Then this was clearly the result of the republican party's positioning, not the work of one man.
Donald Trump is the face of the GOP, and his nominees directly led to this. Sandra Day O’Connor, David Souter, and Anthony Kennedy were fairly liberal on social issues. Even John Roberts is liberal on Roe. Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch are clearly very conservative on social issues. So actually yes, Trump is responsible for the decision. God knows who people like Romney would’ve chosen.

We’re talking about the reason gas prices went up, and specifically, how much of it Biden would be held responsible for. So what was happening before he took office is irrelevant which should have been obvious.
Gas prices miraculously went up right after Biden took office. It’s common sense to assume that demand would go back up, but what does Joe do? Restrict drilling and fracking. Heavy new regulations. Voila you have higher gas prices.
How much are we adding? That’s kind of the entire point of this thread as I’ve pointed out repeatedly.
Biden made it insanely harder to start up again by imposing massive regulations on existing drilling and fracking. Believe it or not it take compliance departments time to figure out what they can or cannot do when a million new rules are implemented.
So let’s be clear; it is your position that nearly every country on earth is dealing with a massive spike in oil prices, all because Joe Biden added regulations. Is this correct?
Considering us stopping oil production emboldened the Russians and OPEC that supply the entire world’s oil? Definitely.

Guns save anywhere from 300k to 1.2 million lives. Requiring a license to exercise a fundamental right is absurd. Next thing you know, you require a license to obtain an attorney if you cannot afford one. I don’t need to demonstrate “need” to exercise a fundamental god-given right.
Even you know guns are substitutes.
Why does this matter. Mental health is mental health. If I wanted to commit suicide, I could think of a 100 different ways to do it. Even under your “licensing” I could just go get a gun and commit suicide lol. Your plan does nothing.
There is nothing unreplaceable about guns I know of and if anything, they should be restricted as they clearly do cause destruction.
Destruction that apparently affects 0.025% of the nation while thousands of lives, rapes, assaults are prevented.
We are not talking about why guns should keep existing, it arguably should, but you have yet to give any reason why licenses on it are wrong any other than the reason that it disobeys a 200+ year old piece of paper.
No, it defies a god-given right, and I don’t need to demonstrate a need to exercise a right. Licensing places an undue burden on Americans in exercise their right. Not to mention it opens up an avenue for future confiscation.

If it actually is so, that just means the US needs a reform LONG ago, not now, because no society should run itself on guns. No large-scale society like the US has this freedom over guns, and it does not decrease, if not outright increases crime rate.
I think the statistics was 42k gun deaths in the USA. That’s 0.127% of the population killed by guns. And that’s just general. About half of those deaths are suicide, which is a mental health issue. Another quarter is gang violence, which is still going to happen with or without guns. Just because Canada doesn’t do it (look at them losing their rights) doesn’t mean it is bad. To the contrary.

So the bottom is about Joe Biden? Or are we talking actually talking about during COVID.
The phrase "the supply was obliterated during COVID" is talking about producers going out of business and other projects being shut down.
It's much easier to shut a project down than to start it back up so once the demand comes roaring back as it did, supply is not going to keep up.
Add hard to start a project back up with a million regulations that Biden passed, not to mention restriction on where you can drill.
Please explain what Trump would have done to fix this, and why he didn't do it in 2020:
Trump wouldn’t have added regulations. The market stabilizes itself. With growing demand, oil companies would start drilling more. There isn’t a lack of capital in the oil industry. And Trump didn’t do anything because he didn’t have to since pandemic was still going on in 2020 lol. It’s Biden that messed up the entire system by adding further regulation and preventing smaller companies from emerging because of the massive amount of money required for compliance.

Roe and Casey relied upon the fact that abortion is enshrined in the Constitution, which is absurd. The Court did the right thing by respecting the 9th and 10th amendments and returning the issue to the people and their representatives
