What is it to rap?

And what is rap music?
a type of music of African American origin in which rhythmic and usually rhyming speech is chanted to a musical accompaniment
Same source as above

'Cant' is incoherent in the title. He probably means 'cannot' and meant to write can't.

'Cannot' means 'can not'.

Can has some definitions. I will supply the 2 most applicable to this debate:
: be physically or mentally able to

: know how to

What is lol?

It can mean several things.

I will presume it means:
laughing out loud: used, for example on social media and in text messages, when you think something is funny or you intend it as a joke

====

Burden of proof is on Pro

Pro has to prove that his friend who has a Spotify account dedicated at least primarily to rap music is neither physically nor mentally able to rap or that his friend is able to but lacks knowledge on how to bring that to fruition.

He must also prove that he meant it as a joke or that he is laughing out loud. We must realise that if Pro means the topic as a joke, it suggests he doesn't believe it is true. That would make it the inverse of a truism.

We need evidence that Pro is laughing out loud and an explanation of why.

Who is the friend?

In the shirt description outside the debate (not inside, back on the main debates page you can see it here while the debate is in voting stage:

Alter the status to either Debating or Finished, depending when you are reading this.

Inside this we see a 3-track album (for now). All 3 involve rhythmic and usually rhyming speech is chanted to a musical accompaniment. That is means they have the defining feature of rap music.

His Artist profile page has more songs on it.

For those that cannot access Spotify, his artist name is Skata Blade. Here is a YT page dedicated to some of his Music:

This misses the album Pro links to but has most or all of the rest of the tracks.

You can clearly hear he raps.

Here is 1 example. To maintain my anonymity/privacy I refuse to give it a like as he could analyse the profile and dox me somewhat. I accessed on VPN.

We have to understand the LOL. It seems to be a proof Pro knows he doesn't mean what he is saying.
