Shila has been banned for two months for a series of posts dated May 2025. These posts include statements celebrating the Holocaust and further harm done to Jews in particular. After multiple warnings, these posts persisted. Encouragement of mass genocide, even if it's past, is still against site rules and is particularly egregious when the person in question is suggesting (if only in question) that "more punishment of the Jews" is due. On 5/23/25, Shila had her forum posting privileges revoked and, given a lack of response from her in the aftermath, I have decided to double the length of her previous ban.

RemyBrown has been banned for 30 days, for a number of reasons. He has publicly stated that there were special circumstances in his life which contributed to at least one of these temporary lapses of judgement. With that in mind, the ban is not longer. This length of separation from this website will always give him a chance to square away anything in his life before posting here again.

Lashwnda has been permanently banned for repeat racism, repeated use of racial slurs, vulgarity, and other offenses. 

DebateArt exists to promote intellectual exchange, not to host historically illiterate provocations or serve as a platform for hatred disguised as discourse (this isn't 4Chan). Holocaust denial is not to be confused with a mere different viewpoint. It is a form of disinformation rooted in malice and bigotry, and it violates both the letter and spirit of the Code of Conduct.

This is not a ban on discussing WWII, nor events in and surrounding it. Holocaust denial is a well recognized form of extreme hate speech, used to justify calls for repeated genocide. ... Whereas something like denying Australia exists, is just a bit of harmless silliness; and is most certainly not connected to loser terrorists.
