Liaison is the open communication between the Discord mods and DART mods, it's literally not possible for a person to be it. They are Discord Moderators who happen to be in liaison with the DART Moderators. You could even argue calling them Discord Liaison Agents is acceptable.

Don't make threads intended to mock and ridicule other threads. Don't make threads where the only legitimate reply to the thread's OP would result in degrading other members and/or their contributions to the website.

I just surrendered and gave my number. Discord is basically the only way left to PM people I wanna stay in contact with online that works both on a phone and computer and isn't fucking Skype.
Skype is owned by Microsoft, all your data is sold to the Illuminati regularly and IP leaks on skype are a real thing, never trust that shit.
Google Hangouts are dead. G+ is defunct, you reveal your real email with every new contact you make on it now, pretty much and if not yet, it's only a matter of time until that happens. Also, due to G+ dying out, less people use the Hangouts, which makes it a defunct means to chat to strangers and friends online anyway.
FB IM is literally dox-worthy in how it forces you to reveal your real info, same with Twitter.
Thus, it's worth to sacrifice my privacy with Discord. The most I believe they will do is sell my usage data to gaming companies or their tech team, which is totally fair enough. As long as you keep your head down, Discord respects your privacy.

As I have said, Coal has said, and was indeed clear in the opening post of his thread, its purpose was to mock the awards threads and hall of fame threads. I thought it did so effectively.
Then the motive was at the very minimum to insult and ridicule all who took HoF and DART Awards seriously, most of all the ones who made the threads and came up with the ideas. Do you go to a Temple and mock the statues and ceremonies there? If you do that and think they won't be insulted or punish you for it, you're just plain ignorant and too belligerent to belong in a debating shrine like DART. If you don't, give us the same respect for our traditions, thanks.
Also the 'just kidding' excuse is covered entirely by the such-named clause.

The main issue is that the deputy mod and one of the two voting mods are not who I want in charge but even so, this is far better than what we had before. Just sit back and enjoy it for a bit. If you are genuinely confused about the nature of Coal's thread being definitively identified as toxic and the only motive anyone could decipher from it, in the mod team, was that it was there to incite people to flame others and hurt their feelings, then go ahead and provide a reasonable counter-motive for the thread, instead of demanding others to justify the obvious to you.

Let me preface this by saying this is not a shot at the GOP specifically. The point Im trying to make here is more encompassing: that politicians in Congress just don't know how to properly bluff or pick their battles wisely anymore. This is just the most recent example that took place that clearly demonstrates the case that I think will help spark a conversation about this.
Well, it's the GOP candidates who never ever did know that. They are bloodthirsty warmongers both among their own candidates as well as the world as a whole. They pick battles for the sake of war itself, not to win or improve anything.

Let me explain something to you:
When people complain about your grip being too tight, if you simply loosen it and surrender to them you then will be accused of being a useless waste of space who simply is running an anarchy. Slowly, over time, you end up with a post-apocalyptic Religion Forums section of DDO as it is now and/or a CreateDebate environment, both of which are full of vitriol, bullying, doxxing and all sorts of shit. When that happens, you can't ever gain respect back from the userbase, because all the sane and decent ones left the website meaning you're going to be hard-handling users who are enjoying the vicious anarchy where they can freely hurl abuse.
If this endgame isn't to your taste, you should stop looking to what people are saying and instead to why they're saying it. The people who have accused you and bsh1 of being heavy-handed have been blatantly valid and blatantly invalid depending on the situation and reasoning they use. Listen to that, find courage to go via your internal moral compass and stop cowering to everyone's will. You are the alpha here, take the reigns.

There is now a way to split your notifications up by the type they are in 'Activities'.
Sides in a debate finally state what they are, not just relying on colour. This is a massive improvement for any blind user on the website who would have had no way to know for sure which side was which via a text-to-speech reading software, of course it also helps the colour-blind to not have to strain their eyes. In fact It seems fonts in general have become easier to read, perhaps a slight boldening to all text has occured or slight font-size increase.
Instigator and Contender also don't alter when Pro and Con do, this is very correct except that Con is meant to mean 'Contending side' so Prop vs Opp would be a better dynamic but this suits the userbase's current linguistics in debate, perfectly well.

A user who is blocking you has an orange icon like a person holding a padlock where the 'online' icon or Moderator Crown icon would otherwise be.
You can see mention-count and the approximate time when a person made their first post (but if it's over a year it's rounded down to the year amount since the post, which a very thick approximation margin).
Efficiency percentage [ (topic-count * 100) / post-count ] has been deleted as a leaderboard metric.

Green text for 'Online', on your profile page if you're online, that becomes a plug icon top-left of your image on the forums.
At the bottom of the forums page is a notice to read CoC but it doesn't go away if you've read it (probably should do that and link it to if the CoC medal is been activated or not).
Not sure what else has been updated, the 'release notes' state nothing for 3 months.

The problem they have is that Virtuoso knows deep down that I would be the most skilled investigative moderator but that my means would be much more CIA than FBI style and that's hard for him to tame or justify to the public. He also won't trust me with personal info about people (IP etc) because I am unpredictable to him. Little does he realise that Ragnar is not quite the angel that he thinks, but I trust that Virtuoso is only selectively letting Ragnar access such data.

I agree entirely, I was referring to the Code of Conduct when I pointed out that this is a call-out thread, that it should cease and that you are an alt of a banned user or current user in my estimation.

Cross-thread contamination is when a user brings up disputes elsewhere on the site up in an unrelated thread for the purpose of harassing, mocking, or insulting another member. Treat every new exchange with a member with as much of a "clean slate" as possible.
