Remember When Trump Deployed The Mother of All Bombs?
-->
@TheUnderdog
Rand Paul, son of Ron Paul, has a very naive outlook.

You can't possibly think US could have instantly pulled out of the Middle East once ot had already fully stuck its 'foot' in. That being said, the way they handled each nation so far has been absolute garbage in yerms of strategy. They just invade, overthrow, maybe bomb, then leave. So not only are lives lost and PTSD caused (both for Iraqis and other middle easterners as well as Americans) but the Middle East is worse, not better, thanks to this 'heroism' the US claims to have and do.

@3RU7AL
Rich people suffer immensely from pressure both peer based and parental/familial based. Harsh bullying and taunting occurs within rich families towards one another.

To suggest that they don't suffer just because they're born into financial wealth is a sign of very low EQ.

No it’s not, let’s say your dealing with a lunatic whose goal is to kill 100 people are you willing to be transigent in regards to your views and say he meet you halfway with 50? I sure hope not, same thing applies here, I refuse to negotiate with a bunch of looneys, miss me with that.
I personally would be open to asking that question to the 'lunatic(s)'. The reason is that it may somehow spark a dark humour kind of laughter in them and build rapport, allowing for further understanding and communication.

Just my two cents. Also, it is still objectively less negative if the latter happens than the former, even though the latter happening is still well over the 'tragedy' and 'horrific' mark.

How many people want to be lawyers on this site?
-->
@TheUnderdog
I am not going to tell my profession or whatever on this website in any significant depth, there's clues here and there to what I'm not ofc but I like to separate my real life from this account while also not living delusional that I can regularly participate and not be someone people are curious about.

I am neutral on being a solicitor, lawyer, barrister, attorney or anything along those lines.

I educate myself on the law regularly, especially for the nation I reside in. I believe everyone should do so, no matter how corrupt it is, since knowing the law is important in situations where morality has become grey. You need to know what the law is, that's all I will say.

You cannot plead ignorance in a court unless it's an extremely unreasonable law and even then most nations don't give enough power to a judge or jury to overthrow based on common sense interpretation, some do though and if you are fortunate enough to be in one of those nations it's still essential and good to know the law.

I'm not suggesting everyone study to the level of a lawyer but if you're going to live your life in a nation and want to ensure you are not in any legal trouble or that further down the line one of your choices you're making right now in life can't be jeopardised, pay attention to the law. The same goes for your nation's economy and general trend in industries, both economy and law matter in your career and banking decisions (or should, if you're paying enough attention).

I don't care what crime you've committed or what excuse you think you have. When you end up in a court room and lose because of incompetent representation know that you had the option to represent yourself in almost all nations that I'm aware of. That one right is so universal because in all nations it is known to be unfair on you to take away your right to be your own lawyer.

Whether you like politics or not, educate yourself on law and politics in your nation as well as the economy. Your literal future life situation can depend on it (and you won't know until it's too late unless you paid attention).

Black Power Manifesto...The Devil You Know
-->
@ebuc
If he is serious and wants all to move to Southern states, what exactly is his endgame? Does he think all black people like and will help each other? That's as racist as looking down on them because it implies that an ethnicity is destined to always have each other's backs against the others.

Blacks can be corrupt and betray each other just as much as Caucasians and whoever else. I think he has underestimated the deep hypocrisy in his notion as it implies something that is inverted racism regarding 'all blacks being united and benevolent' for his endgame to pan out.

If you want, I will challenge you to a Rated debate on this, so that it's actually worth the effort to me in some shape or form.

You too often troll your way out of situations with me on the forums.

Chinese citizens commit suicide at a rate that isn't even known because they are like 'dirt' to the government there, they don't record all suicides at all and all stats from China are censored.

I have no clue what you're even trying to suggest either, since both Chinese and American culture has a huge amount of dissatisfaction among the populace.

It doesn't. The citizens in China are scared and oppressed, worked to death without any compensation even if
they lose a limb due to terrible factory safety conditions.

The fact this place calls itself left-wing and thinks it's not a corporatist dictatorship is the most absurd aspect of its politics.

My main concern with a wealth tax
progressive tax is already done by extremely successful nations such as those in Western Europe, East Asia (not China or North Korea but the others), Canada, Australia+NZ, South Africa (but it's not properly enforced) and some others but mainly the regions I just stated. The US is largely similar to South Africa, since they are supposed to have progressive tax yet barely enforce it on the top bracket.

Actually, it is fascinating why even to this day in 21st century, 2020-2030 decade we still can't ever get a live photo or video feed from satellites that would prove exactly where they are in the sky vs us on Earth (especially in the southern hemisphere since this is quite different on flat vs Round earth).

I am talking about the accuracy of Google Maps except live, where we can wave up and prove it's there as well as zoom in and out to ascertain the shape and scope of Earth vs the region it zoomed in on.

Why China is superior.
-->
@Unpopular
It is 100% a Japanese proverb. It refers to "Nanakorobi, yaoki" which was an ancient saying amongst the Samurai which the Ninja also picked up in their training mantra. The idea being not just to persevere but that even if you're guaranteed to lose, you stand up and take it like a champ because staying laying down and being defeated anyway isn't worth any respect or value in Japanese culture.

The Spanish never had such a saying until after World War 2 where a lot more about Japanese culture was discovered by the Europeans.

@Greyparrot
Actually, China used to aim precisely for a life where all are fulfilled. It did so by embracing Taoism. Instead, it moved away from Taoism towards Confucianism (which is much more materialistic and stoic). The major issue with this newer mentality and approach was (and is) that people with very little feel shit.

There are still Taoists in Japan, they exist as hermits and villagers, as well as Buddhidts of a similar approach and ethos that exist predominantly as villagers also or Shaolin monks. The rate of suicide amongst them is nearly 0%, whereas the rate of suicide amongst the materialistic Confucianists and atheists is much higher.

There is something that doesn't make sense to me
-->
@TheUnderdog
Do note that the term 'Communism' when Marx used it wasn't what it has come to mean and represent now.
I think it kinda does.  Name 1 difference between marx's communism and modern communism.
So, in case you're confused the word 'Communism' became redefined by the right wing (and now the general world as a whole) to mean the violent and tyrannical enforcement of severely Socialist policies.

The term 'Socialism' came to mean the more passive idea behind it.

Originally Marx saw Socialism as the period that leads into anarchy where we share and care (which is what he saw as true Communism) but the term was altered.

I have discussed with you before what motives, means and opportunity there are if space travel is indeed a hoax. Each time, you get angry and then go out of your way to anger me because you feel offended.

Unless you're an astronaut, you don't know. Even NASA engineers can easily (and I mean easily) be kept out of the loop making calculations for the sake of it, not knowing it goes towards nothing more than perhaps robotics. Only the astronauts themselves and a few select high-ranking officials (as well as less well-known string-pullers) are in on the lie if it's an actual lie.

You also need to understand the lengths they'd go to, to keep the lie going. There have been astronauts claimed to have died on missions are in fact alive under aliases and sworn to secrecy:

^ despite concluding the conspiracy theory is incorrect, this is a great overview of one particular crew claimed to have died and fairly conclusive evidence that they're potentially living out quiet lives under aliases.

All nations and all companies have to have the explicit permission and overwatch of NASA on their projects. Only Roscosmos has special privilege to do rogue missions in space and they were in on the lie with NASA from the beginning anyway (if it's a lie).

I will explain to you what secrecy and authority are, in this context.

Do you know what an audit is? I don't mean a government-sanctioned financial audit of a government-run agency. I mean a thorough third party audit. This has mever ever been done and will never be done to NASA or Roscosmos because they're both entitled to the highest security clearance of their nations. I'll discuss the moon landing with you hut evenant round earthers propose it was faked, so why specifically go for that?

If science finds out that our personal experiences don't reflect the true nature of reality, then we should accept their theories since their experiments are better than our own.
NASA and Roscosmos are not science, they are top secret government agencies with extreme authority and discretion who say they are conducting scientific endeavours and experiments.

All other space agencies have to get full permission and hand over authority to these two agencies (mainly NASA) for what they do in space. China growing plants on the moo  (supposedly) required NASA's permission and observation every step of the way to ensure it didn't interfere with satellites and such (they say). You need to get permission from NASA for the UN to grant your nation permission to research space.

Grasshoppers Save Humanity?

@ebuc
If you are on a desert island, the insects can indeed make a good source of protein as long as you cook them well to kill off the bacteria and viruses residing in them (bacteria primarily). That being said, learning to fish from the nearby ocean is a better way to go about things if you don't need to hide. Even though we are land mammals, fish are extremely good for us, it seems Darwin's theory has grounds to it (that we all evolved from sea creatures).

There do exist people with allergies to fish (extremely strong if you do have it) however, there exist none with general digestive intolerance to them. Fish doesn't mean the shellfish or squid-like seafood, which we can be intolerant to.

We are extremely built to benefit from fish (unless we have the severe allergy) and the reason why doesn't make any sense unless our species evolved from something that relied heavily on fishing (or indeed dwelled within the sea itself).

One counterargument to Darwin's proposed path of evolution is that humans had to be near water sources in ancient times, which automatically meant we always were near fish even though we were land-dwelling. This definitely has some grounds to it and explains how those that digest fish well passed their genes on.

Do note that the term 'Communism' when Marx used it wasn't what it has come to mean and represent now.

Why are we banning wylted?
-->
@Theweakeredge
I would just disengage at this point, if I were you.

The question posed was regarding why Wylted was banned, to which you and I answered and Lunatic has gone out of his way to character-attack us and cherry-pick each long reply we make for snippets he feels he can find fault with (which he does with extreme confirmation bias at play).

The only reason you are still replying is either that you think understanding can be found between you and him or that you're falling for this 'don't stop replying or you're a coward' schtick he's got going, which is fucking ridiculous considering that the mods themselves aren't replying to him yet he feels you and I owe him some kind of special attention and effort.

The reason I am advising you to disengage is that at this point, we have both clearly stated the answer to the thread's question. What's happening now is they (mainly him but anyone with an urge to post here) are trying to push until we say something easy to sidetrack the entire thread so it maintains more attention than it deserves.

This theory is partially proven wrong, since my like-count increased to 28 since making this thread (from 802), I don't still understand how some are getting so much more than others but it may in fact be due to the 3RU7AL recently began liking every post he sees, so recently-starting posters get better ratios overall, or posters who stick to forums where he resides.

I don't really understand how I could raise this issue or question without mentioning a user that I believe is a major factor in it, either way.
