Round 1

Let me explain it in a simple way. Bible is stupid. Like, half of it is just God killing people.

Bible is also wrong. It says do to others as you would have them do to you. Terrible life advice.

 Ok. Here we go. ..
Thanks for debate to b.k.
Thanks to anyone reading.

To start, we do not have much to go on. B.k. presents simple but ambiguous claims.  No evidence to help us navigate their logic to b.k.'s conclusion / claim for wrongness and stupidity.

1. Bible. We are probably safe to assume bible refers to the christian holy book known as the Bible. Although some use the term bible for other books (i.e. Hebrew/Jewish bible), these occur less often and include other words within a title. So let's just acknowledge that. B.k. can correct us if incorrect.

2. Is Stupid.
2A.
We need a measurement for what is stupid and to clarify if this is an objective truth. If a thing is stupid based on subjective opinion then the statement "bible is not stupid," is true and valid.

If we are to believe that there is objective truth to the given claim, then we need more then just evidence for the claim. We need to know how it is an objective truth.

In either case there seems to be only one example. Is this the only bases to look at?

2b God kills people.
B.k., are you referencing a moral  wrong?
Is this objective or subjective?

Why should we believe that a god killing is wrong?

I do wish to point out that although the quantity of kills may not accurately represent b.k. expression of "half the bible" -  half the bible is  new testiment where god does not kill - the morr important question involves the act in killing. We can focus on that.

3. Bible is wrong.
Does this refer to christian bible being correct vs. incorrect? Are we pointing out a moral right vs. moral wrong?

4. says do to others as you would have them do to you.

Some say this is good advice. Per argument, lets assume the given statement is in the bible. Why is this phrase bad advice?

Is this advice "bad" based on an objectivity or subjectivity?

Looks like no debate here.  I'll leave with food for thought. A response to a question, did God command genocide?

I researched a few things and looking to tie everything in but now I can just post it.
