To note and I could not discuss it. The discord info was as soon as pms went out. Wfs phone on discord went up like 22 times. He was in my recent chats. It’s unfortunate but I cannot Ignore it. 

I have 2 choices 

1) fabricate a lie about the read which makes me look like shit 
2) tell the truth 

Savant shutting down discussion about that kinda confirmed my thoughts. I feel like I can read wf pretty well as scum. I’ve got him 3/3 I think. So there was behavior reads on top of that. The claim just sealed it and me having the ability to hold a knife to towns neck and just play how I wanted helped. Mass claimed helped with Poe 


Was wrong on the solve as there need to be a lynch and then hammer ultra last dp. Wylted caught this so good on him. I just would have did it with wylted and casey instead of Luna and Casey 

Disagree you always have to go off reads to win. Poe and roles are a great way to solve and that is a huge portion of the game and that was the line for victory. 

Gj town and sorry wf. But seeing that + the other stuff I could not just drop lol

Dude, you're the one making the argument that he was obviously talking about masturbating into a bunch of glasses and serving them to people. If you don't like his lack of activity in the game, fine, but assuming he just went there without ever mentioning semen or cum in response to your post about a lack of milk is pretty absurd. He is and it's actually curable with some self compassion and confidence. He is in particular what's known as a "failed narcissist". 

It's an odd thing because despite the overt displays of grandiosity, subconsciously he believes himself inferior to other so without realizing it makes these overt grandiose displays as a self soothing mechanism. 

It's why he does the bully victim thing. It gives him the opportunity to play the savior role. 

I see a lot of myself in him so I just pray that he starts to love himself so he can have real self respect and no longer need this grandiose mask.

You were in no position to lead town as you were trying to do, given how sussed you were and how frustrated town was with you. Whether or not their frustrations were justified is irrelevant; the best move was just to out everything, stop trying to bait scum, and hope town decides to move on from you.

Regardless, I think it creates an implicit bias. I agree with the lynch decision after the character and role WF went with as a fake claim, but it’s a learning experience for all of us. I think in future games we should all set our discords to idle or offline regardless of our affiliation 
I probably wouldn't bother doing that. Discord is inherently easier to check than catching up on a forum game. Theres 100% chance I would be checking discord and also not be caught up on a mafia game as either affiliation. It's really just a bad reason to scum read someone, and I never gave any credence to this argument against whiteflame.

I'm genuinely so tired of seeing people misuse the term 'gaslighting'. I'm not even saying this just to you in particular, I'm just saying this in general because I see it all the time and it genuinely pisses me off. Disagreeing with someone is not gaslighting. Even misleading or outright lying to someone is not inherently gaslighting. Gaslighting is a complex abuse strategy that involves lots of conditioning over time to make someone doubt their own thoughts, memories, and emotions. Unless you think that everyone here is involved in a complex plot to mentally abuse you (and somehow I can buy that you'd actually believe that), then no, no one here is involved in any gaslighting.

As far as balance goes, I didn’t care for it. I’d give both sides equal shots to win it, but the setup was going to be either incredibly townsided or scumsided based on the decisions of 1-2 players.

I think whichever side lost the game would’ve always been a little frustrated with how they lost, as far as the setup mechanics go. Winning doesn’t feel super satisfying bc of it.

Regardless, I’ve seen wayyyyy worse when it comes to setups. So if I lower my standards a bit, it was an ok start for a new setup creator.

30 Pages dp1. Like 20 percent of them were game related and the rest were spam, saying he’s being attacked, bitching, and antagonizing people. I knew he was town and lynched him and was okay with that because I thought wf was scum and I would do it anytime. At the point the entire site and everyone you interact with is saying you are the problem, and there is no reflection then you just policy lynch and move on. That first dayphase was unbearable 

But props on Continuing to never miss your scum reads. How did that Luna read turn out.

Hold on. Previously, when you were pressured to claim, what did you do? You claimed immediately. Everyone townread you and played with you without issue.

What did you do this game. You started off explicitly with you’re not going to claim and if town forces you to claim, you’re going to lie about. At that point, why should town believe anything you would ever say regardless of if you claim DP3 IC. 

Let’s think about what would have happened if you had done exactly what you did the previous game. If you had just said I am Malala and DP3 IC, I guarantee you town wouldn’t have lynched you. Luna only supported your lynch because of the admission you were going to lie. And then you effectively tunneled him the rest of the DP.

Count your number of posts last game and compare them to DP1 of this game. You’ll see a crazy difference. Luna wasn’t out to get you. Townies make mistakes and misread people all the time. It’s part of the game. But that’s less likely to happen if you are honest and don’t change the way you play. 

Lay it out.
