I am going to do the Be Bold Be Bald fundraiser for cancer research. I have never done a fundraiser myself before, looking for tips for promotion. I have till october 18th to figure this out, but I would like to do some kind of promotion before hand. Not here, im talking like facebook etc.

There are over twice as many religious posts that any other topic here at Dart. Usually, the most popular forum on a general site is politics. From what I've seen anyway. What's up with that?

Some topics barely have any discussion like fashion and cars. Can we have a discussion and suggestions on more popular topics we could replace the boring ones with?

Well I wouldn't say funny. But I don't think most things are funny. 

I might be wrong about minimum I Q to join the military, now that I think about it. 

He's just being mean as usual. 

I doubt the military would enlist retarded people. 

"street smart" is a pretty vague term, and has more to do with dealing with people.

Then why does the military require a certain minimum I Q?

How so? It at least correlates with success in life and school.

This person is me, and my I Q is average. I don't understand why I can't comprehend math, and yet have normal reading comprehension and skills. I always got A's in English. Yet I have trouble learning new languages. I also have a real difficulty learning new things. Real difficulty. 

Ok, I get that your saying that trying to think through things first will help improve your thinking skills.How about math skills? For instance, say a person simply can't comprehend how to do it at all. What if this person tries and tries, but simply can't "get it". They can work through a problem, but can't set up a problem. They just draw a blank. It goes over their head, no matter how much they try. What would this person, who can't comprehend, do to make things "click"? This person currently has an average I Q. 

How do you learn to think "critically and correctly"?

How can you increase your intelligence? I thought that was impossible.

Why do people place such high importance on intelligence? I mean, it's nothing to be proud of. It's not your effort put into a great accomplishment or something. It's something either given to you by God, or evolution.

Last time I checked, my IQ was 107.

I think there might only be one universe at a time, but that my consciousness kind of floats around, and lands in one possible universe. I think this mostly takes place while I am sleeping.

I feel like I am in a parallel universe. There is a one year gap. People keep saying I am 46 but I know I am 47. I keep thinking it is 2020. I went to the hospital last night,and my wrist band said 46 years. This startled me and I asked my bf how old I was,and he insists I'm 46. They just gave me some olanzapine and sent me home. I can't go inpatient because I have to take care of the dog. She just had surgery. 

At least I am seeing the right numbers again.
