What makes a person evil?
. . . A higher capacity/willingness for evil?
Some people 'would be evil, but can recognize said evil action would harm them.
They would 'potentially act evil, but the situation must be highly to their advantage.
Some people commit evil once or a few times. And are 'good actions the rest of the time.
Contrast that with a person terminally mean, but not 'evil.

Sometimes I'd like to create my own video game.
But coding looks complicated.
Maybe I could manage a board game though, pen and paper RPG?
Still, I've not been able to figure out a way to get 'combat to go as I like, entertaining challenging, different I mean.
Though about using cards and dice, but more choices, harder it is to easy access if it is 'physical board game.
More details, bigger the box gets.

Long running books series I enjoy worry sometimes, that they are going to end or mess up in a way I dislike.
. . . I suppose that's why I never finished a few of them.
There's a Sluggy Freelance quote I vaguely recall,
'Something about the last page of a book being torn out. . . I forget how it goes though.

The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart
I give a -3 out of 10.
Though in a 'sense it could be considered a good book, it is not the sort of book I like.
. . . I'd prefer the Underground Man to 'this book.
The Dice Man, a villain, who claims to be Egoless, yet has simply Ego inflated his value of Dice and Chance.
Like Loki, predictable in their unpredictability.
I like Eric in the book, better than the Dice Man.
Of course it is the 'bit of truth that bother one, that make awful evils at times.
But I am fond of Ego, and Social Norm Ethics/Morals, Nihilist though I am, a human must believe in 'something, value something.
Even the Dice Man does that, values chance and his various chance desires.
Values some outcomes more than others.
Though maybe he got a fair bit towards nothing in the end. Malfunctioning piece of carp.
I like loyalty, honesty, even if it's hard to keep up all the time.
I mind not the chance that I admire these. I admire them. One must be something.
Even in his tilt towards nothing in the end, he chose to value chance, Being 'Something Cannot be escaped while one 'IS.
I disliked how his wife later used dice a couple times.
Ought just take what accountability we can in life.
'Ought live right as best we can.
We can often follow the law 'and our desires.
I'd sooner throw this book in the trash than donate it anywhere.
More realistically, it'll go in my box of books I disdain.

I suppose one reason we have so many humans, is countries like having workers.
. . . We're 'getting better AI, better robots,
But we've 'already been replacing humans with machines for a while now,
. . . Does that imply our population could be considered 'much bigger than it currently is?
Ant lifts 100 times weight or something,
Humans use of machines, meaning we effectively have Population times X many humans?
. . .
I wonder if AI and humanoid robots will ever be more than 51% of a country,
AI and robots 'more analogous to humans I mean.
. . . Besides, a computer doesn't count as a person,
But then even a humanoid AI might not count as a person.

How does one make a dense, compact, yet lengthy Choose Your Own Adventure Book?
There's a limited amount of space available, yet if you put multiple answers on a page, then it results in spoilers.

Be better off using rammed earth and mud bricks, digging out and building up a slanted hill.

Makes sense.
I think this site 'could have grown in population though.
But I don't know what they 'tried to grow the site.
Well, 'if the site shuts down, and I had seen the last post X amount of time before I can't refresh the page, that theoretical post would 'likely be the last.

I don't really like the latest AOE2 update,
Partially because something is up with computer maybe, whole screen is darker now when I play AOE2.
The elite appearance upgrade was an interesting 'idea, but the more the game changes, the less it feels AOE2.
I'm doubtful the Romans were a good addition,
But speaking of the latest update, Three Kingdoms, I'd have rather had countries such as Tibet, and no 'heroes.
. . .
Yet I see 'some value in updating a game.
I didn't think much of Warcraft 3 Reforged, I prefer the older graphics.
But maybe there would have been something said for additional factions than just the 4, 'so 'long as they left the base game and multiplayer alone.
Haven't played Warcraft 2 online with people before,
I remember the campaigns being fun.
But 'might feel a bit limited nowadays in multiplayer, limited choices.
I don't 'hate the idea of updating old games,
Though I view it a bit more as getting 'new games when so much changes.
. . . 'Really new game doesn't 'need a total engine and graphics rework. Just new content.

Just saw a clip of the Office, that included Dwight's Gym.
Involved a lot of activities such as chopping firewood.
Not actually a bad idea, if one could make a 'gym of various tasks to be completed, that service some financial benefit.
Sure 'some jobs 'claim they are helping workers by giving them something physical to do,
But they can be inconsistent, too many hours, too much specific movement, back breaking isn't the same as gym.

I wonder how effective advertising on unrelated products is.
Make a cheap and/or good product,
Such as cookies or paper towels,
But have your advertising on the product.
. . . I suppose one could either make said product for a 'specific advertising, or sell the advertising space.

The Rose Tree
BY WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS
'O words are lightly spoken, '
Said Pearse to Connolly,
'Maybe a breath of politic words
Has withered our Rose Tree;
Or maybe but a wind that blows
Across the bitter sea. '
'It needs to be but watered, '
James Connolly replied,
'To make the green come out again
And spread on every side,
And shake the blossom from the bud
To be the garden's pride. '
'But where can we draw water, '
Said Pearse to Connolly,
'When all the wells are parched away?
O plain as plain can be
There's nothing but our own red blood
Can make a right Rose Tree. '

"Whosoever hath his mind fraught with many thoughts, his wits and understanding do clarify and break up, in the communicating and discoursing with another; he tosseth his thoughts more easily; he marshalleth them more orderly, he seeth how they look when they are turned into words: finally, he waxeth wiser than himself; and that more by an hour's discourse, than by a day's meditation."

I think I'm usually pretty honest.
I don't need to 'know the ends,
It's enough to have a probability, or an attachment to the ends or means. Deontological.
Though, maybe I also 'switch my reasoning and values a lot. . .
Use one standard here, another there.
Well, , , As long as I am honest in the 'moment, I suppose.
. . .
I don't think there's 'only "bullying, lying, deception and corruption."
But I'd figure it 'is a big part of life and situations where power struggles exist, such as politics and nations.
Even some 'work environments, though I'd consider such 'toxic.
I've had good work environments that didn't include bullying, lying, deception and corruption.
I think imperfect knowledge and sources, is better than 'no knowledge or sources.

I think American schools don't 'tend to currently be 'explicit about morality and ethics.
Kids are encouraged not to fight, bully, cheat on tests, clean up their desk area and sometimes classroom, to avoid careless sex and STDs or to at least use protection, to avoid drugs.
When taught history, such as Civil Rights, they see what our 'current nation values, how why certain changes came about.
. . .
But I don't think our schools are too 'explicit.
. . . America 'is a nation of many different cultures, many different values.
Though locale values, sometimes push the visibility of concepts, the 10 commandments in some places for example. (I've 'heard, but never Googled)
Were we a less individualistic nation,
Or more of 'one religion,
We might teach ethics and morality more, but I'm not sure 'what other nations teach.
