Is it because I was talking about a singular god and you are a polytheist? You don't tolerate talk about monotheism?
Pure bigotry and hatred.

@Snoopy
I don't believe God exists so obviously I don't think god should be blamed for anything.
That is how English works.
I want you to finish your thought though. What is it about my thought process that exhibits a double standard?

@Snoopy
I am 110% convinced that God is not the least bit to be blamed for the existence of hangovers or my occasional infliction of same.
But please do go on.

The version of me that started this thread sure seems to think so.

You have a double standard for "God" and Alcohol.
Please explain.

@Greyparrot
I would have at 2 votes for sure.
Lol good to know. I wasn't that concerned though which is why I unvoted. Bsh made that whole thing a much bigger deal than it should have been.

@Wylted
I town read people because they town read me. I can't escape it but I try.
Lol I have always had a bad habit of town reading people that scum read me.
Well at any rate I am becoming convinced of bsh1 being a good lynch candidate for the reasons in my last post. Let me make sure he isn't L-1 and if so I will add my vote.

@bsh1
If he is town then I see no reason for him not to character claim. Roles are much more important info than characters. If he is scum then forcing him to claim forces him to take claim, giving a chance (however small) of catching him in a lie.
You think Wylted is hard to read? Grey is actually hard to read because the simplicity of his... Playstyle I guess you could say... Means that he essentially behaves the same no matter his alignment.
Like I said though it isn't that important so I dropped it from lack of interest. I am however interested by the fact that your response to the pressure from my top 2 town reads is to focus in on that one post of mine and seemingly try to divert attention to that non-issue.

@bsh1
Why did you want his character?
Only reason for a townie to hide his character that I can think of is because it helps scum look for power roles. Grey already gave his role, can't think of any reason not to give his character.

Goddamnit. I forgot to put a period at the end of the sentence in that last post and I can't go back to edit it because mafia game. That is annoying.

@Wylted
I think ORO might be able to go solidly in the town pile.
Definitely agree with this, though for different reasons.
You are starting to sway me regarding bsh... I don't have any solid scum reads right now. Really just want Warren to show up

Why did you vote Grey in the first place?
I wanted his character but that isn't going to happen if I am the only one asking for it so I'm moving on.

Bsh 1 has my spidey sense going off. Asking avout theme earlier I feel like is something scum do more often than town to help thwm navigate how to claim if they have to do so early. Plus tge theme analysis on water is odd. Any experienced player knows that theme analysis is almost pointless.
tempting as it is to play another round of Simon says since that worked out so well last time I am not so sure about this one. Speaking just for myself I don't generally use theme analysis to form reads but talking about it early in DP1 can be useful in breaking the ice and getting a conversation started. Not sure if that was bsh's intent but even if it was not It is important to remember that being wrong =/= being scum.

Grey claimed Hitler. It doesn't seem to fit with the theme
What about the theme disallows Hitleresque chars?

Solve that one real quick theists.

@oromagi
I just looked at the wiki and the Valg are described as "
a race of powerful and malicious demons."
Definitely not good guys lol.
My character is a Valg but that doesn't mean all townies are. I am going to bed now, will read a bit more of the wiki tomorrow.

You role claimed immediately, might as well character claim too.

@oromagi
pls note post 27. I suspect I might have evidence that good vs evil is not a worthwhile divider here
Do you know much about ToG? I have never heard of it before now, will read up on it tomorrow.
You mentioned Valg earlier. Based on my PM that is some sort of race or maybe the name of a kingdom... Do you think it has something to do with the town/scum divide in characters?

Pressure Wylted. He's the hardest player to read, and so it is probably best to pin him to something early.
Wylted hard to read? Who are you trying to fool?

@Mharman
The vigilante is a neutral utility.
I understand why you say this though most people, myself included, disagree.
Even if we were to grant the vig as a neutral utility the Mason team was a bit over-the-top as far as compensation for the slight scum advantage provided by an even rather than odd number of players at the start.
One thing you definitely did right was the tracker vs ninja/bulletproof vs strongman matchups. If you kept those and instead did something else to help town a bit (off the top of my head, perhaps make one or both scum roles into x-shot?) then I feel the setup would not have been quite as town-skewed.
As it was the Mason team did not actually play any role in the game due to one of the Mason's being inactive. The loss here was instead due to half the scum team outting themselves and the other half giving up (not that I blame Supa, I would not have given up but after what WP did I certainly don't hold it against Supa for doing so.) but if everyone had participated I think the odds would have been in towns favor just based on setup.

@whiteflame
I'm a fan, though I will say the first season was stronger than the second
Definitely agree. A lot of the early second season episodes felt like they were essentially just copy-paste remakes of episodes from the first season.
Created:

It is a lot easier to balance a 9 man game than a 10 man game but this definitely was a town-sided setup. Masons are very powerful (when they actually play the game) so should only be used to counter some considerable scum advantage or town disadvantage.

Only thing I didn't like about it was the hyper-unrealism of most of the military technology in the show, but that is pretty unavoidable with most sci-fi anime isn't it?
