@FLRW
Well, the Democrats have had long periods since 1973 where they controlled both the presidency and both houses of Congress, giving them the potential to pass significant legislation, including a federal law codifying abortion rights.
  1. 1977-1981 (Carter Administration): Democrats controlled the presidency and had majorities in both the House and Senate.
  2. 1993-1995 (Clinton Administration): During the first two years of Bill Clinton's presidency, Democrats had majorities in both chambers.
  3. 2009-2011 (Obama Administration): Democrats had a supermajority in the Senate (briefly reaching 60 votes) and controlled the House.
Maybe women realize it's a scam.

It's called misogyny

Among white women who voted in the 2016 election, Donald Trump received 52% of the vote, while Hillary Clinton received 43%.

Wasn't Kamala's most recent trillion+ green energy bill that she cast the tying vote on a huge cash giveaway to rich green energy producers in the hopes it would trickle down? Or maybe she was being honest about where the money really went. It's funny how fast those donations from rich donors flooded in this year. Almost like they stole tax money and got their cut.

Well, Trump signed a deal with the Taliban that, subject to conditions, would have resulted in the complete withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan by May 2021, months before Biden’s withdrawal of the troops.
You should spit that fact into the faces of the 13 goldstar families and rub your melania picture while doing that.

He shouldn't have filmed it.
The deep state shouldn't censor the atrocities of incompetence. Nothing is more American than shining a blazing light on the evil of deep state incompetence.

Thankfully, the Streisand effect will ensure all Americans know exactly who put those 13 people in the ground, and who tried to blanket those graves with censorship.

"This is Mark Schmidtz, Gold Star father of Marine Lance Corporal Jared Schmidtz. Here we are on a beautiful holiday weekend day. I have to stop what I'm doing and spend time with what's left of my family to address a heinous, vile, and disgusting post put out by Kamala Harris. She is trying to incite those who don't follow the truth that President Trump was in Arlington as a political stunt. This shows how much she knows about the 13 families. We invited him to be there, and groundwork was put into place by Congressman Issa's office to ensure we followed protocol. Why did we want Trump there? It wasn’t to help his political campaign; we wanted a leader."

10 Questions Dana Bash Must Ask Kamala Harris
-->
@ADreamOfLiberty
Through extensive media networking contacts, The Babylon Bee has obtained the following exclusive list of rejected questions from CNN's talented writing staff,

  1. "If you were one of the characters from Friends, who would you be?": We're thinking Monica, she's SUCH a boss.
  2. Are you team Edward or team Jacob?: The platform we all need to know.
  3. "You're, like, so amazing. Sorry, I guess that wasn't a question.": But it's SO true.
  4. "Where did you come up with your brilliant idea to build a border wall?": It just came out of nowhere!
  5. "What do you think about feminism? Do you like it?": Very tough, but fair question.
  6. "Is it difficult being a woman in politics? Same question for you, Vice President Harris.": Finally, a moment for Tim Walz to get some attention.
  7. "Are you brat? Or ARE. YOU. BRAT?": It's a trick question. She's obviously BRAT.
  8. "Your opponent is basically Hitler. Can you tell us why that's bad?": The hard-hitting questions we've all come to expect from CNN.
  9. "Would you rather fight 10 duck-sized Trumps or one Trump-sized duck?": Sources say Kamala will lean toward fighting the single giant duck.
  10. "Can we please, please hear that adorable laugh again?": Journalism at its finest.
Powerful stuff! Leave it to CNN to only bring out the deepest, most informative, and probing questions.

Woman Who Got Soldiers Killed Condemns Man Who Comforted Their Families
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The woman who got 13 U.S. Service members killed in Afghanistan has issued a statement condemning a man for bragging about going to comfort the families of the fallen soldiers.

"How dare Trump go lay flowers on the fallen soldier's tombs, just because their families asked him to," said Vice President Harris. "It's disgusting -- showing up to a memorial service you were invited to. Anyway, why should he be the one accepting an invitation when I'm the one who got them killed?"

According to sources, Trump has been accused of accepting invitations from multiple Gold Star families to a solemn ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, where he honored their fallen sons and daughters. "It's disgusting," said MSNBC's Joe Scarbarough, watching as Trump laid a wreath onto a tomb. "This just shows what depths Trump will go to, even leaving the campaign trail to attend a memorial service. Is there no low this man will not stoop to?"

Historically, getting soldiers killed through horrific incompetence has been seen as damaging politically, but after Trump's attendance at the service, the Harris campaign has decided it's time to change that narrative. "So what if she got thirteen people killed and claimed to be totally comfortable with that decision?" said campaign manager Julie Rodriguez. "Nothing is off limits for political gain, even the very deaths she caused. You get someone shot, just accuse your opponent of playing politics by going to the funeral. Then, sit back and watch the media take it from there."

At publishing time, the Harris campaign had accused Trump of offering a tissue to a crying widow.

The reduction in per capita fossil fuel utilization without the natural alternative energy sources is what is causing loss of buying power and quality of life.
And reduction in life. Far more fossil fuel is utilized combatting hypothermia than hyperthermia. Most people still pay far more for energy in the winter. Rising costs for heating mean more deaths.

Why didn’t Trump lower the price of housing during his Administration?
The White House doesn’t control mortgage rates..
Indirectly they do.

While it’s true that the White House doesn't set mortgage rates directly, the actions of the president and Congress significantly influences the broader economic environment that drives these rates. When the federal government engages in legislative overspending, often with the support or encouragement of the president, it typically requires large amounts of borrowing to finance these expenditures. This borrowing increases the national debt and injects more dollars into the economy, boosting the money supply. As the supply of money grows without a corresponding equal growth in GDP, inflationary pressures build up, diminishing the purchasing power of the dollar. When the money supply increases without a corresponding growth in GDP, it then leads to inflation. This is because more money is circulating in the economy, but the amount of goods and services available hasn’t increased. As a result, prices will predictably rise across the board, diminishing the purchasing power of the dollar. This mismatch between money supply and GDP growth is a fundamental driver of inflation.

To combat rising inflation, the Federal Reserve, which is responsible for controlling the money supply, will decide to raise interest rates. A higher interest rate is the tool used to reduce the money supply by penalizing borrowing by making it more expensive to borrow and encouraging saving over spending. When interest rates increase, it becomes costlier for individuals and businesses to take out loans, including mortgages. This is how legislative overspending, supported by the president, indirectly leads to higher mortgage rates—by triggering the Federal Reserve to raise rates in an effort to curb inflation.

In essence, the cycle works like this: the government overspends, often through fiscal policies promoted by the White House, leading to an increase in the money supply. Government fails to predict a GDP slow down. As inflation rises, the Federal Reserve steps in to prevent the economy from overheating by raising interest rates. These higher rates filter down into the economy, making mortgages more expensive. So while the White House doesn’t set mortgage rates directly, its policies create the economic conditions that lead to higher borrowing costs for everyone.

Being forced to change a doctor is indeed worse than 20 million people not having health insurance at all.
"My body my choice" was never applicable for young healthy people.

Imagine a world where being forced to change your doctor is the ultimate tragedy, far worse than 20 million young and healthy people not having health insurance at all. After all, what’s the big deal about being uninsured? Those folks, if not all of them, would never have willingly chosen to pay for competent insurance anyway, much less something managed by the government. Clearly, the real crime here is being forced to find a new doctor, not the millions who might have gone without what the insurance lobby calls "essential healthcare."

"My body, my choice" was never meant to apply to young, healthy people, of course. Should they be free to live their lives without the burden of having health coverage thrust upon them? Who needs preventive care or the security of knowing they’re covered in case of an accident or illness? That’s just unnecessary government meddling. The real freedom is in avoiding insurance altogether, rolling the dice with your health and your consumer choices, and praying you never need support government managed healthcare.

So, let’s shed a tear for those who had to switch doctors, because clearly, that inconvenience outweighs the benefits of 20 million young and healthy people gaining access to healthcare. It’s obvious that the inconvenience of finding a new doctor is a far greater injustice than ensuring that every healthy young person has the ability to receive government managed medical care. After all, nothing screams personal liberty like the freedom to remain uninsured, untreated, and blissfully unaware of the dangers of life without government managed and mandated healthcare.

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), many young, healthy individuals who would have never willingly signed up for insurance were mandated to do so, which was seen as unfair by many. These "young invincibles" were often in a position where they didn't need extensive medical care, yet they were forced against their will to purchase insurance they didn't want. This mandate took away their choice, essentially penalizing them for being healthy. Instead of allowing them to make their own decisions about their healthcare needs, the government imposed a one-size-fits-all solution that didn't fit everyone. My body my choice did not apply under Obamacare.

Adding to the unfairness, between 3 to 5 million people who already had insurance lost the doctors they wanted to keep. President Obama had repeatedly assured Americans that if they liked their doctor, they could keep them, but for millions, this promise was broken. Insurance plans were canceled or modified to comply with new ACA regulations, leading to a situation where people were forced to change doctors and healthcare providers they trusted and preferred.

These changes not only stripped people of their ability to choose but also created a sense of betrayal among those who believed they were promised continuity in their healthcare. The ACA's approach, which was supposed to increase options and accessibility, instead limited choices for millions, particularly young, healthy individuals and those who lost their preferred doctors. The only real winners were the powerful lobbies that pushed additional Americans to consume their subpar products at government gunpoint.

How many of those millions didn't really want it, but were mandated to sign up for it anyway? It's like patting yourself on the back for following a government mandate and choosing to support government managed insurance instead of going to jail. Most healthy young people would never waste money on mismanaged insurance schemes. But that was what the mandate was all about, getting healthy people to pay for the sick by any means necessary.

It is better to have no healthcare. You get ill is nature saying that you need to die.
The idea that our only options are government-managed healthcare or no healthcare at all is a classic false dichotomy, as absurd as saying if you don't want to eat fast food for every meal, your only choice is to starve. We’re constantly told that without a massive bureaucratic system controlling every aspect of our medical decisions, we’d be left to fend off illness with nothing but herbs and a prayer. But the reality is far more nuanced, with countless alternatives that could strike a balance between public oversight and personal choice, ensuring that people have access to the care they need without being micromanaged by the government.

For one, there are many models of healthcare that incorporate both public and private elements, giving people the freedom to choose their doctors and treatment plans while still providing a safety net for those who need it. Countries around the world have found ways to combine universal coverage with market-driven innovation, resulting in systems that are both effective and sustainable. The idea that the only alternative to government control is complete anarchy in healthcare is a scare tactic, meant to push people into accepting a one-size-fits-all solution that is almost never in their best interest.

Moreover, the notion that getting sick is nature's way of telling you it’s your time to go is not just cold-hearted but utterly simplistic. Illness is often preventable or treatable, and having access to healthcare means that more people can live healthy, productive lives. By framing the debate as a stark choice between total government control and the law of the jungle, we ignore the vast spectrum of possibilities that could provide better care for everyone. It's time to move beyond this false dichotomy and start talking about real solutions that respect both individual choice and collective responsibility.

Government doesnt force people to eat a lot. Or does it?

Imagine a world where our diets are no longer dictated by government subsidies created by Agriculture lobbies that prop up the production of corn and sugar, two of the biggest culprits in the declining health of Americans. The government spends billions every year managing American diets. Without these subsidies, the market would naturally shift away from the overabundance of cheap, processed foods loaded with high-fructose corn syrup and refined sugars. We’d see a rise in the availability and affordability of more nutritious options, like fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, leading to a healthier population and reducing the burden of diet-related diseases.

By stepping back from managing our diets through agricultural subsidies, the government could allow consumer demand to guide the market toward healthier food choices. Farmers would have the incentive to grow a wider variety of crops, diversifying our food supply and making it easier for people to access the nutrients they need. This shift would not only benefit individual health but also the environment, as crop diversification could lead to more sustainable farming practices, reducing the reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides that are heavily used in monoculture farming of corn and sugar.

Removing these subsidies would allow a grassroot cultural shift away from the processed, sugar-laden diets that have become the norm in America. As healthier food becomes more accessible and affordable, people would be more inclined to make better dietary choices, leading to a decrease in obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. It’s a win-win scenario where both the health of the population and the environment stand to gain, all by simply allowing the market to operate without the distorting influence of government and mega corporate lobby intervention in our diets. It would also save us billions that could be much better spent on real welfare for the people.

Who needs government-managed healthcare? It’s almost like asking who needs a fox to guard the henhouse. After all, why would you want a system where the same entity that profits from your illness is in charge of making sure you stay healthy? It’s the ultimate win-win—for the government, that is. The more you get sick, the more they get to “care” for you, and the more they can justify the endless expansion of their bureaucratic empire. Who wouldn’t want a healthcare system that’s essentially a subscription service for your ongoing maladies?

And isn’t it just a happy coincidence that the government also subsidizes the very foods that are making us the most unhealthy industrialized nation in the world? High-fructose corn syrup, processed meats, and all the other culinary delights that contribute to our skyrocketing rates of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease are practically gifts from Uncle Sam himself. It’s almost as if there’s a master plan to ensure we stay just sick enough to need that government-managed healthcare. After all, nothing says “national wellness” like a diet of government-approved junk food that keeps you hooked on their healthcare system.

And let’s not forget the genius strategy of encouraging people to live sedentary for over a year during the pandemic. What better way to weaken natural immunity than by having everyone binge-watch their way through the lockdowns? It’s as if the government was trying to engineer a population perfectly primed for perpetual dependence on their health services. Forget building up your immune system with fresh air, exercise, and sunlight. No, the real path to health, according to our wise leaders, is to stay indoors, pack on the quarantine pounds, and wait for the next round of government-sponsored medical solutions. It’s almost as if the whole thing was a plot to keep us all just sick enough to need their help—but hey, at least they’re looking out for us, right?

They profit from you being sick.
Is that why the government subsidizes the kinds of food that help make us number one in most unhealthy among all industrialized nations?

Is that why the government encouraged people to live sedentary for over a year to weaken natural immunity to Covid and other natural diseases?

Isn't it just heartwarming to know that our healthcare system, designed with the utmost care by insurance monopolies, has our best interests at heart? These inefficient insurance lobby groups have somehow managed to secure access to millions of Americans, all while being generously supported by tax subsidies. It’s almost poetic how a system built to benefit a select few can thrive so magnificently on the backs of the very people it's supposed to serve. Who needs choice when you can have the comforting consistency of an insurance company dictating your healthcare decisions?

Meanwhile, the thought of choosing your own doctor is almost laughable. Why would anyone want to disrupt the carefully constructed monopoly by seeking out a healthcare provider that actually meets their needs? The system is just too perfect as it is—especially when you consider that the bill determining your healthcare options was penned exclusively by the big healthcare and big pharma lobbies. They clearly know what's best for us, so why would we ever think to question their intentions?

We should all be grateful for the efficiency of this finely tuned machine. After all, who needs personal autonomy in healthcare when we have the assurance that our choices have been pre-approved by those who stand to gain the most? It’s a win-win, really—just not for the average person trying to get the care they need. But hey, at least the insurance companies and the supportive politicians are doing well. And isn’t that what really matters?

Millions now have access to healthcare thanks to Democrats.
You mean inefficient monopoly insurance cartels have access to millions and supported with tax subsidies while people can't choose the doctor they want. With a bill written exclusively by big healthcare and big pharma lobbies for their exclusive benefit.

Stolen Burgers.
Kamala Harris, in her latest attempt to connect with the everyman, has claimed she once worked at McDonald's, flipping burgers and serving fries. Now, some might say this is a desperate and transparent ploy to gain the favor of fast-food aficionados and blue-collar voters. But really, what could be more American than revising one’s resume to better align with the struggles of the average voter? After all, what’s a little embellishment when the stakes are as high as saving democracy itself? The image of the Vice President in a McDonald's uniform, hairnet and all, is just the relatable touch we need in these trying times.

Of course, some skeptics might argue that this never happened, that the timeline doesn’t add up, or that Harris’s long and illustrious career in law and politics doesn’t leave much room for a part-time gig at the Golden Arches. But that's just a minor detail. In an era where truth is flexible and alternative facts are the norm, why shouldn't a leader be able to claim a past that might make them more relatable? Harris’s alleged McDonald’s stint is just the kind of story that could inspire confidence in her ability to understand the needs of the working class. If she didn’t actually work there, well, maybe she should have—because the optics are priceless.

So why did Kamala lie about working at McDonald's? Simple: it’s all about saving democracy. By connecting with voters on the most fundamental level—through their love of fast food—she’s ensuring that they’ll see her as one of their own. This little fib is nothing more than a selfless act of patriotism, a small sacrifice of the truth in service of the greater good. If bending reality is what it takes to bring people together and safeguard our democratic institutions, then let’s all give Kamala a round of applause for her valiant efforts to protect America, one McNugget at a time.

In these challenging times, it's truly inspiring to watch Kamala Harris step up and do what’s necessary to safeguard democracy. She’s mastered the art of connecting with everyday Americans, whether it’s through her well-timed chuckles or a carefully curated wardrobe choice. We should be thankful that DNC selected Kamala is out there, tirelessly reminding us that democracy needs as much protection as her next perfectly crafted soundbite.

However, while Kamala is busy ensuring our political system stays intact, let’s not forget about the health risks lurking in our kitchens—or, as the CDC recently warned, our bathrooms. Yes, you heard that right. Apparently, washing your collard greens in the bathtub is now a thing, but it comes with a stern warning: Don’t do it! The CDC cautions against this practice, citing the potential for cross-contamination with bacteria like E. coli, or ingestion of bleach residue. So, as much as you might be tempted to dump your veggies in the tub for a quick rinse, just remember that your bathtub might not be the best salad spinner.

So, as Kamala continues to pander her way to protecting our democracy, let’s make sure we don’t let our guard down at home. The CDC is clear—keep the collard greens out of the bathtub. Stick to the sink, where at least you know the risks are limited to a bit of soap residue. Because in the grand scheme of things, we need both a healthy democracy and bacteria-free greens to thrive.
