I think it's a little weird that anything has the urge to procreate at all. Why should anything? I would think a piece of matter, if it didn't have a motive force, or soul, wouldn't have any "urge" to do anything at all. 

I wouldn't say unnatural, but certainly we are different from animals. Like you said, we are overly altruistic, even when it comes to strangers. We are also capable of cruelty far beyond what any animal is capable of. Maybe there is some kind of truth,as a metaphor,of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

I think enlightenment would be spiritual, but I could be wrong. That is why I said "not necessarily" spiritual. 

I believe in God. I've had spiritual experiences. But I could be crazy, and my enlightenment might be that atheists are correct. I could be just wrong, and reality consists of something entirely else. Like, it just plain exists as it is, with no creator, but with a consciousness which I call God who is not a creator.

I don't think enlightenment, by my definition, would necessarily cause happiness. What if you found out reality really sucks?

I think everyone will reach it eventually, as enlightenment is as understanding of what exists and reality.

Does enlightenment require work on our part, or is it just a stage in our existence, like puberty?

I get very frustrated sometimes because I don't understand it. I want pieces of the puzzle handed to me I admit it. I like figuring things out, but when I hit rough spots i get irritated and restless. Then there are times when I don't want to be involved at all. These times, and when I am lazy, I get a push. It freaks me out a little, because then I remember there is a consciousness watching over what I am doing. I also know that if I meditate I will get information faster, and probably more than I would get by staying in normal alpha wave consciousness. But I don't want to do it at the same time. 

Does anyone get this?

There is a consciousness that shows me numbers and geometry and things involving math.I don't understand why. I am not a math person and generally it is beyond me. It also just sent me another dream about the presesion. That I can understand. I admit I've been a bit lazy about trying to teach myself math and learn metrology. Maybe I can figure this out once I learn math. And astronomy as well as that is involved. Who gets these messages too?

I don't think there are any "failed species". 

How did you get where you are in regards to spiritual or religious beliefs?

I started out as an atheist ,had some religious experiences and became a theist. Had a period of time with christian beliefs, and now I kind of just believe in god.

Convergence shows it plainly. There are marsupial dogs, moles, sabre tooth "cats", flying squirrels etc. To me, that didn't happen by accident. 

Darwinians are those who believe in the modern synthesis. 

I believe in orthogenesis, which is the reason I made the distinction. I don't believe things "evolve" . They just change from one thing to another. In a specific and predetermined direction

I think that if atheists really took a look at Darwinian evolution, they would see that it makes no sense, there is no proof of it,and that everything points to a creator.

I am not sure what you mean by white. Most people's skin color is a shade of brown, from very pale brown to nearly black. What are you talking about?
