Judge Debates are different and should be entitled to their own standards of voting. Not only is it unfair how it rigs the voting (which on DDO was an issue because it affected the same rating) but it's also unfair to enforce in something like an arranged off-kilter voting system such as this debate:

Actually this is a huge thing I noticed many sites forget; not everyone wants the logo or credit for donating. This is actually increased to 'not want' if the logo and credit exists (it gives people an ego rush of how humble they are by not having it).

I think that we define 'dishonesty' very differently. Your definition is far looser than mine. You consider honesty as a necessity (as in withholding information and not making it public, to you, is dishonest) whereas I am more towards the privacy-side of things (asking your friend to vote on your debate, so long as you do not at all insist they owe you a vote or need to vote on your side, and telling no one about it is to me still honesty because you don't need to make what is private public unless it gets investigated).

I think that since we define the words different and have a different concept of what snooping and privacy are worth, morally, that you then are calling 'dishonest' what should only be labelled that if we exist in a sort of utopia (or dystopia) where everyone spies on everyone at all times but the spying tech and system of recording aren't perfect and not 24/7 so that there's still ways to hide things. In such a society, the hiding of information that isn't asked becomes more like your outlook; dishonest.

I am with ethang here, you need things only the paid can do to truly motivate it while minimalistically sacrificing a tiny bit of the storage they pay to fund, in exchange. GIF profile pics and stuff like allowing them to including images and embedded vids (which also can be justified as you doubting the loyalty of those who don't pay and fearing they'll post inappropriate images and videos) is entirely the way to go.

On DI there is an unspoken about bonus with how it allows you to gain points for posts at a higher rate than free users but absolutely the logo and aesthetics is a bare minimum. Allowing more profile customisation and perhaps separating bonuses for what people pay for is a fantastic business-model. As you can see from REF's reply, genuine mercy and morality are things his crew hate in a mod. That's why they loved Airmax. Airmax gave mercy proportional to the user's popularity. I waited so long and got busy IRL that I was left with barely any time to format my arguments well and post it. Yet, when the iPhone vs Android debate came and he forgot it, I agreed to tie. I didn't even fake kindness by posting an argument so he'd be forced to agree to delete the debate, I took a tie to a much lower ranked debater that's hurt my rating. He's also one of the fools who voted wrong in my sun set debate resulting in me failing to beat a semantics troll because people don't process logic correctly other than raltar.
