trump's lawsuit strategy to win the presidency is a joke

@Greyparrot
please, show us all of the voter fraud that nobody respectable can seem to find. tell us of the excellent legal strategy that he has, that no one can seem to discern in the media.

trump's lawsuit strategy to win the presidency is a joke
most of his lawsuits are being thrown out of court. the only major victory he had was winning the ability to be six feet from the election counters instead of ten... and that's only because dems conceded the victory. his only chance at the supreme court handing him the presidency is if pennsylvania was very close with biden on top and it all hinged on that state.... but that would only happen if the margin was less than four thousand, given that's how many ballots could be invalidated due to a technicality- the thing is, the margin is tens of thosuands in biden's favor, and that state isn't the crucial one. so basically, trump has no standing to even go before the supreme court- won't happen. he's flailing in the desert sun. he's making a fool of himself.

u read it here, he won't even get before the supreme court. the only reason i know all these things, is because i'm an informed voter who pays attention to the news...
the only conservatives who think he has a chance in the courts are the low information types who think a court case can always turn things around, and the retarded ones who think there's a big conspiracy theory of fraudulent voters, and the trump cult types who think PBS and even fox news is in on a conspiracy to make biden president.

what do you think of the idea of a trump dynasty?
trump's kids have the name and association necessary to get into politics.

trump probably wants ivanka to be the first female president, and she use to be a democrat so she may be more flexible on policy, and she's more level headed than her dad. i always vote democrat but i would consider ivanka as president.

there could be a long line of donald trumps, cause there's a long line of juniors. that would be hilarious if it happened, but it's a long shot considering how toxic trumpism can be, and how stupid don jr is. not to mention, don jr was openly calling on his dad to declare war due to the election results.

Key takeaways from this election
the only way trump can come back in four years is if biden fails as president in the eyes of most people, because most people dont want trump to come back

what did you expect? of course trump's supporters are prone to being gullible, believing in conspiracy theories, and lacking critical thinking.... if they weren't, they wouldn't have voted for trump to begin with.  if the situation were reversed, there might be a few odd ball blue voters crying fraud, but it wouldn't be nearly on the same scale.

1. the ultimate reality exists
2. trump colluding with russia is the ultimate reality
3. therefore, it is established that trump colluded with russia

if u deny that trump colluded with russia, then u deny the ultimate reality, which is illogical. why r u being illogical?

third party stole the election from trump

libertarian candidate and constitution candidates took around one percent of the vote. they did this in swing states where the margin of victory was less than a percent. if we assume those guys would have went for trump since they're all conservative, we can conclude that the third party stole the election from trump.

this just shows the stupidity of third party voting and the spoiler effect in our type of voting system. would be much better to switch to approval rating voting or rank voting where a third party doesn't act like a spoiler and actually makes sense.

you should have a major problem with trump, being the big 'truth' dude that you are. the whole idea of 'post truth politics' took off when trump entered the race five years ago. he's a pathological liar, and that's a fact.

as far as this election goes, yes your theories should be looked into, but if no credible media sources back up your theories, they are as good as junk to me. any credible news source would love to get the first scoop on election fraud, and they would jump on the chance to do so. a whole conspiracy involving the media and state governments is just asinine. again, as a big truth guy, this all should be your attitude.

if the election were called right now, for who's in the lead in each swing state, then biden would have exactly the amount of electoral votes he needs to win. these places seem like a pretty sure thing, but you can actually never really know for sure till the counting is done.  id say the tipping point of when this was over, was this morning when michigan turned blue. (there's still a third of detroit votes left to count, and most absentee votes are dems, and michigan almost always votes blue for president.)

it's not hardly even past election day, and already conspiracy theories are floating 'round from conservatives. 1. 100% of absentee ballots in michigan were for biden 2. there are more people voting in wisconsin than are registered to vote

mainstream media won't touch these with a ten foot pole. of course they wouldn't, given these are 'facts' are easily disprovable.

so which of you cray cray (crazy) conservatives believe this nonsense? do you have your own theory of voter fraud to pass 'round?

i wish i had my own alternative reality to escape to whenever things aren't going my way....

Debate Resolution: "The United States ought to institute a federal jobs guarantee"
i would support a guaranteed job program, now that i think about it, because it would make folks more productive. i wouldn't want them just picking up liter and such though, id want them to be working for the private sector and subsidized by the government, so that it's not pointless work. if it was pointless work, it's basically just a handout with little to show for it. also, i wouldn't want the job to pay fifteen bucks... id want it to be more like eight bucks, maybe ten.... that way it's viewed as a last resort job.

If you could rewrite one part of the U.S. Constitution, what would it be?
i would put in the constitution that the federal government must give catastrophic health coverage to all citizens, with coverage at least above the median salary. if we had this sorta coverage, people wouldn't go bankrupt or broke paying their healthcare bills, yet there'd be personal responsibility to pay tens of thousands of dollars. it would be a just society on this point.

does the bible require corporal punishment of children?

is the question of corporal punishment finished as far as christians are concerned, in that the bible requires it?

Jesus’ words vouchsafes the beating of children to keep them in line to the word of Jesus as follows:

"Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou BEATEST him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt BEAT HIM with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." (Proverbs.23:13-14)

"Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him." (Proverbs.22:15)

"He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes." (Proverbs.13:24)

welcome to freedom cafe - mask or no mask?
Welcome to the Freedom Cafe! We trust you to make your own choices if you want to wear a face mask. And, in the same spirit of individual liberty, we allow our staff to make their own choices about the safety procedures they prefer to follow as they prepare and serve your food.
We encourage employees to wash their hands after using the bathroom, but understand that some people may be allergic to certain soaps or may simply prefer not to wash their hands. It is not our place to tell them what to do.
We understand that you may be used to chicken that has been cooked to 165 degrees. We do have to respect that some of our cooks may have seen a meme or a YouTube video saying that 100 degrees is sufficient, and we do not want to encroach on their beliefs. Some of our cooks may prefer to use the same utensils for multiple ingredients, including ingredients some customers are allergic to. That is a cook’s right to do so.
Some servers may wish to touch your food as they serve it. There is no reason that a healthy person with clean hands can’t touch your food. We will take their word for it that they are healthy and clean.
Water temperature and detergent are highly personal choices, and we allow our dishwashing team to decide how they’d prefer to wash the silverware you will put in your mouth.
Some of you may get sick, but almost everyone survives food poisoning. We think you’ll agree that it’s a small price to pay for the sweet freedom of no one ever being told what to do – and especially not for the silly reason of keeping strangers healthy.

@TheUnderdog
people dont strive to stay on food stamps. it's not worth it when they have resource and income limits. it's not worth being destitute just to get a little free food. most food stamps are time limited too. food stamps help those that are permanently unable to subsist on their own, and give temporary relief to most others.

all you do is deflect and throw out a bunch of illogical arguments.  we are a soverign country.... it doesn't follow that me saying we should take care of our own means we should also give to other countries. it doesn't follow that because california is struggling that food stamps are a problem. food stamps are like a 100 billion a year of our budget out of a 25 trillion economy, and we also have vast surpluses of food. can you just be a humane human for a second and realize that if resources aren't distributed fairly that giving some resources to those who have none isn't such a bad thing? use logic this time.

we've had food stamps for decades if not centuries, including other countries own version of it. food stamps dont cause ecnomies to collapse. if there's such a wide wealth divide, shouldn't we not be worried if people need food stamps?

if land was divided the way wealth is, should we really be mad that we're giving hand outs to people who have no land, when a handful of people own half the land? wealth, resources, land.... it's all the same.

The Flat Tax
flat tax is stupid.

if we kept spending the same, it would cause taxes to go up on the middle class and poor. this is a necessity.... the rich will pay less if we make the tax less than they are taxed now, so the poorer will be taxed more to maintain current spending. if we make the tax what the rich pay now, then by definition the poorer will spend more that way too

rich people should pay more in taxes, it should be progressive. it's not right that we use a middle class guy's income for welfare programs. that should only be taken from those with excess wealth. plus the rich should be penalized for taking so much of the planet's resources, a luxory tax. it's not fair that what they take others cannot take, so at least tax em for it.

Apostasy from true Christianity

@Mopac
what do you think of the idea of being a liberal catholic? that has apostolic succession and keeps the pope as first amoung equals, yet doesnt make him infallible. the early church didn't talk much of a pope being inerrant, but they did talk about the pope being the head of the church, perhaps first among equals. clement in the first century told other churches what to do, even if they didn't always want to listen to him. and here are more snippets that strengthen the idea....

there are quotes below to support the idea that rome should be included in decision making. note that i am not arguing rome should be considered infallible acting unilaterally as that sort of evidence is not very strong in the early church. note that these are pretty early and important, such as iranaeous and cyprian, and an important apostolic canon recognized by the orthodox. i realize some are pretty far removed from the early church, but it is still evidence.

should rome be considered in decision making?

thoughts?

Apostolic Canon 34
"The bishops of every nation must acknowledge him who is first among them and account him as their head, and do nothing of consequence without his consent; but each may do those things only which concern his own parish, and the country places which belong to it. But neither let him (who is the first) do anything without the consent of all; for so there will be unanimity, and God will be glorified through the Lord in the Holy Spirit."

Iranaeous, early church historian. "It would be too tedious, in a work like this, to go through the succession lists of all the Churches.  We shall, therefore, take just one, the greatest, most ancient Church, the Church known to all, the Church founded and established in Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul.  By showing that the tradition which she received from the apostles, the faith which she proclaims to men, has come down to us through the succession of bishops, we confute all those who, in whatever manner,...set up conventicles.  With this Church, because of its more excellent origin, every Church (in other words, the faithful everywhere) must convene."

cyprian. "the Church of Rome is the root and matrix of the Catholic Church"

Pope Damasus I
"Likewise it is decreed . . . that it ought to be announced that . . . the holy Roman Church has been placed at the forefront not by the conciliar decisions of other churches, but has received the primacy by the evangelic voice of our Lord and Savior, who says: ‘You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it; and I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven . . . ’ [Matt. 16:18–19]. The first see, therefore, is that of Peter the apostle, that of the Roman Church, which has neither stain nor blemish nor anything like it" (Decree of Damasus 3 [A.D. 382]).

Hormisdas formula in 519
“... in the Apostolic See the Catholic religion has always been preserved immaculate.”

Pope Sixtus III “all know that to assent to [the Bishop of Rome’s] decision is to assent to St. Peter, who lives in his successors and whose faith fails not.”(433 AD)

"Flavian Patriarch of Constantinople to Pope Leo, AD 449  "The whole question needs only your single decision and all will be settled in peace and quietness. Your sacred letter will with God's help completely suppress th heresy which has arisen and the disturbance which it has caused; and so the convening of a council which is in any case difficult will be rendered superfluous."

Pope St. Innocent I "...whatever is done, even though it be in distance provinces, should not be ended until it comes to the knowledge of this see, that by its authority the whole just pronouncement should be strengthened, and that from there the other churches, like waters proceeding from their natal source and flowing through the different regions of the world, the pure streams of an in-corrupt Head, should take up what they ought to believe” (P.L. 33.780)

@Mopac
i'm sympathetic to the apostolic succession claim you're making. but if i look i might be able to find like four quotes from church fathers who say it matters. it's a lot to devout your whole self to a religion because you can find like four quotes about apostolic succession. it's a big jump. i dont see where it says what happens if you arent part of apostolic succession, just that it's a good thing. orthodoxy is good, i'll give you that.... but a whole religion dedicated to the idea of a true church? it's a big leap. also, i still say there were no teachings in the early church that i know of, that said the church is inerrant. maybe if a person could be a liberal orthodox, do your own thing as long as the fundamentals aren't violated. and yeah orthodoxy has problems with being arbitrary.... they often can't even agree with themselves about what is official doctrine. take contraception for example. or divorce. that sorta stuff.

does anyone dispute that trump says things that are racist?

he said obama wasn't born in the usa, and he had no reason to think that. obama is black and his dad was born in kenya, but other than that, you never see folks like trump dispute the same situation with white politicians.

he told the squad to go back where they came from. the squad is that group of colored congress women. born in the usa. trump never would have told a group of whites to go back to where they came from.

he said a judge ruling on one of his civil suits can't be objective, given the judge is mexican. there wasn't a shred of evidence the judge wouldn't be impartial, other than the fact that the judge was mexican.

the orthodox church actually runs into the same problem that the roman catholic church does. both churches have to argue that their authority was implied in the early church, cause it sure wasn't explicitly taught by anyone. where is are the writings that say the orthodox church cannot teach error? that their psychical organization is the one true church? you dont find that sort of teaching in either roman or orthodox churches. (but i agree it's most definitely silent in the early church on anything resembling infallibility of the pope)
