"experts say." Why the fuck didn't the so called experts you are quoting predict the fucking inflation? They are experts at nothing. I am by no means an expert on economics but I do know how to balance a budget and not go into debt. This is what is going to happen in the coming years if not months. The US govt is going to continue printing trillions upon trillions of worthless dollars that the federal reserve will enable them to do. The US dollar will cease to be the reserve currency because it become completely worthless. The US govt will no longer be able to print worthless money because no one will accept it. All the people who rely on govt for their paychecks will wake up one day and stop receiving them. All those entitlement programs and welfare programs will end. Then there will be a massive world wide depression the likes of which will make 1929 look like a economic boom. The United States is piss fucking bankrupt. The only thing keeping it afloat is the US dollar being the reserve currency and allowing the federal reserve to print worthless money. that will end.  You heard it predicted here by a non expert. Now tell me how its all Trumps fault. It's the entire govt. The govt, the federal reserve and every single congressman that ever voted for deficit spending for the past 30 years is to blame. This is what caused inflation, wake the fuck up and buy a clue.

Multi trillion dollar deficit spending by govt as far as the eye can see and the Federal reserve being their enabler. How could anyone have predicted inflation. How did we all get it wrong?  I've been warning about it for years. Its as plain as the nose on your face. America is the Weimar Republic on steroids for Christ sake.

Printing 30 trillion dollars of worthless dollars and flooding the fiat currency system with it will have no effect on inflation in the country that does it. OK. Thanks for clearing that up. For awhile there I thought the US was a carbon copy of the pre WW2 Weimar republic as it is doing the exact same thing they did.

I haven't listed anything or suggested anyone vote for anyone. I said a few points were made. Sorry if your all ate up because I didn't mention you by name. But then again you resorted to insults at the end of your list, and me personally, "generally don't" consider or acknowledge people who do that. Also most of your list is platitudes, not real policy that can be measured or examined to make an educated decision by a would be voter in my opinion. I didn't start this thread to convince anyone to vote for anyone, I started it for other people to do that. My responses are just critiques of the responses. I would call those political platitudes, I don't know how one would create a policy that would achieve any of that.  Nearly all of those are personal behavior problems. With the exception of the last two.

Um the goal of the thread is to get people who are on the fence to vote Democrat by pointing out Democrat policies that would benefit the the potential voter.

I created this thread for people who will definitely vote for a Democrat Presidential candidate to appeal to others who may be on the fence as to why they should vote for a Democrat Presidential candidate in the next Presidential election. We can also include the midterms coming up. If possible please focus on the policies that you think would benefit the possible would be voter. Please refrain from useless political narratives about opposing ideologies  or people. They  already know you don't like them. What would they be voting for. Focus on fiscal, foreign and domestic policies. 

Just because someone calls you transphobic  for not buying their political BS doesn't mean you are. Remember kids, its a narrative and you can reject it completely like I do. Call me every name in the book, the transgender narrative doesn't put food on anyone's table or money in their bank account, not even transgenders.

I will say this about the documentary. It violates the most important rule of a documentary, it uses deception and the emotional rantings of people who don't know what they are talking about. It also fails to point out that nuclear power plants are much safer than 40 years ago leaving the viewer to think nothing has changed and that nuclear power is not an option. It also fails to mention that there are different designs other than fast breeder reactors. All in all the video just perpetuates fear mongering to the ignorant masses who don't know anything other than what videos like this tell them to think. Those are the points I took away.

A partial meltdown is not a complete meltdown and containment breach. Does that satisfy you? Now answer my question. Did watching this documentary make you think any form of nuclear energy is bad and if so how will future energy needs be met if the people are forced not to use natural proven energy sources?

I was alive when it happened, heard about it in real time. There was never any danger of a containment breach. Yea there  was an accident, but it demonstrated the safety of nuclear energy, not the pitfalls.  Those who cry about gas powered cars better get on board with nuclear energy because it is the only way to generate the needed energy to power all those cars and trucks. Wind and solar is a fucking joke, totally intermittent and unreliable. There is a different  nuclear power plant design developed in the 1960's called a molten salt  reactor. Way safer than current tech. It was rejected back then because it didn't allow for the production of weapons grade plutonium. Anyhow, there is no green energy future without nuclear energy. This documentary just prolongs that future by indoctrinating you to reject it.

Nothing is ever learned from history, don't know why time is wasted teaching it. Its rewritten every ten  to twenty years anyway. The history I was taught in no way even  comes close in any respect to the history my children were taught.  I don't even discuss history with my children, its utterly pointless. I think the real fear is a state in the union that is a conservative version of California that would show contrast and outcome of conservative vs liberal leftist govt policies.

The sole purpose of the Supreme Court is to rule on weather any legislation passed by Congress is in continuity with the Constitution. Any law passed by congress can be immediately challenged and the supreme courts sole purpose is to hear that case and rule on its Constitutionality.  If congress tries to pass a law saying all 50 states have to make abortion legal it will be immediately be sent back to the supreme court and most likely lose. It's a state right issue and bad law to begin with in my opinion. The constitution does not say anywhere that woman have a right to an abortion. It doesn't say that because abortion is a first world modern luxury convenience. Not to mention the fact that you would have to force any doctor anywhere to perform that abortion making them slaves to govt. You cant force another person to work for you against their will to exercise a right.
