He's actually done it in three games I've played with him here on DART since the summer. He just made DP1 pretty easy in OSBM II. Hence, his mention in my mafia rally cry.
In fact, I did soft claim early on (Vanilla I Guess POST#96) but I've since soured on the efficacy of making such a claim.

I think lynching the person with the least activity is better than lynching the person that simply was the last to post. In this case, that would be Pie.Unvote. VTL Pie.It's too easy for Mafia to fly under the radar by being less activity, especially when Town out numbers them by so much. I'd rather lynch the people who interact the least thereby forcing everyone else to be more active and generate more content for analysis. All we are going to have to go on are people's statements.Since that's all we have to go on, I think we should cut down on fluff and jokes since that's just going to create noise.
This reasoning works for me.

I am on Ragnar's side regarding this "last to join" policy lynch. I agree with Draft & W42 that such behavior is not a particularly effective scum tell (although scum does tend to participate slower & less, generally) but more active participation is a boon to town and (in the absence of more convincing data) a policy lynch on last to joiners encourages participation.
In practice, I have never seen a player lynched for being last to join but I find the discussion of such policy improves participation so I persist in the face of drafter's derision.
speed is way too smart to accept his Vig claim prima facie but whatever his intended gambit, I predict a low chance of success.
I wish greyparrot would just admit that he is scum so we could move on to NP.

I think that may not be a coincidence & DD is simply not interested in standing by while we wrangle and test every possible combination of players. So, we were training on Greyparrot and then PressF halted everything to run an experiment but never ran the experiment and never called off the experiment.
Let's assume PressF contentment with halting the train is a strong scum indicator and go back to lynching Greyparrot, shall we?
Greyparrot's usual MO is to post early (often first) and usually claim (or at least appear to claim). I suspect GP was doped up on L-Tryptophan, joined late, and did not read the OP for comprehension before posting. He did not realize until too late that simply stating "I am not a JOAT" was necessarily a scum claim until he joined the PM a few minutes later. There is no sensible explanation for TOWN to claim "not JOAT" in this situation.
TOWN is badly outnumbered here and we are going to have to ignore a lot of fake news if we are going to survive.
TOWN (and only town please) should act immediately to dispose of Greyparrot.
