That was mentioned a few times as well and it's a good idea but most likely it will be implemented a bit later because at the moment the main priority is adding the essential stuff, like moderation system, proper voting system and etc. But I know about that issue and it will be solved at some point :)

Yeah, agreed. Regarding the spam protection, I believe there is already some against automatic spam and DOS attacks but I don't know how and if it works but hopefully we will not get a chance to test. But if push comes to shove, there's always captchas ...

Notification system will be improved as well, just not too soon I am afraid :(

1) The front page is a pain in the butt, what we have now there is abomination because I simply had no idea what else to put there and truth be told, I am not sure I can come up with something really nice myself, most likely I am gonna try to find somebody with at least some taste for beauty and help me haha But it's definitely going to change. 

2) I don't think they have uploaded avatars under 140, they just get downsized when you upload images :)

3) Debate voting is another extremely difficult thing to implement right. At the moment it's implemented in the most naive way so truth be told, it's not any better than in many other places but I promise we'll come up with some well-thought full-blown system at some point :)

It's hard to answer you regarding the moderation level at this point. We'd need to think and come up with the moderation system from the scratch. Obviously it makes sense to appoint some willing people a "moderator" role and give some abilities to handle stuff but it's just a top of an iceberg, I believe it's possible to create a system (not perfect though but still) which would prevent the bad content in the first place. At least a system that would make it discouraging but again, it needs some thinking.

It's okay, thank you! Usually changing words is extremely easy but sometimes it gets a bit more complicated :) I just want to remove all eye soreness for the native speakers and can't do it myself 'cause I am not one of them :)

New changes:

1) Changed the "argumentation" status to "debating"

2) Added a way to jump to the last page of the forum topic

3) Added "christian" religion option

4) Added "forum posts" counter under the people's avatars for the forum posts.

Please note that the forum posts counter and other stats info is not real time, it has a delay of 5-10 mins, so don't get surprised if the numbers don't get changed instantly :)

Yeah, somebody pointed that out a few days, I will try to get to it this week and change it, it's just a bit complicated.

I am not gonna lie to you guys but at the moment, those things are not the priorities ( I mean the dropdowns and the like ) because there are so many more crucial things missing at the moment... (forum posts editing and moderation system to name a few). But! All those niceties will be implemented eventually, just not too soon :(

It will go much further than that, just give it time :)

Well, I added the website to the search engines and did all the optimisations but usually it takes months to actually start appearing in the results. The biggest problem that would hardly influence the SEO is the absence of the mobile version because now, at least Google, are prioritising the mobile versions. But maybe there is some work around, I am not sure yet.

I know it's not too convenient to always scroll down but the pagination here is rather good and it will allow you to jump to the last page, so it's a temporary way to handle it :)

Yeah I've also stumbled upon this feature and it does seem interesting so one day it may be implemented here. Actually I have many cool ideas in my head that we could discuss and implement here :) But I am afraid it's not gonna be that soon because at the moment the biggest priority is to properly implement the core functionality, like adding a way to edit forum posts, bots protection, good profile pages and a whole lot of things regarding the debates implementation. So even though the devs don't have much of a life, it's still time consuming but we'll get there :)

I know it's a huge inconvenience not being able to edit forum posts but it will be implemented soon. A lot of people have already asked this so I am on it :)

I will think about adding profile comments but I am not sure about this one, it needs some thinking because it can easily be abused. But we'll think about it, that's for sure. As I mentioned somewhere, I will add a link to your profile page inside the office  so that's not gonna be a problem to access it. Also I will a way to find the user's debates, forum posts and so on from his or her page, because it's missing now as well.

Also I wanted to point out one big thing that is missing from the profile pages. It's impossible to find the user's debates, forum posts and etc like you can on DDO. I know it's important and it will definitely be implemented at some point.

Yeah maybe, but they won't be able to spam at all if there are captchas deployed. Also storing all those spam messages in the database may end up costing some money for the server's space so it's not ideal.

Asking the answer, I am not sure, it may make sense in some situations. But I don't think it's meant to be used against bots, maybe trolls though.

Yeah, hopefully, I believe Google has this invisible captcha concept where you don't even have to click on that box to prove you are not a robot. That's the one I want to play with.

Bot protection is rather easy, captchas should do just fine. I will play with them a bit later, my concern is that they may be a pain the ass for the normal users.

Regarding the group PMs, as I mentioned above, that's already implemented in the code, I just need to come up with the design for it :)

Yes, I have forseen that it would be handy so on the backend side it's all there but I'd need to come up with the design for that, which is the most painful thing for me

Sometimes it's possible to get a response from the website saying that there is no connection to the server. If you see this message, don't be afraid, it just means that new stuff is being deployed. It never takes more than a couple of minutes of down time.

Enlarged the private chat input field, now it should be a bit more convenient to write larger messages.

I think you are right, it could definitely be something better. We could go with "In progress" but it also seems kind of too general, if you know what I mean. Do you have any more ideas we could select out of? Would it make sense to maybe just go with "Debating"?

I think the most painful part for me is coming up with some logos and wall pictures (those big pictures on twitter and facebook) because I have no creativity and required design skills whatsoever.  So any help on that front would be really appreciated :)

Implemented a way to edit and "like" debate comments.  Needs some testing on this part.

I've added another field to the debate preview as I mentioned before. Hopefully it will make it less confusing.

That's a mistake from my side. Initially it was supposed to be org but then I went with the com and apparently missed this piece and didn't change it.

Initially we had a way to choose the position just like on DDO but then somebody pointed out that it would make sense to just make it default that the instigator is always the proponent. It's just a matter of changing the topic formulation. For example, if the initial topic is `Toyota is better than Nissan` and you want to take the opposite position, you may just change the topic to `Nissan is better than Toyota` and be the proponent, hopefully that makes sense :) I think I will add a field to the debate preview saying that the instigator's position is always PRO, that may help with the possible confusion. 

Regarding the captcha, yeah, it's a good idea, as the experience with DDO proves. I will definitely implement it at some point.
