was calling out "MICHAEL!" just a punchline or a soft claim?

@drafterman
I haven't put forth a theory. I'm questioning why you keep calling for me to be lynched with no stated reason.
I've now stated the reason twice- once to you directly 11 posts ago. Why do you persist in this falsehood?

@Vader
I notice there's a scum card but no town card. I call that premature eflipulation

HOWEVER.I don't like oro at the moment. He has twice sublty called for my lynch with no reason.
So your working theory is that the guy who made SirAnonymous false claim and then VTL'd, unvoted, then hammered that dude for his false claim, then caught a dude lying about visiting you who you just hammered for that lie is actually secretly scum who just blithely assassinated both his teammates in the first two DPs? That's your theory?

HOWEVER.I don't like oro at the moment. He has twice sublty called for my lynch with no reason.
2 falsehoods here.
1) No subtlety about it- I said "we need to lynch Supa and then I think drafterman" Pretty straightforward. Why would you call that subtle?
2)My reason was given in the line immediately preceeding this comment. I suspect Supa falsely claimed hiding under drafter to boost drafter's town cred.
drafter can't honestly claim he read the suspicion but didn't notice the cause of that suspicion in the before.
=>
where is the second subtle call for your lynch?

Created:

@Greyparrot
OK but you are understanding that Supa lied about hiding under drafterman?
hiders die under mafia so successful hiding confirms town
why would you lie about hiding? To falsely confirm your partner as town
we need to lynch Supa and then I think drafterman

Warren PMd me at 9:05 MT that speed visited. I am asking whether it’s speed and not supa or both visited. But it looks like supa is already confessing

@Speedrace
it is not impossible that you are telling the truth. But what are the odds you are telling the truth? I think this the scenario most pertinent to the aphorism: " lynch all liars" When somebody did something and says they didn't or somebody doesn't do something but says they did the odds are good they are scumming.

@drafterman
OK-
Drafterman, be advised that both Supa and Speed claimed to have visited you last night but my new information is that only Supa (&myself) visited you last night.
Speed is lying.
I would like to lynch Speed for lying.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

THE PRANCING PONY, BREE. Midyear's Day, Shire Year, 1418. Dear Frodo, Bad news has reached me here. I must go off at once. You had better leave Bag End soon, and get out of the Shire before the end of July at latest. I will return as soon as I can; and I will follow you, if I find that you are gone. Leave a message for me here, if you pass through Bree. You can trust the landlord (Butterbur). You may meet a friend of mine on the Road: a Man, lean, dark, tall, by some called Strider. He knows our business and will help you. Make for Rivendell. There I hope we may meet again. If I do not come, Elrond will advise you. Yours in haste ,GANDALF. PS. Do NOT use It again, not far any reason whatever! Do not travel by night! PPS. Make sure that it is the real Strider. There are many strange men on the roads. His true name is Aragorn. "All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king." PPPS. I hope Butterbur sends this promptly. A worthy man, but his memory is like a lumber-roam: thing wanted always buried. If he forgets, I shall roast him. Fare Well!

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
Here Captain! dear father!
This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
You’ve fallen cold and dead.
My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Caesar. The noble Brutus
Hath told you Caesar was ambitious:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Caesar answer’d it.
Here, under leave of Brutus and the rest–
For Brutus is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men–
Come I to speak in Caesar’s funeral.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
He hath brought many captives home to Rome
Whose ransoms did the general coffers fill:
Did this in Caesar seem ambitious?
When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept:
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the Lupercal
I thrice presented him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And, sure, he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

If this isn't Speed's first official act it is close to it. How's about the people who have been around here a while show some support and investment in the actual development of this site. There is nothing cool or useful about raging at a guy at his first day on the job. Not every emotion felt is worthy of a new forum topic, folks.

@Dr.Franklin
Yes, although the truth is I'm too much of a nerd to really get all that into sports and I don't own a tv. I always enjoy going to actual games. I'll watch the games if I'm with family and friends and try to watch the playoffs, big games. I just don't get as invested in it as most Denverites. This season, blech. At least I won't have to watch the Superbowl this year.

"This idea of purity and you're never compromised and you're always politically woke and all that stuff — you should get over that quickly," Obama told a crowd in Chicago.
He added:
"I do get a sense sometimes now among certain young people, and this is accelerated by social media, that the way of me making change is to be as judgmental as possible about other people and that's enough.
"Like if I tweet or hashtag about how you didn't do something right…. then I can sit back and feel pretty good about myself because: 'Man, did you see how woke I was? I called you out.'"
"The world is messy," the 44th US president said. "There are ambiguities. People who do really good stuff have flaws. People who you are fighting may love their kids and, you know, share certain things with you."
"That is not activism," he concluded. "That is not bringing about change. If all you're doing is casting stones, you are probably not going to get that far."

@Trent0405
I stopped watching after 3 or 4 seasons but the show has always been big here in Denver because there are many inside Denver jokes. I stop in the town of Fairplay (the actual South Park) pretty often for gas or lunch. South Park itself is a wide beautiful valley in the center of the state and at the crossroads of Colorado- North to Denver, West to Ski, South to the San Luis Valley, East to Pikes Peak.
