When someone does something bad, it's on them. When they do something good it's because of God. Crazy how that works.
Well, why can't it be both?
A lot of people identify God as standard of, creator, and dealer of good,
To use a story not of Christian origin.

THE TWO WOLVES
A CHEROKEE STORY
A young boy came to his Grandfather, filled with anger at another boy who had done him an injustice
The old Grandfather said to his grandson, "Let me tell you astory. I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those thathave taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do. But hatewears you down, and hate does not hurt your enemy. Hate islike taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I havestruggled with these feelings many times."
"It is as if there are two wolves inside me; one wolf is good anddoes no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and doesnot take offence when no offence was intended. He will onlyfight when it is right to do so, and in the right way. But theother wolf, is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into afit of temper."
"He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannotthink because his anger and hate are so great. It is helplessanger, because his anger will change nothing. Sometimes it ishard to live with these two wolves inside me, because both ofthe wolves try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked,"Which wolf will win, Grandfather?"
The Grandfather smiled and said, "The one I feed."

Still, I'm an Atheist, and vaguely recall something in a Bible about man not being saved by works, but faith, But Bible says a lot of things, and not all ideas of God need be Christian. My argument though, is if a man has two paths, one which dooms, one with saves, If he chooses the saved path, that paths existence 'and his own free will saved him, If he chooses the doomed path, that paths existence 'and his own free will doomed him. As God is what is good, (By 'some Theist definitions) He will 'always be there, in good acts.
