Thanks for showing the full context. There is no way any intelligent person would interpret the first statement as advise about not getting vaccinated.
The second he appears to be saying some studies indicate more symptoms if somebody gets the flu shot after COVID-19 . He doesn't even say that he necessarily believes the study results, and even if we project that he believes it, he isn't stating the conclusions of those studies are necessarily accurate.
Nobody is listening to Joe Rogan for advise on how to handle covid-19. They aren't listening to him about diet advise or exercise advice. I don't think this guy actually endorses the opinions of his guests either. He just puts on people he thinks would have good conversations. He has had I believe a wide variety of people with various opinions on every subject under the sun.
There isn't a single person on this planet besides people that want to villainize Rogan, I guess for having guests they don't like on like Edward Snowden, Bernie Sanders and Alex Jones . I mean nobody should be interpreting that as advice not to vaccinate. It's certainly higher than 1%. The entire reason for the Fermi paradox is there is some very dangerous things that civilizations face.
AI is an existential threat, and not just for the obvious reason it could replace us. Google the grey goo hypothesis for just one example. Nuclear threats exist, global warming. The sun could literally explode and kill us at any second. The biggest risks come from ourselves for the most part.
Outside of ourselves, AI and natural occurrences like killer asteroids, we have the fact that the reason the universe is quiet might be because of a hypothetical thing like a roaming civilization that seeks out and destroys any civilization just before or at the moment it reaches a technological singularity.
We are constantly having researchers try to reach out to alien civilizations in the off chance a signal hits one, but they aren't considering that there could be a very good reason other civilizations have STFU. That reason could be a serious existential planet destroying threat.
The closer we get to a technological singularity, the closer we approach a planet destroying event.
One answer to the Fermi paradox is that we are a simulated universe, which could mean that if we approach a technological singularity it could cause us to use so much of the simulations computer resources we kill ourselves.
The threat to the existence of intelligent life on this planet is very severe, very real and very likely. We should proceed cautiously.

The violence in these communities as well as a lot of the lawlessness can be an impediment to getting good sleep or feeling safe walking to work and doing other activities that help people escape poverty. If you are white you are also more likely to know small business owners or be friends with somebody who does and is willing to give you a shot at a job you don't quite deserve. This is a benefit that can't be measured and what some might refer to as a white privilege, though it certainly wouldn't apply to all whites.

For example conspiracy theories ranging from GMO's that will kill us all to the propaganda that the 2020 election was stolen are having very real effects on the political process in the United States.
Several informal surveys and studies have shown that the politician most benefiting from these misinformation campaigns is Donald Trump.
Whether you like Trump or agree with his policies or not, I hope we can all agree that the United States would be better off if we can have elections decided by more informed voters who are capable of voting in their own best interests.
Certainly finding ways to make the public more media savvy as well as giving institutions the power to battle disinformation campaigns will create a more informed public who will be able to more effectively vote in their own best interests.

I don't really have any, I just enjoy playing with different ideals in my head. The more controversial an ideal the more fun it is to attempt to defend.
I probably have OCD which is basically a disease of uncertainty. I can't be certain of anything so constantly double, triple, quadruple checking if I left the stove on, same with locking the door. Slamming on my brakes randomly when driving thinking at any second a car will pull in front of me.
Constantly googling everything on web MD.
I also try to go to sleep after my wife and wake up before her in the off chance she tries to murder me.

I just saw a study that showed 75% of Americans would prefer a news source that was truly unbiased if anyone ever created one. This could be the public fooling themselves sure. Perhaps they are unaware that bias is unavoidable and the effort to pursue an unbiased position could in fact make a news source less accurate potentially, but perhaps they really would prefer news that is not sensationalism, that just gives dry facts and avoids cherry picking stories. A news source that is months behind the regular news just so they can avoid an emotional reaction in writing articles.
To me this indicates 75% of the population would likely agree of my definition of fake news. My definition isn't what is important though. Yours is.
However implicit in me saying that all news sources are imperfect are a few hidden premises any intelligent person could address whether they agree with the premises or not.
1. If perfection is impossible should it mean we throw away any imperfect source? After all, if we did we couldn't even have history books as all of history comes from imperfect record keeping.
2. How would we find objective facts from biased media?
I am sure there are other hidden premises that are also obvious and worth addressing

I think it was sometime in the early 1950s where the theory of relativity replaced it, although the theory does help with measurements on a smaller scale, we typically use Einstein's theories for space exploration because more precision is needed than normal.

yes, we need to bring the supply and demand for labor into balance. That’s how you stop inflation for any product or service.
You mentioned the things that caused inflation and it was things like sanctions on Russia. COVID protocols etc.
1. Why not just end the things causing it?
I think the depressing of American wages should certainly be the last option on the table if liberals want to claim they are for the working class and keep the support of powerful lobbying groups such as almost every American Union which make up millions of workers.
I wouldn't overfocus on the supply and demand framing of economics. The theory not only has a lot of problems, but it's generally just used as an easy method of helping children understand a complex topic. So supply and demand has a bit of merit, but when it comes to policy decisions, things get more complicated and some times you can see the predictions made using a supply vs demand model to predict the opposite of what happens in reality.

I would differentiate capitalists from capitalism. You can have capitalists without capitalism. These are the people who tend to gravitate to the top of the food chain no matter what the economic structure of the system. Jack Ma would be a capitalist for example. A little too much of one which is why the Chinese government disappeared jack ma, but he is a capitalist none the less.
It's true though that conservatives can hate capitalism while liberals love it and visa versa.
I am probably fascist when it comes to how businesses should operate. They should contribute and do what is good for American society, in my opinion.
What I am talking about here is actually a practice I learned about from studying under devout communists. They discuss what is called a capital strike. Where occasionally capitalists will go on capital strikes. They'll try to depress wages not only from the methods I mention but by doing things such as intentionally harming their own income by running on skeleton crews. They'll try to massively increase unemployment artificially because it gives workers a weaker position to negotiate salaries from.
The stuff you hear about a labor shortage right now is just another capital strike. They want liberals to be stupid and see it as a need to import more cheap labor. They also hope conservatives are stupid enough to fall for it and start pushing hard for work training programs etc.

Correct. One day I hope to start a news company that randomly picks articles to write using a random number generator and then have them just dryly state the facts in an unbiased way. Maybe give full context to things. So just do an aggressive deep dive into every event reported and only wait until after like 3 months of investigation to report the findings

I don't know that there is a good source. So I agree, but I would dismiss any source that is not completely free of any sort of bias or of unethical things like sensationalism etc.
