-Wylted refuses to apologize for lying and receives and 3-day ban.

-Others (Polytheist_Witch, ethang5, thett3, others) who have distrusted the Mod Team after previous dramas (RationalMadman's allegations of elo ranking bias, Mike propaganda jokes about the new announcement features) take Wylted's side.

-RationalMadman takes the Mods' side despite previous run-ins with them (I assume he realizes he was initially wrong about the mods).

-Other members also take the mods' side (including SupaDudz, Outplayz, me, and others).

-DrChristineFord (likely a troll account) accuses the mods of gambling

-SupaDudz picks this up, not realizing its falsehood.

-People explain it's false.

-The anti-mod crowd show up to the thread (including Wylted, who's 3-day ban is over).

-The drama ensues once again.

-Thett3 continues to fan the flames.

-RationalMadman continues to defend the mods.

-Bsh1 defends himself.

-Mike defends his mod team.

-Outplayz explains to SupaDudz that DrChristineFord was a troll account.

-SupaDudz understands now that it was a troll and the mods aren't gambling.

-Polytheistic_Witch calls Outplayz disgusting for defending Bsh1, she also lashes out against anyone who dares speak to her.

-Drafterman pops in to quickly give support to the mods.

-ResurgetExFavillla does NOT like RationalMadman, and attacks him for defending the mods.

-Ethang5 still does not trust the mods.

-Castin jokes about the situation.

-Wylted defends Mike but attacks Bsh1.

-I take the mods' side in previous posts and in making this thread.

Being God's people doesn't make one perfect, or even close to perfect. They are still humans who are just as guilty of sin as everybody else. So yes, they did need someone to whip them back into shape.

The verses were taken from Judges 21:1-24. Conveniently missing, however, is Judges 21:25. This verse says:

"25 In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

In other words, what was done was sinful, and NOT condoned by God or the Bible. The story simply displays the corruption of Israel at the time. This is a recurring theme in the Old Testament. Israel becomes corrupt, God sends a judge or king or prophet to whip them back into spiritual shape, and the cycle repeats itself.

At first I wasn't sure whether Disgusted was being intentionally deceitful, or just parroting someone else's deception; I initially gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, I noticed there were hyperlinks in his OP, and I clicked on them. They led to Bible Gateway with "Judges 21" typed in the search bar. This meant that instead of searching for "Judges 21:1-24" he had searched for "Judges 21". This means that he saw Judges 21:25 and chose to omit it when he C/P'd the verses.

That's dumb. One of the greatest features of this site are the forums. They allow socializing and discussion. This site would be nowhere near as as interesting without the forums. Take Edeb8, DebateIsland, and ForDebating as examples. Their forums sections were way less developed, so most of DDO refugees went here.

Call me crazy but I don't care what bsh1 said to Wylted. It was in a PM and outside of the debate (IF it happened). There's no violation of conduct there, and there's no automatic loss either.

I've known both Wylted and bsh1 for 2 years. I'm going to take bsh1's side here. Bsh is not the kind of person to send a PM out like that. Wylted, however, is the kind of person to stir up trouble.
