If oromagi is phil hellmuth then the characters are definitely linked to personality. I genuinely am not saying it as an insult. Phil hellmuth is incredibly skilled at cataloguing game progress and situations like oromagi does. There are less redeeming features of him though, I will not deny it.

Yeah and the joker made everything completely free-win today for town. This is an unbelievable boost for town.

No we lynch press who thought we all had been assigned roles. Only mafia could think that.

Phil Ivey is a player you can't really describe the playstyle of. If you watch him play you'd understand maybe. Just search in YT his highlights. He is like an x ray machine in reading people but also human calculator.

Tom dwan is the most gambit-heavy player in all of the big names of poker tbh. I wonder if he has fedor holz. Fedor holz is my alltime fave in recent poker times but johnny chen js the best aggro player on par with dwan (I think chen is smarter in his risks but dwan reads people like a god)

Everyone listen to me. We, as town, have jad the simplest start ever. Bet and bet again. Simple. Joker guarantees noone becomes miller.

Btw I am jonnie/johnny chen. He js an OG literally among the first sharks ever. I like this character and think bullish rigged it to please me. It's possible he has matched olaystyles to personalities since characters aren't linked to roles. Johnny Chen os a very Gambit-heavy player, tom dwan isore so amd vanessa selbt is too. All other players are more safe styled but dan negreanu and phil ivey are very odd hybrids.

Everyone bet and keep mouth shut about your hand. Joker made this a very townaided start. All bet.

Press didn't know that town don't have roles. I can't discuss PM structure but I'll say we don't have roles as a fact.

Ok I have a terrible hand I am sure I will lose but it seems betting costs nothing?

Characters are not linked to alignment or role, we are just playing the game characterless basically.

Of course. In such debates both are arrogant.
Asking a debater like Bsh1 not to put 'Vote Pro ooh lala' at the end of every one of his debates (with an explanation of how he 'objectively won') is like asking a ballerina not to do that extra spin and super sharp toe-point just to flex on someone.
Some people enjoy the show, some like it grimy with taunting, prodding and brutal ad hominem. Others like it tame and docile. Some like it in between. You like it tame and docile (actually you don't, you just filter your aggression through carefully chosen veiled harshness and instead of arrogance you have condescension).
In the end, we all pick our poison. If you come to a debate site only to play nice, you aint built for this shit G.
You can ask Eminem to 'play nice' but it just isn't possible for him to shine in that style.

Some of us are Rottweilers, pit bulls, alsations and such.
Some of us are cockapoos, welsh corgies and golden retrievers.
You don't ask the former to play as gentle as the latter, nor do you demand the latter to be as rough as the former. We are what we are.

I'm more of a 'pattern and theory' intelligence type than the 'fact memorising machine' intelligence type and the fragility of knowledge and how the sources are maintained is part of why I am so happy to have been naturally inclined to this form of using my intellect.
While I know less than the latter type, what I spot helps me 'piece together the puzzle' so much faster and with less effort than them. For instance, let's say you know that group X had a rivalry with group Y and later on you were curious why group Z had a certain attitude or habit. You go to Wikipedia and it wrongly portrays Group X but correctly explains that Group Z were allies of Group Y. You then can begin to understand more even if records are harmed about group X (not entirely but partially) and that's all I need, generally speaking. Do I need to know every number of every factor involved? No.

I actually agree with you on this one. I don't use Wikipedia much at all in my debates (only when it really is the best source for an 'overview' quote).

The fact that Warren was so extremely towny indeed did help them win. Warren played so brilliant that I did actually townread him but the nature of bussing is that on initial correct read, you townread the bus relationship.

@Speedrace
you have a very poor depiction of the game because, and that is no polite way to say this (but you were not at all polite or a good host pregame, during or after the game so what do I care?), your MVP and LVP is so skewed that it's hilarious.
Pie was an extremely important instrument in town coping when navie Oromagi suddenly goes into some kind of tunnel vision where he thinks that the scanner results of what could be complete bullshit from a Mafia member, suddenly are the entire way to structure who is lynched. It was Oromagi who talked Pie into thinking this way just the same as he talked Pie into steamrolling me day one. The fact that you rank Oromagi MVP is too hilarious considering not just his play quality but his fucking barbaric threats/jokes that are beyond forgiveness. Even if you played like a god but got sent off pitch with a red card, you don't then get MVP. Oromagi was LVP in every way other than participation level.
Yes, I am angry and biased but that anger and bias is due to how LVP he was even in conduct.
You lack the ability to put yourself in others' shoes, this is extremely clear when the only metric on which you judged mafia being 'god tier' was two very specific things that only worked because town didn't question them on it.
I even noticed how Press and Warren were weirdly at each other's throats and I did indeed think Warren easily could be scum but I also knew if I dared say that even post-lynch it would ruin everything for the game's progress. I knew for a fact that press had to be interrogated and so did Oromagi, after all Warren was only scum in a bus drama if Press was the other scum.

If your characters dont relate to their roles what is the point of having characters at all? Your game is flawed like speedrace's game is but at least in your game it's stated pre-game to be that way so we know for sure.

I did help town by not claiming, the mafia killed survivor (who I had spotted and knew had a major spotlight on him in the eyes of anyone less observant than me on what he was saying about Oromagi and the survivor role) due to me not outing and letting them smartly use strongman power on me.
Created:

I agree with Pie on something, this was bastard modding on many levels. There was not even anything remotely consistent about how characters related to their alignment or even roles. How the fuck is Warren's char a strongman? How can Corvus Glaive be on opposite team to Thanos? Stupid. Idc if you say 'themeless' it's STUPID.

Oh yeah I knew supadudz was survivor, he softclaimed it in many ways when he retorted my thirdparty read on Oromagi, I kept it to myself hoping mafia would NK him as he was towntelling too and it worked.

Warren played very well, Press was transparent scum all throughout.
Oromagi was scummy as hell for a town player, the rest doesn't surprise me much.

There's no way to get negative elo ever, all systems have a cal of 0 there. Typically tbe maximum elo possible is double whatever the default Elo is. There's no true maximum but it ends up being the fact that around 1.5x the standard Elo, you find no consistent winner amongst the group amd if there really is a kingpin powerhouse, they still struggle to find WILLING opponents to face them anymore who are high enough elo to gain them anything at all. This is the key point. People were scared shitless of Kasparov, it's why he began to get elo-capped even though he wasn't losing, people just avoided facing him in general. Oromagi is this site's Kasparov.

Firstly, I am not denying Firefox is a great browser. I am extremely skeptical of the VPN though especially if it's free.
Secondly, Google paying Mozilla to make their default search engine Google is not the same as the two browser rivals being aligned, it's a vicious rivalry that Firefox and Chrome have.

The word in Spanish, for 'balls' in the way you put it is:
los cojones
the term 'big Kahunas' doesn't refer to a multiple, it refers to having big authority in and of itself and is from a Hawaiian term for a Shaman who is particularly respected for his/her wisdom.

That source ranked Microsoft Edge above Google Chrome as a browser. It is blatantly sponsored by Firefox to write that review and they paid extra to rank Chrome lower. There is no way on Earth that ME is superior to GC as a browser.

Use any source you want, just make sure you understand how others see them. The highest rated debaters often used Wikipedia as sources in their debates.

I think that more modern one's hairdo and facial hair/piercings etc are, the harder time they'll have blending in the past. Whereas the more generic or flexible and 'unique but not in an irreversible way' one's things like that are the more they can blend in.
What I would do would depend (and this is not a joke) on how nearby I turn up to a hairdresser, salon, shop with a mask in it or anything of the sort. I would need to move Fast and have in-hand something valuable enough to them that they'd help me without telling a soul what they'd seen. The past was also unforgiving to weirdos far more than it is now, so I'd have to look extra normal vs whatever look I have now.
If I don't turn up near to one, I will have also brought with me a weapon that I was ready to toss aside fast and if need be I'd use force and speed to make my way undetected around the place. Law enforcement then was less developed than it is now and they'd never ever let a time traveler live in most places, you'd be hung as a witch/warlock/demon etc. even worse you could be burnt alive or tortured for information.
I'd need to get into a very quiet area and would rub dirt on myself and rip my clothes and then rub dirt on them to appear homeless (homeslessness was very common in older times and I'm assuming we're not going to 'recent past'). I'd blend in at first and endure any level of headache and hunger, my knowledge from the present time is going to make me have such a huge edge over the other homeless people and even normal citizens that I can begin parlour tricks and con my way like a gypsy towards some level of basic income purely from how amazing I will seem. I will need to stay lowkey and if possible make a deal with a circus to be an act there. It will be a relatively fun life, I may even reproduce with someone and who knows? Maybe my own descendant was with me in my original timeline and maybe I even met them and just never knew.
Continuing from the first scenario, if I was able to alter my appearance into something normal and respectable and assuming I was (hopefully) in an English-speaking area or somewhere that at least wouldn't treat a foreigner too hostile if they spoke English or didnt speak their language brilliantly (this doesn't mean I don't, it's just to avoid doxxing I am assuming I speak only English IRL), then I'd make my way through somehow. I'd meet someone, try hard to mimic their accents. Back then it was far more normal for strangers to interact, there weren't smartphones or much migration overall so them seeing someone they don't recognise at all would in itself perk their interest. I'd pace myself well, meet the right people worth trusting and tell them a version of the truth that I'd feel suited them without making them feel I was a demon or some shit like that. Then, I'd help them a lot with my futuristic knowledge of how to clean things, build machines, use tools and whatever else and maybe even tutor them or younger relatives of theirs to help them with their grades as I'd have futuristic knowledge and what's hard math and science to them would surely be easy to me, so I'd stick to those topics. Assuming that all goes well, eventually I'd meet the right people in the science department and reveal some version of the truth to them. If there was no such option available, I'd live a quiet life, thank the people I befriended for keeping my secret and just make do.
Both scenarios end similar, it's about survival to me.

Having experience as you do with the poor, you'd know they are by and far less lazy than those born rich and they're working day in day out for tiny pay that they can barely live on.
The fact you call them lazy ingrates tells me the kind of travel you had was clearly limited to five star resorts.
That aside, you must realise that most of the other rich guys and girls don't give generously to charity as you do, so clearly we can't leave it up to them.
