In the Information Age, ignorance is a choice.

Hilary is not a racist for calling racists deplorable.

Because racists are deplorable. I noticed you refused to say that. So you are likely not opposed to racism or maybe you’ll say racism doesn’t exist.

That's the definition of a racist. Someone you do not like.
Your  statement is incoherent.

Perhaps you are thinking of the word bigot. Someone who is intolerant of people who are different.

Hilary is not a racist for calling racists deplorable.

Is Hilary a bigot for calling racists deplorable. Maybe. Technically. But that’s not really how the word bigot Is used.

A person who is intolerant of intolerant people is not themself intolerant. The intolerance has to be UNREASONABLE to fit the definition.

Biden approval in the 30 percentiles. Only a crazy man thinks that number isn't because of a valid reason.
95% of voters are low information voters. Most Americans have no idea what is going on - in goods times or bad. They are like leaves being blown around by the wind. They don’t like it when things cost more. Well the fastest way for things to cost less is for some Americans to be unemployed. higher unemployment means less demand. Less demand means lower prices. Of course you can have strong demand if supply can keep up, but when supply comes from China and China is in lockdown, (and Ukraine is at war) supply is inadequate so prices go up, unless we can have some Americans ( you know, those other people) lose their jobs.

Reclaimed. You don't produce jobs in a recession.
Trump lost the jobs. Biden got them back. By one definition we are in a recession now even though we are adding 500,000 jobs a month.

Many said he was already dead, and so what, the Taliban owns Kabul. Thanks Joe.
Trump maybe thought he was dead, but Trump is a dummy. Biden found him and killed him.
Trump signed the deal to leave Afghanistan (and release 5000 Taliban prisoners up front) Thanks dummy

Record amounts of death with increased lockdowns and mandates (some unconstitutional)
Nonsense. 1 million Americans died of Covid. Is that the record amount of deaths you mean?

After quarantining those jobs and mandating people to get fired for not taking a drug that the CDC now says you never had to take anyway.
The CDC said no such thing. However, there was an acknowledgment that if Trump had done a better job we could have greatly reduced the number of deaths in the U.S. “There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially.”

Ended the War in Afghanistan

Liz Cheney was consumed by the monster she and her father helped to create - ignorance. They played to the ignorant masses and they were attacked by the ignorant masses. Dick Cheney lied about WMDs in Iraq and Liz Cheney supported Donald Trump initially. Now they both have been left at the side of the road, beaten and bloodied, and no one will stop to help them.

Why does Donald Trump plead the 5th?

@TWS1405
In September 2019, Knowles called teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg "a mentally ill Swedish child" on the Fox News program The Story. Fellow segment guest and Democratic Party activist Christopher Hahn replied, "You're a grown man and you're attacking a child. Shame on you." Knowles responded, "I'm not. I'm attacking the Left for exploiting a mentally ill child."[17] Hahn returned, "Relax skinny boy, I got this." Knowles promptly added, "She is mentally ill. She has autism. She has obsessive–compulsive disorder. She has selective mutism. She had depression." The network apologized for Knowles's statement by saying his comment "was disgraceful—we apologize to Greta Thunberg and to our viewers." Knowles did not apologize and Fox said it had "no plans" to have him on again in the future,[18][19] but the channel welcomed him back shortly thereafter.

Haven't been online to verify the veracity of it, but I see the left is in full damage control to cover up for Obama.

Now, now, don’t get excited LCpl. Just because you listen to podcasts to get your “facts” doesn’t mean you’re a total idiot. It just means you’re a moron. Plus the fact you would repeat something like that without trying to verify its authenticity, also shows you are a moron.

But you have heard a lot of things from Trump over the years no doubt, and that’s why you have such poor knowledge of facts. It’s a failure to exercise critical thinking skills. Do you know what those are?

Let’s see if we can make a list. It’s a long list.

Dinesh D’Souza - Plead guilty to making illegal campaign contributions. He returned the favor to Trump with the pro-election conspiracy movie 2000 mules.

General Michael Flynn - After Trump couldn’t get FBI Director James Comey to “let it go” and pledge “loyalty” Flynn plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with Russians. Before his sentencing hearing, Trump pardoned Flynn.

Steve Bannon - In August 2020, Bannon and three others were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and money laundering in connection to the We Build the Wall campaign. The defendants allegedly enriched themselves, despite promising that all contributions would go to building a wall. Bannon pleaded not guilty and was pardoned by Trump before his trial date. In 2022, Bannon was convicted of contempt of Congress and is awaiting sentence.

Paul Manafort - Tax fraud, obstruction of justice.

Roger Stone - Stone was convicted on all charges (lying to Congress and witness tampering),[207][208] but on July 10, 2020, his federal prison sentence was commuted by President Trump.[209] Asked for a comment after Bannon himself was arrested on August 20, 2020, Stone replied “Karma is a bitch…

Sheriff Joe Arpio - After a judge held Arpio in contempt of court Trump pardoned him.

Scooter Libby - Obstruction of Justice, lying to the FBI, perjury.

Congressman Duncan Hunter - conspiracy to commit offenses, campaign finance laws.

Charles Kushner - His son-in-law’s father who was prosecuted by Chris Christie. Fraud and perjury.
