GOT ONEI would argue that white people think of indigenous Americans, especially those on the reservation, as a secondary class. This is proven in the amount of violent crime done to them, lack of social resources at a governmental level, and police killings. The phrase got one was the story of two guys in a truck, driving down the road, and threw an axe at an indigenous woman running away. Upon hitting her, they yelled got one. Indigenous Americans are put to the periphery and I can give you more personal, anecdotal, historical, or legal examples if you want.
That's pretty racist of you to think white people believe what you stated, tbh. The guys you mentioned seem like they need to go to prison for a hate crime though
Edit: The fact that this conversation of police shooting is focusing on black Americans, you bring this up about indigenous Americans, and this issue isn't discussed is itself proof.
It's basically to demonstrate that the disparities aren't necessarily a result of modern racism. The fact it happens to native americans more than african americans when it is clear that more racism in modern times would be directed at black americans than Native Americans is just an example to prove what I am saying.
The reason it is a useful example is because I am aware of the same thing all Native Americans are aware of. White society stole their land. America rightfully belongs to them. Of course they would be more antagonistic towards police and perhaps rightfully so. That's not any indication of modern police racism. Hell a lot of these police officers around reservations are probably also Native American and love their people, culture and family and may also share some negative feelings about whites stealing America, but are just doing what they feel is right in signing up to protect their community.
You say you will give examples, but you really aren't showing signs of structural racism. For example you mentioned some racist asshole throwing an axe. you mention disparity in policing outcomes.
I am going to make a guess. My guess is that people making less than $1,000,000 a year are more likely to be shot and killed by cops than people making more than that. Is your theory then going to be that the disproportionate police violence towards middle class Americans somehow means these blue collar workers are classist against the middle class?
What about the Japanese and Jewish Americans? Why are they disproportionately less likely to be shot by police than whites? Is your theory that police are less racist against Japanese and Jewish people than they are whites?
You seem logical in a lot of respects and you have spent other threads pointing out illogical statements I have made. Why is this a blind spot for you? Why do you have an emotional attachment to the belief that Blacks are poor, and helpless and police are a bunch of racists or are atleast culturally and systematically racist against blacks but hate native americans even more and are somehow Nazi apologists who are cool with Jews so shoot them less often than whites?

What do you mean by systematic racism?
Usually when people use the term they mean the system is literally set up to exploit or marginalize the group mentioned, which we would see by laws specifically being set up to do that.
So we have two theories here and you believe yours is more plausible.
My theory- Native Americans are more likely to resist arrest and do other things that put a cops life in danger. I did attach a plausible cause to this theory as to why they are more likely to resist.
Your theory- cops shoot native Americans, not because the cops are racist but because the legal/government system is racist against native Americans.
Is that a correct interpretation of your claim or am I misunderstanding what you mean by systematic racism?
I want you to know the term systematic racism is used different depending on what social scientist is talking about it. It's almost a meaningless term and I have to guess. There is other definitions of systematic racism, but most of those definitions don't contradict my claim of why native Americans are disproportionately shot by police.

Its usually not a gay relationship, but rather one of the men pretending to be a woman, and the other staying a man. So with that setup, it is still the man liking the woman traits of a man. Isn't the point of being gay liking masculinity, and not femininity?
This is true of every relationship. You need one masculine and one feminine element to balance it out. 1a. Five laws a year? Is that practical? What five laws passed during the last congressional session make the cut, and why does each of the other five not?
If they haven't crafted a perfect set of laws for the entire 200 years of the country than I don't know why blindly creating 1200 more is useful. Plus how do I even know if I am breaking a law if so many are on the books?
Quoting the Constitution is useless. First, promote the general welfare has been stretched to mean everything. Second, it's about interpretation, which the court rules on. Them quoting why they get to pass it doesn't matter unless someone contests it and then the courts decide.
It's a useful reminder to the people passing bills what they are supposed to be adhering to.
2. How do you measure freedom? I'm assuming you don't mean unlimited anarchy where there is essentially no state is good, so what's the benchmark?

It is quantifiabke and if not we need to make it quantifiable so that way we can make perfect policies guided by the philosophy. I think the concept of negative Rights is pretty perfectly spelled out. You can use the non aggression principle if you like. The government is essentially there to protect negative rights though. That is there only ethical function.
3b. In regards to your grocery example, wasn't that time supposed to be used for deep cleaning the store? Assuming that's true, is there a difference between a mistake and maliciousness?
I don't consider there to be a difference between a mistake an maliciousness. I expect perfect policies and if someone is incapable of doing that, then they shouldn't run for public office.

Simple bring it down to like 5 laws enacted a year. It is illegal in North Carolina to eat ice cream on Sundays. There are no need for laws like that to be on the books. The laws I would require to also have politicians literally read every bill they pass as well as make them quote the part of the constitution that allows them to pass that specific law.

So, the passage of COVID lockdowns led to suicides. The repeal of lockdowns led to COVID deaths. How do you weigh those against one another? Or more generally, how do you weigh lose-lose situations in general?
The passage of the lockdowns also restricted freedom, so I would consider it treasonous, especially with curfew in place.
It seemed to be more about tyranny. Let's use the following example. The grocery store near me was open 24 hours a day.
When COVID happened the store was open 12 hours a day.
Assuming they have 1000 customers it makes less sense to shove them all in the store at a tightened window than spread them out for social distancing.
So whoever created those curfews clearly wasn't concerned about anything other than a power grab. So they should be subject to charges of treason or have a lynch mob go after them

Depends on how bad and what were the motives you can infer. I would infer that if the results of a policy harmed a lot of people, they were intended to do so and the people creating the policy should be treated in response to that.
So for example let's say that their policies caused 3 people to die who had the policy not been indicated would not have died. Let's imagine we aren't in some scenario where losing 3 lives to save 6 is happening or anything like that

Let's imagine that declassified documents appear 30 years from now that show the 2020 election was stolen. Everybody who criticized the January 6 protest not regular citizens but media, politicians etc. Should be treated as have committed treason.
