Also, i have no idea what reality you live in. When people vote forfeiture, they didnt vote on the debate, they voted on the person leaving the debate. They believe (erronously) that to vote on forfeiture is to give credance to the other persons arguments or persuasion.

This is more a thought experiment than an actual discussion. People attribute omnipotence to God and say things like. "He cant make a 4 sided triangle." Or. " he cant make a rock he cant lift."
But really, isnt this silly? All he would have to do is change meaning of tri angle. And make himself weaker. We humans can do this. So why cant God?
Consider calvary. Jesus (who was God in flesh) couldnt carry his cross. Now under the idea of omnipotence, this is impossible. But we forget that power to be weak is also a power. We humans can do something similar.
We can lift weights and over time bench 175 lbs. But if we choose to not exercise or eat right for say, 30 years. We would be so weakened that we cant even get up cause we weigh 400+ pounds. Or the opposite, so fragile and weak, we break bones lifting over 45 lbs.

I think rating should be done away with as well. If your opponet actually flees, then you won. Because they recognize your reasoning as better. But this is rare. Most of the time people forfeit cause of rl, or they dont want to engage in it.

Of course it would be exploited, but the leaving gives no gain or loss for anyone. Effort into making an arguement rewarded? Truth is its own reward, if you know your view is true, it wont matter what the other person does, unless they debate all the way and covience you of a better method or a different point of view. And no, the person left standing at the debate table isnt the winner, only they are recognized for their endurance till the end. They win the integrity, not necessarily the better reasoning or proof of the debate.
Most might say the point is not so much for the 2 people debating, but for the audience. This is a half truth. Conviencing the opponet is worth the effort as well. If people agree with the reasoning and/or the opponet as well, then there is no loser. We can all walk away winning, because a lie was disassembled, or the greater opinion prevailed.
Points? Victory? Ratings? Vanity. Integrity? Truth? Worth fighting for and preserving.

Time, life and other things have caused victory and defeat for most people on here during debates. I ask that mods consider a rule to make forfeits to become unmoderated or not count unless agreed upon or mentioned in comments of debate.
Who on here has seen moderated debates on tv, phones, computer or irl? How often do people get up and leave those debates? Hardly any.
The integrity of the debate is to explain a view and attempt to convience others of it in a formal setting and approach.
Since formality is automatically asserted in debates (unless violates rules, or said other wise) why would we accept someone "leaving" as a formal victory?

The bible is clear about women. Also you will stop the direct attacks toward me. I expect a mod to behave maturely.
The women rule over children and submit to the husband. Children are not men and women. When a child grows up, then they are men and women. You need to understand categorical distinctions before trying to exegete.

Basically, the women only usurped authority over men when they were out of Gods will. Its not part of Gods divine providence to make men always rule. Thats our job to obey scriptures.
God never forces liberty on people, he enforces judgement. If we screw up and let women take authority, God will judge us, not force men to rule.

Its irrefutable that God shows mercy, as he could destroy all of creation and sends everyone to hell. So thats not the problem
The problem im seeing is the "freedom" of mercy being contested. After all, showing any form of compassion is showing mercy. But your understanding of his "freedom" of mercy, doesnt align with your pre supposed ideas.

lets reason WHAT mercy is to God and compare it to human morality.

Second. God made man to be the leaders, though he has used women when no man was avalible. A good example is deborah (see judges 4) and it was barak that still led the armies.
Thirdly, you can believe what you want. But catholicism doesnt lign up with sola scriptura (scripture soley or ownly) they added and took away from it, thus effectively denying Gods word.
Finally. You seemed to misunderstand what i said about tradition in reference to scripture. The traditions that paul spoke about? He said "written or spoken" so the letters are the traditions, Examples being 1st and 2nd timothy, corinthians, peter, thessalonians, etc. We all know that spoken traditions dont maintain integrity.
If you want to understand hermaneutics, you might wanna research scholars and those with doctorates in hebrew and greek, im not gonna try to explain how to exegete.

Lets take a look at church history to see what christians did in the past during a plauge. Or we can look at Jesus who healed the sick.
Here are 4 examples of what christians did. And just because we have technology doesnt mean we can sit behind a screen and call it keeping the assembly. If your pastor told you to stay home, then obey him. If not, then you can always have assembly at home or elsewhere.

I disagree with most of what you said. Culture had little to no impact in scripture. The bible tells us to be perfect (not sinless) and to disobey a rule is invoking disobedience to God.
God made rules to protect us, when we disregard them, we literally spit on God and disregard his loving protection. I think you should reconsider your view of scripture, as im sure you dont want to be judged as a hypocrite or an unbeliever.
