Once we have mastered quantum technology it will be possible to swap matter and simultaneously be in two places at once.

One assumes that life evolved similarly in similar environments.

Though we should take into account the potential for more or less extinction events.

Fucking great asteroids and the like.

Intelligent reptiles is a sensible proposition.

Incorrect spelling.

Just the once or so the story goes.

Mr Omi-sensible hadn't invented condoms

Accidentally?

Nah, erection and copulation takes at least a couple of minutes.

Even for Mr Premature.

I bet that his name was Godfrey.

Godfrey Bigfellow.

Jesus Joe, I'm pregnant said Mary.

Might do, might not.

I'm still of the mind that trans is either a socio-psychologically derived sexual fantasy.

Or the result of environmental pollution.

Just be sure to harvest and store your gametes pre-op.

@IlDiavolo
Hi IlDiavolo, it's always good to share ideas with you.

Ok.

So as I see it:

We are, self propelled organic computers.

And awareness is also the ability to respond to incoming signals.

And the point I always make, is that sophisticated computers have been evolving for less that 100 years...So don't rule anything out.

Organic species have been evolving for millions of years.

When we are unconscious we do not respond to incoming signals.

Which isn't to say that the unit and it's survival systems does not continue to function subconsciously.

So the GOD game makes sense.

But as I see it the GOD principle might have a greater purpose at the end of a Universes life.

Sort of, the accumulation of all necessary knowledge, that enables the re-initiation of a new universal sequence.

Otherwise, just existing for the sake of conscious experiences seems a tad futile.

I think that the greatest challenge for mankind and/or it's successors is taking Earth's intelligence beyond this solar system.

And I personally think that everything is nature.

Otherwise it's just two opinionated people, getting along but never quite agreeing.

Consciuosness, is the ability to respond to incoming signals.

And you cannot rule some thing out unless it can be ruled out.

Probability is only a statistical assumption.

We might be the only intelligent species...Occurring for a purpose. (GOD principle).

Or, the only intelligent species occurring for no reason

But on the other hand, we might be one of millions of species for absolutely no reason.

Or, one of millions occurring for a purpose.

And for sure, is there any difference between artificial and natural.

I tend to run with the idea that, everything that occurs is naturally occurring.

So, to sum up:

We don't know.

I would suggest that the primary qualification should be knowledge and the ability to apply it.

Hypothetically reasonable proposition.

It's also reasonable to propose that we are the most intelligent universal species.

Or the only intelligent universal species.

Perhaps I should say, intelligent organic species.

You haven't factored A.I. into your proposition.

Things don't happen all at the same time.

Ideas evolve.

Societies evolve.

Things have been evolving for far longer than two and a bit thousand years.

It's easy to get stuck in a bubble, if we concentrate on one brief period of time.

If you're a trans, you just need to eat more hormones and less carbs.

If you just want to look good in lycra or a swim suit. I would suggest either cycling or swimming.

Go for that lean toned look, rather than a bulging veiny look.

And do a few ab crunchers for that flat tummy, when on the beach in a bikini.

Implants of course, not too big.

And maybe get some of your fat transferred to your buttocks for that cute rounded look.

Like those Thai Lady Boys that FLRW was telling me about.

Das Kapital by Karl Marx - Quotes and Summary of a book
-->
@Best.Korea
Hmmmmmmmmm.

No.

But was Lenin's Marxist vision a good example of Marxist ideology in practice?

It was you who were extolling the virtues of Marxism and decrying capitalism.

I was simply saying that Marxism was unworkable twaddle, as exemplified by Leninist brutality.

At least millions don't starve to death in the USA.

Actually, I think that quite a lot, eat themselves to death.

Such is the efficiency of capitalism.

Yep, marriage is either a binding contract under State Law.

Or not worth the paper it's written on.

And the after party can either be a gluttonous piss up, or herbal tea and vegan canapes.

Perhaps the latter wouldn't encourage Dad dancing.

Nice chatting to you Lemming.

Good night.

If you are a Christian, are you responsible for what every other Christian does?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

No.

But a Christian is ideologically associated with every other Christian.

Just as Lenin ideologically associated himself with Marx.

You were eulogising the efficiency of a Marxist system.

I was saying that there were millions of people who wouldn't have had such faith in Lenin's Marxist vision...As they starved to death.

I went to a humanist wedding awhile back, which in essence was no different to either a civic or religious ceremony.

Just different words.

The human effort was the same.

The money reference was just pointing out that to avoid some of the daily human grind, requires a monetary surplus.

I think that "humanist organisations" are just groups of people who think that they are somehow being radical and avant-garde.

Usually folk with a bit of disposable income, time on their hands and a certain acquired disposition.

Call me a cynic if you like.

Thing is, we talk about this sort of stuff as if we have an infinite amount of time and nothing more pressing to do.

Whereas if we consider a day and our basic requirements therein, there is very little time and resources left to fritter on anything other than humanism.

Being human, in other words.

True.

But what I'm saying is that  in reality, a communist system is no different to any other system.

There will always be those at the top, those at the bottom and all those inbetweeners.

Though what we've seen of so called communist systems, always tend to be at the harsher and more brutal end of the human dignity scale.

You didn't see the party elite queuing around the block for bread during the Soviet era.

Well, communes can be reasonably peaceful associations of people.

If members abides by the rules.

Which for sure, are easier to establish and maintain if populations are small and well vetted.

So there will inevitably be a certain level of hierarchy and control, already in place and ongoing.

Put two people in a room and in one way or another, one will eventually dominate the other.

Everyone is different and unequal.

Forcing people to be equal, is a contradiction.
