Voting on debates like this is difficult. You must set up goalposts, see who objectively wins on what goalpost, and then weigh and compare which goalposts are more important to topic. It is much more than just reading a debate, and when debate has this much characters and winner isnt clear, it takes a lot of time. Also easy to make a mistake in vote and forget to include some crucial claim/argument.

The argument is generally easy to defeat due to true dichotomy of human life either having enough value to exist either not. The first makes abortion wrong, the second would allow killing born people too. There is no logic which can make unborn not have enough value to exist while claiming born has, as the two are connected and killing unborn kills future born too. In this sense, one can either value human life or not value human life, and any value found in born is also found in unborn usually. The only exception could be body ownership, but if people owning their bodies has value, then abortion is wrong again because abortion prevents body ownership of all those killed by abortion.
Forum is generally better for a debate. Here in debate section, you can either make truism debates which are easily won by definition but which wont be accepted often, or you must fight voters constantly. The only 3rd option is to have judges on a debate, but that too is a bother. Forum is ideal, and most of debating happens there anyway. Sometimes I debate in debate comments too, but actual debates are so pointless. You literally waste hours only to get trolled by voters.
Or just make rule in description that only top 20 people on leaderboard can vote. No offense, but someone with 1500 rating has no place in voting on 1700+ debate.

Thats very interesting argument. Its true that people's sexuality can change over time, as brain can change. Thats why those turned on by rape arent usually the ones who had normal childhood. Now how much of sexuality is personal choice and how much is created by other people impacting person's life is difficult to say exactly.
When debate is moderated, voters do have obligation to not only read, but write a vote which includes plenty of stuff and goalposts from debate, or otherwise their vote gets removed. If debates werent moderated, less effort would be required, thus more votes.
I had serious debates and basically had to beg for days to get just 1 vote, but I do something like this and get 10 votes without ever even asking. Maybe because votes here are not moderated.
