I am willing to lynch Pie here. Crocodile is uncc'd for NK and it would be a hardcore gambot that mafia NK-bus'd the partner (it may be possible as it works as a hitman kill probably).

I am miller in the ohase before. Tbe two cards I have in this day phase combined with what I jave observed in people mentioning their hands imolies that afger day 1 no new cards entered the community cards or hands. We aren't dealing with a game of 54 reshuffled cards, I think that cards die with people and that there's a mechanism to calculate the cards in others' hands. The two cards in my hand today strongly imply this to me.

It asks what you rhink things are more than should be. It's a ridiculous quiz. I have cracked how to get each and every political alignment on it, it is flawed. Round 3
Stevie Wonder - Pastime Paradise
Originality 17/20
Great stuff and this was not normal back then for anything. It has elements of all kinds of genres fused, this isn't fully soul, blues, jazz or anything it's a very original track but when we observe the repetitiveness of it... Yeah, that's its only downfall.
Obscurity 6/20
I think that this is a very well known track amongst those who have any interest into the related genres but it deserves above 4/20 with a 2-point boost because I am sure that many people who otherwise would have found it simply assumed that Gangster's Paradise was an original track in and of itself with no sampling.
Aura/Vibe and how it makes me feel: 17/20
I don't feel super chill while listening to it but I do enjoy it quite a bit.
Quality of lyricism for the Genre: 20/20
This is far more lyrically developed in every single regard than any soul, jazz, blues or funk song of the era and that's for certain. It has slick flow, rhyme scheme consistency and the contents are very deep.
Sexiness/pleasure of the Voice and instruments to my eardrum AKA Delivery: 19/20
It's very good, great even but there's just some kind of offset between how harsh the voice is vs the instruments and this is supposed to be a chill track not upbeat but honestly it's extremely pleasurable to listen to and does qualify as chill in a passionate sense.
How relistenable it is: 18/20
I don't listen to that much at all and it isn't my cup of tea but when listening to it there is 100% something that draws you to listen again and enjoy it all over again the second time and the times after that. It's not a hateable track, just not superb enough for a 19 or 20.

Round 3
Roy Woods - Why
Originality 12/20
It's kind of generic mumble-esque rap and just a chill hip hop type of half RnB half Rap fusion and honestly it's not bad but it's not super original that's all.
Obscurity 4/20
For what it is, it's very famous. It's not so famous that it deserves sub-4/20 but it is kind of a bad choice if obscurity was the aim.
Aura/Vibe and how it makes me feel: 19/20
Chill as fuck. Impossible to not slow down as you listen to it.
Quality of lyricism for the Genre: 9/20
It's lazy but to be fair I left it as an RnB track, not a rap for this ranking. It has flow and the rhyme scheme isn't terrible but the contents? Meh.
Sexiness/pleasure of the Voice and instruments to my eardrum AKA Delivery: 15/20
It's alright for sure but not the most spectacular. He has a nice voice and it does indeed chill me out.
How relistenable it is: 16/20
If you're in the mood for that type of chill track, it's for sure reslistenable but it's very dull in some ways and I suppose it's hit or miss whether it's your 'thing'. It's not my 'thing' but I do chill out to it and would listen twice easily if I wanted to really relax to an RnB track.

Round 2
Carbon - Crystal Skies
Originality: 5/20
This is a run of the mill 'smash your eardrum pierce your soul' dubstep piece. It has a tiny bit of originality in that it isn't a super common buildup but that's about it. I listened to it high quality in the Spotify (Premium) and it is harsher (not better) than the YT video quality. This is a sign that the artist is trying too hard to blend in with a dubstep addict crowd, not branch out in an original fashion.
Obscurity: 17/20
This doesn't seem to be super well known for the genre or even for the artist. It's decently obscure without a doubt.
Aura/Vibe and how it makes me feel: 2/20
I hated this. I am not a fan of dubstep in general but this was just beyond unbearable to my ears when it became intense and was played at the high quality 'loud' volume that it clearly was designed to be played at. I am not a hardcore raver, this is not my vibe and I do not dance to this, I cover my ears. It only scores 2 because it qualifies for the theme as I know a hardcore raver will somehow dance to this.
Quality of lyricism for the Genre: Lol.
Sexiness/pleasure of the Voice and instruments to my eardrum AKA Delivery: 15/20
When the extreme drop robot humping dubstep sound isn't there, I actually do enjoy the song vibe-wise. If I am ready and willing for the brutal drops it actually is pleasant but that's not my style yet if it were my style I can see why I'd enjoy it.
How relistenable it is: 10/20
I could listen to it again if I was into that stuff. I am not at all into that stuff. So...

Round 2
Kid Cudi Ft. Pharrell Williams - Surfin'
Originality: 4/20
Extremely generic. Kid Cudi is one of the most unimpressive rappers ever in my eyes, he loves to repeat generic lyrics and 'rhyme for the sake of rhyming' at times with extremely meaningless lyrics that is half mumble-rap and half lyrical shallow generic stuff. Pharrell Williams is much better at singing than rapping, I am unsure why he is trying to be a rapper but his lyrics were stronger than Cudi's and this song made very little sense to me as in what was the vibe? It was neither happy, sad, angry, calm or anything it was some hybrid mood, tempo and everything.
Obscurity: 0/20 Just... How can one call this obscure? I thas 36.6 million view on Spotify alone and the Music Video has 14.8 million hits. This is with there being a second version available in Spotify that goes on longer. It's not obscure whatsoever and body artists are 'famous'.
Aura/Vibe and how it makes me feel: 10/20
I can understand why someone would like this song. For me it's too repetitive with literally the same cycled beat, melody and tempo throughout. If it had more variation I could get behind it.
Quality of lyricism for the Genre: 8/20
There are moments where things that don't even rhyme at all are said after each other even though the placement in the flow means they had to rhyme. The entire content of the lyrics is generic, shallow stuff that Snoop Dogg's generic ghost writer could have come up with and written with more flow and better punchlines. This is score 'for the genre' and it actually deserves lower than this but I give it 8/20 because it's also Pop and not just Rap even though Wikipedia says it's [Hip-Hop] Rap.
Sexiness/pleasure of the Voice and instruments to my eardrum AKA Delivery: 15/20
Kid Cudi usually have an extremely annoying voice that is hard to enjoy but in this song he somehow made it pleasant enough. It wasn't hard to listen to, just boring.
How relistenable it is: 11/20
I understand why others would enjoy listening to it twice for sure, it's replayable for many but for me it's boring on the first listen and harder to bear on the second and third.

Tsunade brought out the best in her as did Sasuke leaving. I think when Sasuke left, she began to realise that her life didn't revolve around attracting boys anymore. The Akatsuki had the best and the worst characters. Nagato was an overrated crybaby in my eyes, Tobi/Obito (who was actually letting his body be controlled by Madara and both were actually posessed and tricked by Black Zetsu) was basically an overpowered supervillain who gets to play the antihero only because Uchihas were slaughtered. If It wasn't for the Uchiha Clan being taken down, in a parallel reality where Uchihas actually ensued in the civil war against the Uzumackis and really did fight to take over Konoha I think you'd realise how utterly psychopathic and unlovable Madara and Obito were (especially Madara more so than Obito) but because they were victims even to Black Zetsu in the end, you never get to truly loathe them and this in turn makes you fail to understand how ruthless and problematic the Uchiha were that drove the assassination order that Danzo and the Hokage gave to Itachi.
Created:

Itachi would be my #6 but that's more of the influence that I feel Kisame had on him than necessarily he himself. Kisame and Itachi had a very strong bond.

What do you mean by narrowminded? Sakura is one of the only reasons that people didn't stay blinkered in how they saw and dealt with Sasuke upon his return. Konoha forgiving Sasuke was almost solely down to Sakura's defence of him.
Created:

- Kakuzu
- Danzo
- Kakashi
- Sakura
- Kisame
I'd probably list those as my top 5. Itachi (the perpetrator and victim of the Hokage who Danzo served under and which admittedly Danzo was part of the strtegising force to eliminate the Uchihas) is not a hero for eliminating his family to save Konoha, he is a hero almost entirely because in spite of the order, he not only spared Sasuke but went to extreme lengths to help Konoha still remain safe by being a double agent inside Akatsuki reporting to Danzo from time to time. Sasuke isn't a simple crybaby on the matter, he's portrayed wrongly as an emo, he's instead a rage-fuelled short-sighted individual who understandably has daddy issues given how his father only appreciated Itachi. I resent the Uchihas in general, they represent extreme right-wing ethos both in how they use their powers and how they treat their siblings, children and whatever else but Itachi was certainly an enigma not just for an Uchiha but for ninja in general.
Obviously if this was real life, someone slaughtering their entire clan just to stop a civil war would be seen as unforgivable but you need to understand some things about the Hokage and hierarchy inside Konoha before you blame Itachi for what he did. Even Danzo gets wrongly blamed for the elimination of the Uchiha, it wasn't his idea he just agreed to it because his idea was actually to recruit some Uchiha to Root (not just Itachi) and to make them cause the most aggressive Uchihas to fail. I know that I am reading in between the lines and I don't deny that Danzo was ruthless but you need to comprehend his character and the pain he had in life always being overshadowed by others and misunderstood before you call him a straight up villain. Danzo always acted in Konoha's best interests, the only time he ever waivered was when asked if he wanted to go on a suicide mission and it turned out to be a bluff mindgame by the Hokage who was cruelest to the Uchiha and that is how the next one ended up becoming Hokage. Danzo was toyed with, overlooked and underappreciated much like Sasuke was but unlike Sasuke he never betrayed Konoha or ditched his buddies.

Round 2
The Beach Boys - I Get Around (Remastered)
Originality: 9/20
This was a very ordinary song for the genre but it did have some uniqueness like the 'ooh-ooh-ooh' and general melody being not so close to other songs.
Obscurity: 1/20
What exactly do you want me to say here? This was one of the greatest hits of the era. If you ignore that it's remastered and look at the original and if you knew that era of music, you'd not score this above 1/20 at all. It's only 1 and not 0 because I think that the new generation don't know this song super well but will still stumble across it at some point probably.
Aura/Vibe and how it makes me feel: 16/20
It does decent to get me moving but 'dancing' requires a more passionate piece that's less 'smooth' than this. There was no 'whiplike' movement with the pacing or intensity that is required for a dance piece. It doesn't make me genuinely move much but it definitely makes me move a little and is dancable to. I dig it for what it is and it definitely is a hit.
Quality of lyricism for the Genre: 13/20
It's okay in this department, but 'okay' is all.
Sexiness/pleasure of the Voice and instruments to my eardrum AKA Delivery: 18/20
Very pleasant but not deserving of higher. For instance it 'lacks' a layer to the music, I feel. It also could use better variation rather than literally repeating over and over. Nonetheless it does please my ears a lot.
How relistenable it is : 16/20
One thing about this song is that it hypnotises you to a degree. You can't deny you don't hate it when you relisten to it. It doesn't massively entice you to relisten, it's kind of boring but it's a hit and there's no denying it.

We are very different people. To me Nagato is such an overrated villain in every regard. He was just so undeniably powerful that he became a major character. He and Gaara had similar backstories though, they even look similar. They represented loneliness of an emo kind while Kakuzu and Danzo represented loneliness of a self-strengthening kind and were lonely even when surrounded by others which was a crueler loneliness than Gaara and Nagato experienced, both had close friendships of a genuine kind at some points in the series whereas Kakuzu and Danzo were genuinely deeply scarred by constant underappreciation and in Kakuzu's case severe betrayal.
Created:

@Crocodile
I like Kakuzu, he's my favourite character who I feel had far too little screentime and emphasis on one of the most epic antihero/antivillain tales in all of Anime history. Sakura is someone high up on my list of favourites though but I like Kakuzu and Danzo a lot. Kakuzu and Danzo were extremely misportrayed by the series, they were fabulous antihero/antivillain archetypes.

Round 1
Seven Lions Ft. Fiora - Days to Come
Seven Lions Ft. Fiora - Days to Come
This wasn't really my style but the vocal elements were pleasant.
Originality: 14/20
While it was original in its own way in terms of how it built up the melody and transitioned from one beat and melody sequence to another (and back again), the general techniques used were typical to any medium-to-soft dubstep song and this was hardly phenomenal for the genre in any respect. That said, it was not your 'typical' EDM song, it was something in between chill and intense and that earns it the score of 14/20 overall.
Obscurity: 14/20
It involved 2 artists and both are in their own regard having a loyal fan following so would have found this even though Fiora is only featured in it. It's not super findable though and certainly isn't as popular as some piece but it's hardly that unfindable that it would have earned a 15+ score here.
Aura/Vibe and how it makes me feel: 11/20
There is nothing special about this song to me. It's good background music though and doesn't deserve sub-10 score. I'd say if played on lowered volume it's alright but the issue is that the intense parts don't allow it to stay as background music and that's always an issue I've had with dubstep in general.
Quality of lyricism for the Genre: 12/20
This is ordinary for the genre but it does have alliteration and a nice 'flow' to the lyrics while they're delivered earning it 2 above the half-ways mark.
Sexiness/pleasure of the Voice and instruments to my eardrum AKA Delivery: 12/20
It's alright in this regard but the problem it has is that the chill parts are marketed to a background music vibe while the intense parts make it impossible to ignore. I dislike dubstep and find it very harsh on the ear but this was soft enough for a dubstep piece that it wasn't unbearable.
How relistenable it is: 9/20
I could listen to it again (and again) easily but it's very boring to me during the calmer parts and unpleasantly intense (because it's dubstep and that's how the drops always are) during the intense parts. It was unwise to use dubstep for me, I am not sure where Speedrace thought I like dubstep but that said it was a very good piece for what it was.
Created:
Posted in:
Also, leave it at 4 people on Speedrace, not 5. We want to make sure Oromagi didn't bluff, just for the sake of it. It's possible he bluffed and Speedrace will self-vote to cover the tracks of whether or not it was a bluff (and would do this even if Oromagi wasn't his partner, to frame him). Either way, all others leave it at 4 and see what happens.
Created:
Posted in:
I think we outed everything that had to be outed for town's benefit. Anything more that gets outted here benefits mafia more than town.
Since I believe in Oromagi's claim that he has double vote and it's extremely easy to test it (unless his partner has the double vote and votes on the bandwagon in a very strange roleswap) and it therefore takes only one vote on a town individual for him and his partners to pile on and lynch (though they won't do it so obviously 3 equals 4 if he has double vote), I therefore am willing to vote Speedrace to end the day fast and lynch a guaranteed scum.
I still stand by this being less optimal than lynching Oromagi but there's no other choice.
Unvote Oromagi

All town players should sheep this ASAP and reveal nothing more about their hands but only about their reads.

Crocodile or you. While you are helping town there is something extremely off about your temperament this game, you are too friendly and attentive. I do know that you know about poker but I do think you are the type of player who may not have thought to explicitly tell your partner(s) what cards to fakeclaim with as you're a very 'each man and women for himself/herself' ethos person.
Created:
Posted in:
I still want Oro lynched. It is even possible he asked Speedrace to outwith a blatant slip-hand in order to take a 'hit' for him as this day phase he'd got a good hand. Of course this is presumptive and it's entirely viable that Speedrace accidentally slipped but I just don't understand why or how Oromagi can be town.
Created:
Posted in:
VTL Oromagi
I don't see a reason to vote Speed over Oromagi because I am likely 'eliminated' by next day phase.
I want to use this opportunity to get Oromagi out and then town can safely lynch Speedrace and move onto the third (given that Oromagi said he thinks there are three and that I also think there are three and Oromagi rarely lies unnecessarily based on his very logical playstyle, I think there are indeed 3).
