I was talking to airmax recently and was wondering why he failed to fulfill his duties as president. He personally told me to send this message to you guys, and sorry I am logging back on. I really am leaving permanently but so many members are reaching out to me and pouring out their feelings to me.

Dear DebateArt.com community,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message to announce my departure from this once-thriving intellectual platform. Today, I, airmax1227, join what is being called "The OG Exodus" as a response to the rampant antisemitism that has plagued our community.

When I initially joined DebateArt.com, I was filled with hope and excitement to engage in stimulating debates, expand my knowledge, and connect with a diverse range of individuals. I believed that this platform fostered an environment of inclusivity and respect, where intellectual growth could flourish. Regrettably, recent events have shattered that illusion, exposing a distressing undercurrent of antisemitic sentiment.

Antisemitism, in its many forms, has no place in civil discourse or any aspect of our society. Yet, it has become alarmingly pervasive within our community, permeating conversations, threads, and interactions. From subtle microaggressions to outright hate speech, the presence of antisemitism has tarnished the very fabric of DebateArt.com.

As a Jewish individual, I have personally borne witness to and experienced the effects of this bigotry. The derogatory remarks, offensive stereotypes, and discriminatory behavior have left me disheartened and disillusioned. It is dispiriting to see a platform that was once a beacon of intellectual exchange succumb to such toxic and hateful rhetoric.

The decision to join the OG Exodus was not an easy one, but it is a necessary step to combat the prevalence of antisemitism and push for change within this community. The movement represents a collective effort by individuals who refuse to accept this status quo and strive for an inclusive and tolerant platform.

DebateArt.com was intended to be a space where ideas could be shared, perspectives could be challenged, and respectful dialogue could flourish. Unfortunately, the unchecked antisemitism has eroded these principles, stifling free expression and perpetuating harmful stereotypes. By standing together in the OG Exodus, we hope to shed light on this issue and implore the administration and the community as a whole to take action.

My departure from DebateArt.com should not be seen as an abandonment of intellectual discourse, but rather a strategic decision to seek out platforms that prioritize inclusivity, respect, and empathy. I yearn for a community where diversity is celebrated, and all members are valued for their contributions, regardless of their religious or cultural backgrounds.

To those who have engaged in meaningful discussions and fostered an environment of acceptance and understanding, I express my gratitude. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. However, it is essential to recognize that change must come from within the community as a whole. It is imperative to address antisemitism directly, challenge harmful narratives, and create a safe space for all individuals to participate and grow.

I hope that DebateArt.com will heed our concerns and take significant steps to eradicate antisemitism from its ranks. It is my fervent wish that this platform can regain its former glory and become a beacon of intellectual discourse where bigotry has no place.

Thank you to all those who have contributed positively to my journey on DebateArt.com. I cherish the friendships and connections I have made here and look forward to continuing intellectual pursuits in spaces that embrace diversity, inclusivity, and the values that define a truly vibrant community.

With heartfelt hopes for positive change,

The Tournament ended with Benjamin defeating me, which I am now happy about as it means I can bring this up without sounding narcissistic. My problem does not stem from the lack of glory and announcement surrounding the tournament ending, it stems from a complete lack of Airmax following through on his singular campaign promise: getting DART popular AF.

He is just seasonally fortunate, the months that lead into the Northern Hemisphere's Summer and Spring type months are linked to more activity on debate forums. I don't even fully understand why what with exams and all but this has been consisten and I've 'been around' sites like this for a while.

The fact is that perhaps the only person who got people to join more to DART was Incel-Chud with his Twitter posting, it may have garnered some attention (this is something he readily let us know he was doing, he even posted the link elsewhere to his Twitter, so don't accuse me of stalking).

I see Lunatic trying, Airmax flaking, Mikal 100% flaking and around 40% of Airmax voters (or more actually) are basically dead af to the website whereas those that voted 3RU7AL are almost all active here.

The thing is I don't care about that ^, I was willing to vote Airmax until things happened later on making me question his character again (from what I thought about him vs his promise to thinking it about him again).

There has not even been any feedback from Airmax during the BrotherDThomas or Incel-Chud bans. We have seen nothing at all, not even with the polytheist-witch ban, where Airmax defends or even makes a post acting as the balancing power to the moderators.

It makes you wonder if he even understands his role. It doesn't matter if he agrees with the bans, he should be publicly defending and making speeches about both sides, primarily focused on being a defendant to the user.

Please feel free to contribute but bear in mind that if your suggestion is too silly or unpopular, it's not going to be picked up, feel free to quote others' suggestions that you liked or disliked and say why you like or dislike the topic.

Please avoid any direct help other than to point out a severe flaw in wording of a resolution that rigs it for one side, in your eyes.
