Why do you refer to the US govt as a Democracy? The US govt is a Constitutional Republic based on the rule of law, not a 51% mob rule democracy. The founders of this country did everything they could to NOT have this country be a Democracy.,

I  have never given my personal opinion on abortion one way or another. I am discussing the legal argument as to why the supreme court sent it back to the states and how this will allow those who don't like abortion to live among other people who don't and vice versa. My opinion about abortion is irrelevant. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.  You, like most people don't get that my opinions are never based on emotion.  This was as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning. The mistake was using the courts instead of doing it the proper way by legislation thru the House and Senate then amending the constitution. But they didn't so here we are. Court rulings can be over turned with a simple majority and they are overturned all the time. The only people to blame for this happening are the pro choice advocates in the beginning. They couldn't get the support  to amend the constitution then and they cant get it now.  Not all woman are pro choice, I guess they hate themselves. You know like people say I hate women because I don't  opine one way or another. My opinion about anything doesn't matter, never has, learned that along time ago. Your question assumes a "United" States. We are not united on anything, we can not even agree on what a woman is or if men can have babies. With Roe v Wade being sent back to the states to decide, could this  be a possible good thing?  It will create states that appeal to conservatives and states that appeal to everyone else. Lets be honest, everyone hates everyone for their political views. We can not coexist. This has been  proven. This opens the door to people being able to migrate to live with other like minded people. We don't have to have each others views and politics shoved down each others throats. It will also allow for somewhat of a social experiment. Which states will do better than others based on each states different abhorrent and immoral policies. I chose to describe the policies as abhorrent and immoral because that is how they will be described no matter how much good or bad they do.

Actually you can just go and take over a website with money if they accept your offer. Weather or not it remains successful is up to the new owner. Some people buy web sites just to shut them down to cut the competition.

This site doesn't need to protect anything, it has to worry about being sued should the site decide to advertise and make money. I personally would change the whole  look if I were to seek to make it a for profit site. I am not saying that it would happen, I am saying there is sufficient cause and would be slam dunk in a civil law suit.

Its a good thing for this site because the creator stole so many intellectual property designs from DDO. It's all but a carbon copy of DDO.org. Once DDO.org shuts down this site actually might be able to accept advertising and actually become a profitable venture. I would still check on intellectual property rights though.

Debate .org  is/was a subsidiary of Juggle INC. Juggle owns numerous web sites. Debate. org was purchased  by Juggle as a tax write off  most likely. It generated what would equal almost zero revenue.  Juggle most likely padded the books to show that it spent money managing the site  far in excess of what it actually spent to write it off on their taxes. But you can only do that for so long then the IRS will get suspicious. You can only show a loss and keep "investing"  for so long. They most likely had to dump it, who would buy a site littered and polluted with spam and viruses.
