Okay so before I go into a taboo aspect of last of us here is what I have read about episode 3:
An elderly gay couple commit mutual euthanasia (dual suicide) because they're about to become zombies. I guess there are 3 aspects there for the right-wing to dislike, the third is a more subtle idea linked to abortion.
The real taboo in last of us is that an older man and younger female become like stepdad and daughter and endup intimate in the game to my knowledge. By intimate I do mean full on physical, to my knowledge though they don't undress them fully in the game or there'd have been more talk about it when the game was still hot.

Men, all men no matter what, start at trash value and need to crawl their way into high value status. Money is not the main factor whatsoever.
Women typically start just below average because of the fact they are drawn to feel included and desired by even their female peers and parents and develop traits that make them de facto near medium value already once they hit 18. The standard they are all held to, though, is how desirable a partner they are relative to their gender.

- Creative, intelligent or both.
- Sexy, as in eye-pleasing, ear-pleasing, nose-pleasing and the way he carries himself at times has you wanting him to aggressively do things to you.

For women:

- Popular or at least sociable if naturally introverted.

No, he is invading the entire Ukraine and has terrorised the people so much that all children and nearly all women and elderly men have fled.
The men remaining trapped are either going to fight or game ended up captured and forcibly turned into Russian residents at gunpoint if they were there in the already captured regions.
The reason Ukraine has a Nazi movement defending it is that Hitler offered Ukraine independence from Russia, the Ukranian people existed and wanted their own land long before Soviet Russia even.

I can understand the reason to be against these stripper shows being exposed to young audiences.
I do support very liberal sex education though. Lust is a part of life and society, the more armed anyone's offspring are on how to do it safely and what it is and how to not need to do it by self stimulating, the less the chances they ever end up with an unwanted pregnancy, hopefully no STI or STD either, ever.
It is smart, strategic and an inevitable reality that their peers and their own hormones once puberty kicks in will drive them to get urges and curiosity and either you guide their discovery before anyone can corrupt it or you pretend we live in a fairytale and they will not get corrupted elsewhere.
There is directly negative correlation in the rate of STD transfer plus unwanted, especially teen pregnancies and frequency of exposing children and teens to stratified sex education in the schooling.
They must know and understand the world and their bodies, otherwise they may not even realise what an abusive molester has even done to them or that they themselves did absolutely nothing wrong but should expose them. They need to realise it is not taboo to discuss and share advice and experiences, it is just a bit weird and it is the acts that make things truly inappropriate and immoral, not the urges.
