It's done completely automatically, doing that manually would be a pain in the butt.

The logic is really simply, it shows the debates that have no forfeited arguments, have participants with the rating higher than 1500 and the status is either `voting` or `finished`.

I've updated the debates page. It's still missing many things but I will be adding them gradually during this and probably next week. Also I've noticed an issue with the profile dropdown, which sometimes appears when it shouldn't, will fix it tomorrow. As always, any feedback is highly appreciated :)

Well, how it works now is more or less standard implementation, which ranks the results by their relevance. So if you look for two words, the topics that have both of those words should come out on top. But yeah, you are right, there's still lots of space for improvement but I think I'll leave it for now, we don't have a lot of content so even the current implementation should work fine for the time being.

I didn't change the entire website, I only increased the maximum allowed number of characters that can be put into a profile description :) But yeah, usually I try my best to deliver on things that people ask :)

I have bumped the max size of profile description to 5000 characters. Hopefully now it can fit.

I think the previous font and this one are of the same family, just somehow different. But I don't really understand much, if to be honest. I had some problem with the previous one but I can't recall what it was :/

Yeah, I know the feeling,  usually it takes a day or two to get used to a new interface and then it's all good :) But please let me know if you have some ideas on what should be improved, I am always open to suggestions.

Can I ask what you find discomforting in the mobile version? Also, I am afraid it's out of my control, but I believe some browsers allow you to switch the version in the settings. Please let me know if you manage to change it.

I know that there is a lot of work to do and I am trying to do my best. The main difference with DDO is that they had a full blown company, so they had more than 1 developer doing stuff 2 hours after work in the evening, and I imagine they had some marketing people and whatnot so I simply cannot keep up with that. Also they started their website like 12 years ago and it was much easier to have a good position in Google search so it gave them a great jump start.

I have my doubts about implementing the polls system, maybe I will find some 3rd party service that I could integrate ( given I can afford it ) but I highly doubt it's worth implementing it from a scratch. Opinions, though, can be implemented but probably in a completely different and hopefully more entertaining way than how it works on DDO. We'd still need to think about it.

When it comes to a crappy Google search position, I have 2 ideas about that. First is that we don't have the mobile version and it punishes us for it. That's why I am working on it at the moment. So hopefully it will help. The second is that we simply don't have any incoming links and Google doesn't trust us, so if you guys have some blogs or Twitter or anything like that, please don't be shy to share links to DART, it would definitely help to improve our search position and attract new people.

We do have a section on the main forum page called "New topics", but it shows only the newest 5 topics without providing a way to get more than that. So I am wondering if you are looking for a way to do exactly that, i.e. to get more new topics than 5? Or you don't mean topics but specifically posts? In such case, if to be honest, I am not sure how it would look and if you could provide a link to some forum that has that, I'd gladly borrow the idea :) Thanks

I see your point about smaller amount of information but it's tricky to put everything on a screen of extremely limited size, that's the price we pay for having a mobile version. I am not saying it's impossible but it would involve way much more work to make it all look nice on all kinds of screens. Most likely I will get back to these issues and try to solve them somehow but only once I am done with some other pages. One thing you can do in the meantime is to use your phone horizontally, instead of vertically, since it would have a bigger width and therefore more content would be available. And thanks for bringing this up, I really appreciate the feedback.

Oh I see your point. It's still there on the desktop version but I am afraid it's a bit tricky to put there on the mobile version since the space is rather limited. I tried to do it at first but then it was either impossible to fit or just too ugly. I am sure there is a way but I think it would take too much time to implement it properly :/ I'll probably get back to it once I am finished making the other pages responsive as well.

And please let me know if you stumble upon any issues on the pages that already have mobile support :)

I just realized that going to the last page is now the default logic when you click on a topic name. So you don't need to click on the timestamp.
