This is not a question of Wall VS Heat sensing cameras.  Obviously it's possible to have both cameras and physically obstructive technology, right?  Cameras do not catch anything in a literal sense.  The agents with finite resources do, and they need some amount of time to respond at the border.

I find the steel slat design appealing because I believe it is lower maintenance than a wall, and you can see through it.  This is significant not only in a fiscally responsible sense, but also in consideration that once the wall is built, it will serve for a time, aiding our response to unpredictable events in Mexico, independant of the current political atmosphere in Washington.  Most criminals will go around it I imagine rather than cutting through it, but it's hard for me to research this topic, that is the details surrounding the actual barrier, critical points, how the wall fits in with law enforcement strategies, how to work with land owners etc...

You are right about my absurd use of "equal" contorted to the context.  I guess, what does equal refer to?  Are men and women of equal value?  Yes.  Are men and women different?  Yes.

I would recommend trying out the NKJV, since you are coming from the NIV.  It's definitely worth the small investment in time, and it will be nice having two versions.  After you verify the authenticity, you can pick one up quite reasonably and you may come to your own conclusions.  I think you will generally have a little more care to respect the original texts with the NKJV, while the NIV seems to compromise a little more for general reading.  The KJV, although not perfect, represents a great undertaking in its translation, and has a connection to protestant American heritage.  I own three NIV at the moment, one in a parallel text, one I take with when I travel, and one pocket book.  It's okay, used on a regular basis.  I personally do not recommend it, but none the less, the one you have and get engaged in is capable of providing great service.

I disagree with his stated outlook that the president should not only be an honorable statesman, but also the virtuous royalty of the United States.  I prefer that people think of the president as being an ordinary, patriotic American, with their own experience and opinions, serving their country.

I am really not sure of the legitimacy of the investigation, since politically, it followed when the man famous for saying "you're fired", decided to fire the head of the fbi, and replace him with someone who is apparantly qualified, and doesn't appear to have any liabilities.

That said, they moved forward with the fishing expedition and that's the world we live in.  From where I am standing, we should make it very clear who is politically vested in a witch hunt and/or willing to use government agency to weaken the elected president, (a more serious offense then cheating or russian meddling) and also allow the investigation when it runs it's course to hold the president accountable.  After all, Trump can really not honestly claim to pocess integrity over some of the worst in washington, other than that he makes no allusion counter to his notorious reputation as a liar and a cheat, if that's what it takes to win.

Anyway, I think chanting nothing burger on behalf of President Trump doesn't do justice to the opportunity we have to examine potential political liabilities which may have influenced people to act so vehemently against him.
