I am new to the website, so I'll just drop this question here:
If I post a debate, it gets accepted, but the other person never responds, am I able to repost the same debate to look for another contender?

Me and Lancelot are not enemies, we never were, really. He did help me too, when Oromagi was after me.
I pointed out I dont approve of what he does. I dont know if he is acting like knight Lancelot. I dont know what is he seeking to accomplish here. This amount of targeting is unhealthy, someone will get banned. Maybe there is some knight code making him do it. Maybe there is some belief that it is his duty. Still, what he does contains little honor and is overreacting. All he will do is get himself banned for nothing.

He is used to abusing people who cower away once he really digs in or snap, he enjoys seeing people 'break'. There are people who'd self harm, cry and feel truly shit after he posted the things I said as it adds onto other things he's said and done to try to make me feel shit about myself and make my time here hell.

We’d have to detect them in advance, but I could see a basis for it.

No I mean the account has to be x number of days old to have access to voting, not the age of the user. That allows mods to remove voted privileges from suspected vote bomb accounts before they can act.

We already don’t allow users below the age of 13. We could set an age limit for voting and enforce that as mods, but if someone is using other accounts to vote bomb, I don’t think it’ll do much to prevent that.

If the vote-bombing is what causes you to leave the site, then that 'win' is technically someone else's.
As I have said countless times, I did not arrange it and I am not the one pulling strings.

The truce is a courtesy, not a necessity.

Voting will end Sept. 4 at 1:33PM. We will need to be vigilant about new accounts appearing just before then. Very difficult for a new account to show up and do three troll debates in only a few seconds, so that should serve as insurance.

Plz award all points to CON! Free credits for standing up to vote bombers.

I understand your point, but letting the vote bombers get what they want with no recourse is probably the bigger risk with the message it sends.

I will help with the voting and everything, but I am not a fan of this risky idea at all.
If it were possible to have judges in rated, this would be different. This seems vunerable.

You are taking unnecessary risk for nothing. Noble as it may be, it would take at least 20 of these for RM to get back at 1800, to what it was.

And this is assuming none get votebombed. You do realize that its impossible to know which new account is votebomber and which is not?

Also, if it does get votebombed, you will be guilty. So is this at all worth the risk? If just one out of 10 gets votebombed, it negates everything.

Troll accounts/debates will be easy to identify and ban preemptively since the mods know what's going on. At the very least, their voting privileges can be suspended. If we see 10 new accounts pop up, the mods will ban them. Only a few accounts were suspect, and they've all been banned.

And how would you know that? You seem to have some knowledge others dont.
You do realize they can make 40 accounts in two weeks it takes voting to end?

The vote bombers don't have many accounts left, and they will easily be outnumbered. 10 debates like this should be enough to restore RM's rating.

Plus, RM would only get 5 to 10 elo from this debate, assuming it doesnt get votebombed, which it probably will.

I promise it's not. The rules are very clear regardless.
