The six seem like a fine starting place, but there’s a high probability of a mod provided fake claim among them. Still, locking scum in on a fake claim is beneficial.
Due to the theme split from LotR, I assume it’s the same classic Good v. Evil. Still, we should be open to the possibility that there are any other number of theme splits, such as in LotR, it could be humans driving out the mythical races, or girls against boys, or anything else wherein one trait unites and isolates two characters from the pack.

I don't remember Urbosa.
The character and justification for role are mismatched, but this is common for game hosts when designing the balance.
I think it's worth making note of, but not hyper-focusing on.

Zelda was one of my favorite games. That it updates the game cartridge to save your number of hearts is incredible!
Ok I actually have played newer ones, like on the Wii... I remember that every game Link gets amnesia or something so has to start over as a little kid... Ok, apparently they sucked so much because it wasn't even his Wii games my friend has me play, but DS games ported onto the Wii or something like that.
Still, Link is like the most useless hero!

I’m Mario. Each day I may jump onto whomever is below me in the players list, killing them instantly. If I kill the blue Koopa (by jumping onto them, hammering them, or NKing them) I may at any time throw their shell to kill whomever is at the top of the players list. If killed I may restart the day phase up to three times. I can also use warp pipes to move to random future day phases or even games of mafia.

I guarantee a scum would not be the last on that wagon. Pretty much if he's town, then scum knows he's most likely honest about his role.

There's a lot of good scum claims on the field right now.
- Barney, decoy, really? Who would just go to someone's house, and do nothing and hope someone else kills them?
- Lunatic... Actually I don't know, I just keep hoping we're finally going to see a plaque doctor! More likely, he gets some bonus for lynching whomever he protected the night before (if it's protection at all).
- Austin, the only person who doesn't move. But with the dead scum being a ninja, I'm sure we'd spot it if he does move.
- Whiteflame, honestly a gut feeling he's bad. To not use his ability, is anti-town IMO. Anyways, back to theme this was supposed to take... If he was ever spotted visiting the deceased, his role would explain it.
- Moozer, will always have a reason to visit the person most likely to be killed.
- Joebob, scum can always fake reading alignments (I do believe the claim, but I also believe we should always have a smidge of doubt)
- Vader, has a build in excuse for not dying even if he targets the NK victim.

I didn't target anyone. The role would have given me the opportunity to force scum to block for me against the NK, but as soon as Savant was lynched and confirmed guilty, it just became a way for me to survive the NK at the cost of another townie. I didn't see a reason to potentially sacrifice someone so I could become Vanilla.
Your role would be much better if scum didn't know.
I tactically disagree with your choice to not protect yourself. Anyone might be scum, and getting them to kill themselves would be epic.

I already knew our tracker targeted Vader. That made it much safer to name anyone besides Earth. Of course town has such a lead, that I don’t mind if I’m mislynched today.
And I’m the decoy because my character got revenge by standing there doing nothing but distracting Bhishma (who couldn’t kill me because of a vow against killing women, which for no sensible reason applied to me as a man), allowing Arjuna to kill him.
