@Best.Korea
Perhaps we belong to the Universe, and must serve any universal purpose that might be dependant upon us.
But on the other hand, if nothing matters, then nothing matters.

I'm too old to really care now.
Expectations were more straightforward back in my day.

National debt is a farce.
An education maybe compulsory, but is not necessarily forced.
Young minds are keen to learn stuff, so it might as well be useful stuff.
Because a modern cohesive society, doesn't really need, a whole load of illiterate, innumerate dimwits.
Which makes you wonder if Trump supporters ever went to school.
Only joking.

HaHa.
No I didn't know that.
I will look and compare.

Sadly, "recently" suggests that he probably missed his opportunity.
Sadly also, approximately 7700 per day miss their opportunity too.
Of course, the eligible voting public will be replenished on a daily basis; though these days most of those will be transsexual and probably vote blue.
Maybe that's a slight exaggeration?

Over here "Hockey" is played either on grass or a synthetic alternative, and is in the main, a good natured affair.
Ice Hockey is played but is not widely popular, and I'm not sure if fighting is or isn't allowed.
Though I tend to find spectator sports tedious anyway.
So 0% for me.

Maybe so, maybe not.
Which doesn't negate the fact that human behaviour does affect Earth systems.
Whereas, a government is responsible for a nation, and all that such responsibility entails.
Though some people have a tendency to think that government is an ongoing conspiracy organisation.
And for sure, if humanity became extinct tomorrow, the Earth would continue to spin and orbit and change, until such times when the Sun gave up the ghost, or other forces intervened.
Nonetheless, we remain clueless, until one knows of a purposeful reason for matter and it's existence, and us.
In the mean time, we just have to keep plodding on as best we can.

The mass endures it 's short fatalistic existence, either for a purposeful reason or a chance reason.
That's about all that one can say with any certainty.
Otherwise
Speculation is rife.

We are all indoctrinated; it's the nature of the beast.
And if taxation was voluntary, you would currently be sheltering under a tree, and certainly wouldn't be communicating with me via the internet.
Why do you always tend to suggest that societies somehow always evolve not as they should.
I would suggest that societies have evolved, relative to their human input.
You'll get the hang of it eventually.

Spiritualities are internal electro-chemical responses, to either self generated or externally generated stimuli.
And tend to give rise to all sorts of fantasy concepts.

Yep.
We have education provision up until the age of 18.
We have a National Health Service
We have transport infrastructure.
We have Armed Forces, Police and rescue services.
We have social welfare services.
The list of modern day expected social provision is near endless.
How else does it get paid for?
Nonetheless, if one wants to live on the street in a cardboard box, scavenge for food and not contribute anything to society, then one is free to do so.
Though the rest of society, usually ends up footing the bill for the care of such people.
And the term "Public School" is something of a contradiction over here. It actually refers to private schools.
The majority of British youngsters attend a State School.

Nope, it was presented in such a way as to be unclear of it's message.
Just reread it to make sure I wasn't missing something, and it still didn't make sense.
Perhaps you compiled it in a hurry.

Words are and definitions are.
We can refer to Africa as a banana if you like.
And shared smoke is smoke, though some people would prefer not to share it.
And your transport synopsis, exemplified the human dependence upon the fascination of effortlessly getting from A to B.
Super.

Of course we have taxes.
We obviously have to pay for social necessities and the stuff we use .
Who else is going to pay for it?
Created:
-->
@Best.Korea
No need.
I just get up, do stuff and then go to bed again.
I'm more likely to be hit by a bus.
Which would be my own fault, for not paying attention.

Fortunately I don't feel the need to be protected from the British Government.
Of course, there are many people around the world who do not have the same luxury.

There are lot's of experts and fewer professors.
Though I agree that expert opinions are often paid for, or even coerced.

In short,
Theology is nonsense,
Though religion is what it has become.
And it's fair to suggest that theological ideology was a necessary evolutionary step, in terms of intellectual development.
But if you indoctrinate your kids with nonsense,
They will grow up believing in nonsense.
It is to be hoped that self perpetuating A.I. will be more logical, if a real universal goal is to be achieved...Very speculative, I know.
But for now, a lot of organic humanoids still cling to the idea that Allah, God etc, are actual magic blokes who will bestow eternal life if silly rituals are performed.
Such is one drawback of memory.
Though technological evolution still carries on apace.
Yin and Yang.

@RemyBrown
Experts are generally more successful than less successful people.
And the latter is often jealous of the former.
And to think that humanity and it's lust for resources and energy does not affect Earths atmosphere, is the same as thinking that overeating and being lazy doesn't make one fat.
It's also foolish to think that deliberately inhaling smoke and it's contaminants is still cool.
And if people weren't so lazy and were more content with being in one place, then the luxury of personal vehicles would not also be an addiction.
And a continent is a delineated area of Planet Earth, incorporating smaller delineated areas.
And I would stick my neck out and suggest, that a general consensus exists in respect of continental delineation.
Unfortunately one cannot confidently say the same about national delineation.

1. If you don't need a government to protect you, who is going to protect you?
2. If you don't enforce order, who will enforce order?
3. Someone will have power, will it be you?
And so those with the power to enforce will become the government.
SOS...Same Old Sh*t.

A Zedku for Sidewalker.
Something will happen,
And the something will happen.
And people will come and go
And more stuff will happen,
In sequence,
Because stuff doesn't occur randomly,
Nor go backwards.
And then,
And so on,
Until,
The end.
The End.

Yep, things will undoubtedly be different in years to come.
Especially if humans become unnecessary.
The need for sexual stimulation will be eventually be engineered out of DNA.
And the stupidity of religion will not be uploaded.

Yep. Nobody knows.
But we can all appreciate that the Universe is vast and that matter evolves.
Omni-Sensible Interventionist Super-intelligence.
Something came, something saw and something decided that this was a suitable planet, on which life and intelligence might develop.
And then it departed across the universe to find other such places.
Call it GOD if you will.
End of hypothesis.
Additional fantasy tales are unnecessary.

GOD.
This is the omni-sensible super-intelligent guy, that sneaks upon old guys and sets fire to bushes.
He also sends messages chiselled onto lumps of rock.
No spaceship, no smartphone, not even a pencil and paper.
A few thousand years of techno evolution later and you should realise that the old folk tales of people traipsing around the Arabian deserts fighting each other, are a tad silly.
Not to say that OSISI isn't a reasonable hypothesis, in terms of universal seeding.
Though OSISI is OSISI and not the daft bloke.

I would suggest that the mind, in terms of self awareness, doesn't really age until biological systems begin to malfunction.
So in terms of mental self awareness, I am still the same as I was 50 years ago.
Though vigour has noticeably diminished in the last 10 years or so.
I'm assuming that you are somewhat younger than I am, so I would suggest that your self confidence is typical, rather than special.

@MarkWebberFan2
Yep.
Based upon the notion of evolutionary inevitability, then we can assume that everything is occurring accordingly relative to developing intellect and knowledge.
Though we have to accept that data transfer will inevitably inhibit the process of data evolution.
Necessary checks and balances perhaps?
Created:

@ebuc
Interesting data.
Currently we only know that life exists on Planet Earth.
And for sure, the Universe is vast.
But our knowledge is limited thus.
So we can only speculate, based upon probability.
But it's nice to think that something else somewhere else, is also having nice thoughts.

Pinata.
Candy for kids.
Though clay pigeons are popular.
Hunting is an archaic throwback as are human beings.
Hunting is also a leisure pursuit.
I always hunt the supermarket shelves for bargains.
And take sandwiches when I go hiking.
Q. Why would you never go hungry at the seaside?
A. Because of all the sand which is there.

@MarkWebberFan2
As long as important intellects are developing stuff, then the other 8 billion or so can jabber on and fight to their hearts content.
Though it's far to suggest that evolution requires both.
