We need a way to deal with and survive spell casters, that seems to be our party's huge weakness
(Precisely, but being weak against casters is honestly not out of the ordinary considering most casting classes don't get any interrupts or dispels until level 3 spell slots. This is why I got dispel magic and why I'm getting counterspell next level with one of my magical secrets 👍).

As crazy as Alex Jones is, this ban was for Dorsey to cover his ass in a way the other social media "platforms" did not with their "hate speech" reasoning. Big issue, there is no such thing as hate speech legally. As platforms they can remove content that breaks the law, not something that doesn't.
They've been skirting a line with certain content under the agreement this kind of stuff is no bueno. This is just one of many overreaches from these companies where they are operating as publishers and not platforms.
This has nothing to do with the 1st amendment, and has everything to do with defamation law. Social media platforms are exempt from such tort, but beyond the illegal are supposed to not moderate content. Defamation suits(like the lawsuits filed by Sandy Hook families of survivors against Jones, are thus handled individual to individual.
But independent of Jones, actions like shadowbanning, withholding verification(checkmarks and the like), and more of conservative content is fmpov going to lead to their exemption being revoked and these companies being opened up to defamation tort for the content posted on their respective sites.

He smiles and winks and suddenly a brick wall seems to shoot up out of the ground between Snerp and the man, blocking him from view.
Snerp next casts Suggestion before stepping through the wall, still smiling, addressing the man in a calm tone.

I never said the Baron was a good dude. But if you intend on overthrowing him, how would the ensuing power vacuum be handled? It's not just as simple as taking care of the current leadership then everything is sunshine and puppy dogs hombre.
Plus, it sounds as if the baron might be going insane from the pressure and stress of the threat of Strahd? So there might be alternate measures than violence to stopping this. These are all things to consider before even acting in any sort of manner to put me or my companions in danger like that.
If you want to discuss putting a stop to this, then let's do that. But i would hope ur farther along in how to do that than travelers who just got here yesterday 😂.

Thank you, Snerp puts a couple gold coins on the table. You can keep the rest if you could bring drinks to me as I play. Not many, and I'll be right outside the door, so not too far to go anyways.
He then goes outside, lays out his backpack in front of him, slightly open to indicate it as a receptacle to throw coins into, and starts performing, taking pauses on occasion to drink some ale(enough to get buzzed, not drunk, make some jokes to whoever is watching, then returns to playing.

(ok cool, have you played thru waterdeep:dragon heist and dungeon of the mad mage? If so, thoughts on quality? On par with this one? Was thinking of getting it to run for the group im dm'ing cause it seems pretty dope, or Tomb of Annihilation.
Or would it be wiser to run a campaign I've already played thru by that point, cause i crafted a custom campaign already for 1-10 that'll take a few months at one session every couple weeks to go thru, such as this one?)

Kk, Snerp goes back to the tavern to fetch Sven-whatever-his-name-is, his buddy, and the horses, with the purpose of heading out to return the horses to the Vistani. Then go out to the lake to hunt for wolves/search for the mad mage.
(Maybe haunted Mansion after? Theres also the abandoned town 👍. We got about a day and a half or so, so plenty of time to explore them all including making camp to sleep.)
