- Humans are "a bipedal primate mammal (Homo sapiens)."
- Climate Change is "changes in the Earth's weather patterns."
- Weather is "the state of the atmosphere with respect to heat or cold, wetness or
dryness, calm or storm, clearness or cloudiness."
- Sun is "the
luminous celestial body around which the earth and other planets revolve, from
which they receive heat and light, which is composed mainly of hydrogen and
helium, and which has a mean distance from earth of about 93,000,000 miles
(150,000,000 kilometers), a linear diameter of 864,000 miles (1,390,000
kilometers), and a mass 332,000 times greater than earth."
My honorable opponent has messaged me to concede the debate, due to busyness. In light of this, I suggest assigning him the conduct point, and myself the argument point.
My (shortened) Argument:
In the lifetime of humanity, we have not (yet) exceeded the historical temperature extremes for this planet.
Changes to the tilt of the Earth around the Sun, account for a larger shift in climate than our CO2 footprint.
Thus, while humans are a contributor to climate change, there is strong doubt against us being the primary one.
As Ragnar has stated, I concede due to lots of things going on.
People like you who do this...
You should supply definitions BEFORE the debate begins, or else the person accepting could be walking into a TRAP!!!
