I was hesitant to reply but am pleasantly surprised at how cordial this thread has been, so I'll give it a go.
I am someone who follows his own ideology and moral compass but I heavily link to Taoism in my thesis. When it comes to evil, I tend to become more ruthless with the more evil types but at some point, it's sometimes better to flip it around.
If someone is super nasty and lashing out at everyone it eventually is better to be kind to them and show some compassion, it depends on the context. A significant teaching in Taoism and my own philosophy is to go with the flow of the situation and act in a balanced manner that will best achieve harmony as the long-term (not necessarily short-term) result.
Sometimes you do have to become a brute to the other brutes, for longer-term harmony. At other times, you need to be a nicer person who is kind.
The main focus in Taoism and my own philosophy is to be kinder to the kind, as opposed to meaner to the mean. It's much more about positive reinforcement than negative combatting but combat is inevitable and unlike Buddhists, Taoists are allowed to at times be aggressive in response to aggression.

Remember one thing, what you attacked Pie for was his freedom to vote for who he pleases, what I attacked Airmax for was genuine questions and claims that he could reply to and defend against if he so chose. Pie can't defend against you when you say his reasoning is a lie and really he's just a traitor to freedom of speech when there were other things to consider. I am also not anti-freedom, real freedom means disciplining those that will bully the free away.

This is the tactics his side will resort to.

Good question, while I can tell you the point to answer each and every question I've asked him during this election cycle, I can't for the life of me find much reason to answer your own questions or respond to your attacks anymore. I've already exposed what you're doing and how you are bullying me, it's up to others to realise it and decide. What you wrote is much more accurate for me vs you than Max vs me. I actually ask Max solid questions that would have real replies to them if he wanted to defend himself, they aren't loaded they are open-ended with genuine ways for him to pick a stance and reply.

I think I had accidentally found DDO a couple times before I 'found' it as I was an avid debate-loving guy growing up and probably read a couple DDO debates prior to joining (though back then it wasn't like the biggest, there were other websites with better material to arm you with pro-con on a topic). However, I only joined a website like DDO later on when I, like Castin and Zedvictor4, actively searched for a debate-oriented website/forum.

This is why I was amused when you said I lacked tact in my campaign thread, not sure how to not word this personally but you're not the best at it.
In the first statement you first of all used a trigger-term that solely implied the only problem would be rape. The latter statement doesn't make her feel objectified by the person saying it because the person never says she is 'hot' instead focuses on her being single and female and does so after making clear there's many issues indeed, we could even be talking anger issues that don't at all have a sexual aspect to them.
Edit: She probably felt objectified by you and, as you said, like you'd implied it's a general rule.
I also think, sorry to tell you, you're not the best reader of people. So, while she probably did receive you badly, what she was waiting for was you to explain it and justify it (depends on the woman ofc, some would freak out and not care how you explain it and honestly if I were a woman and you randomly told me that as why not to foster, I'd also get the fuck away from you as I'd smell toxic troll from a mile away even if that smell wasn't entirely accurate). You want to talk about wording and advice, do not ever go up to somebody whether male or female and say 'don't do X, you'll get raped' even if it's a dressing style and activity you fear they will get raped in which is a lot more reasonable than your fear in my opinion. Word it slower, build it up and allude to it, this lets the receiver not only realise it themselves but makes clear it's not that you see them as 'ooh you could be someone people would rape' instead it completely changes the tone to you caring for them and worrying about the situation they are being put in.
