I would imagine there's a lot of people in the US cross the streets when they see black kids, or hoods anyway, or whatever you might call them. This is a hyper-individualistic world, we're all against everyone else in everything, for grades, results, women, everything. And the average person grew up in their own little bubble, had nothing to do with slavery, and is just trying to get along, and probably feels pressed upon by black youths, and resents that. And next thing there's a politics of giving things to these people, scholarships, opportunities, money. You can empathise with that too. The world's a bit shit tbh. Philanthropy's for bored rich people.
But the black kid has it worse. He just does tbh.
Funding for outreach programs. Affirmative action kinda dealies. Real opportunities. All of that would go a long way. Affirmative action would obviously want to be properly managed and not just about having a token black guy in the class, rather set up for his success. It should all be personal level stuff, not systemic bullshit. I dunno, this stuff seems obvious. I don't even think you need much of a plan in it before it starts being good. But how else do you raise someone up? 2 generations a freed slave isn't much. We're only a hundred years free of the English, we've a thousand songs and poems about it, it's deep in our psyche, but we have our own country, our own people, we're not living amongst our former antagonists a second class citizen, lesser in a thousand ways. I'd bomb something new every day tbh lol. I dunno.
I think once you've an eye to see it, it's easy to see that's there something wrong. But there's lot of things wrong, sure.

I'm not reading in any real way at the moment, and sorry about that, but again it's hard to see Alphonse as mafia or not being in it, and for that, TUF reads as trying to fake a role equal to my believability as cop. If his supposed "game solve" isn't very convincing, I think I'll vote him. I definitely think he should claim.

We got a few British Knights knocking around. Funny story, I crashed my first car into a Knight's castle wall, took out about 6 meters of masonry. About fifteen people turned up for me and we cleared the road, got the car out of there, everything, brushes, shovels, the lot, 2 am in the morning. The Knight came looking, asking about 50 grand for his wall, there wasn't a Catholic said a word. That's a people lol.

My country is the only country in the world with less of a population today than it had in 1850, as a result of the famine. That's less loosey-goosey, sure, but it's a little crazy to think there's not a knock-on effect. 150 years is not a long time.
The nations wealth was not built on slavery, which was a net economic detriment to the benefit of the slave holding caste. The entire country would have been wealthier were it not for slavery, except the slave holding caste.
So slavery hurt you too? lol.

The way I see it is this: You guys got the African American, a second class citizen surely in a lot of ways, looking on at the rich white man, the wealth of which his ancestors were once enslaved to. There's resentment there, and if there's not politics there, I don't know where else.
Of course, it'll be on the other side too, in this hyper-individualistic world.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I grew up on a farm. We have 80 or 100 cattle at all times, I like them, I treat them well, I sing to them constantly tbh, Bohemian Rhapsody mostly, captive audience my mam says. But every fifteen months the cattle prods come out and a batch of them goes to slaughter. My dad takes a weird sort of class photo of death beforehand. I got a cranky vet comes too, he hates his job I'd say, I saw him box one of my cattle right into the mouth once, real hard, because it kicked while he was trying to castrate it. Well, I nearly hit him. I was paying the man to castrate my cattle, and took affront that he boxed one into the jaw. We're an odd creature, humans.
Still, I think you should find a new argument.

I do think the most of American politics is still around the black people thing tbh. Greyparrot uses the word "racist" 15 times a day. In my country, we bulldoze bad neighbourhoods, let greater society normalise former inhabitants. It seems to work. I'd prefer if my report on TUF was a guilty one lol. Him being innocent and mafia would also mean Pie went the first NP without lawyering his partner, even though he claimed miller himself D1. I'm chewing on it too, trust me. Also interesting how Pie put Earth on hammer yesterday, but pinging him. I am not sure how to read that tbh. I'm being lazy here too tbh, and my mafia game obviously ain't what it used to be, but I guess, as to the Wylted read, hindsight is 20/20.
