How do you equate warning people about a fate worse than death and making threats? If you told a child not to stick a metal fork in an electric outlet or it would kill them, would you consider that a threat? Christians are simply warning you about a cosmic electrical outlet. But you go right ahead and ignore the warnings. Let us know how that works out.

Not being proven false is a very low standard of evidence that is met by any number of ridiculous beliefs including alien abductions and big foot.

Unfortunately, they are going to get a lot of mixed messages because... as St. Symeon the Theologian once said, you hear the name "Jesus" everywhere.

We'll forget for a moment that your so-called "fate worse than death" claim are just so many empty, worthless words.
Most of the members here are well acquainted with the general concept of Hell, but even you believers argue over it as can be seen on this thread. If the concept were being presented in a general way, it would be an explanation or warning if that's what you want to call it. But that's not what EtrnlVw was doing, he was aiming his malice, hatred and intent upon another member with the threat "only then will you realize you made mockery of all of us". All that member did was state Hell didn't exist and EtrnlVw went postal on him as if that member was indeed going to Hell.

We are not children and you are not our teachers, we have exactly the same access to the same Scriptural information you and everyone else has, in fact many non-believers here are better versed in Scriptures than the loving Christians who utter those threats. So clearly, there is no reason whatsoever to tell us we're going to Hell and then say, "only then will you realize you made mockery of all of us"
So, don't give us some crap about treating us like little ignorant children and then turn around and act like children.

Plus protestants make Christianity confusing with their myriad of heresies, and The Roman Catholic Church has done more damage to the name of Christ in their not so subtle attempts to make their Pope God.
